PREDICTIONSCOPY and PASTE the form below
Rules Obviously abstain from predicting if you edited, recorded or participated in one of the matches mark as NA or somethingHELL IN A CELL - VALKYRIE vs. PERL
MARISA vs. SKADI
This matchup between polar opposite women who came together for one cause (haters🖕). But quickly figured out that they are much different from an ideology standpoint in the end.
This match feels important for both competitors for different reasons. We are about a year removed from Marisa's loss to Deborah for the Women's world title. She failed to capitalize during the S-Cup and most this season has been about the drama regarding her marriage.
Skadi is a newer competitor to OCW looking for a feather in her cap if you will. We have seen some ups and down early in her career. I think she was very misunderstood early on by her vignettes and subsequent promos. The last couple of weeks have proven to me she is someone the fans can get behind.
As far as the match goes, this rookie on her PPV/FLE debut better strap it up. Marisa may hide behind glitz and glamor. She is one tough out in the ring. Look back at the performance she had against Dragana Cesar in the last few months.
Skadi has a bright future in front of her. With a unique look in a women's division in desperate need of some ladies willing to play by the rules. However I believe with a win here this get Marisa back into a groove and back on the path she started on last year to prove she is one of the best women in the company.
Prediction - SKADI GETS A MAKEOVER COURTSEY OF A BIMBO (BOMB) AND MARISA CELEBRTES WITH DAWG IN STYLE!
INTERNATIONAL (LEGENDS) CHAMPIONSHIP - NATE ORTIZ vs. MUGEN
This match has been a long time coming, likely much longer than even I know. A quirky situation led us here. Mugen stealing Nate's contract for the International Title match against former champion Rust Cohle.
Fast forward and both men have held the championship recently with the GTGOAT the current holder of the belt. These two have to know each other quite well in the ring.
Nate losing to Pugh was a bit of a setback but it is hard to think that Nate would lose twice in a row. Mugen recently beat the CCW Champion B17 wowing any doubters he may have had during his International Title run.
Both men hate each other so much that I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some underhanded tactics from both. Mugen in my eyes the more likely of the two. I hope Greg doubled his insurance payout for this match.
This should a back and forth classic. If it was taking place in the Tokyo Dome it would surely be 8.5 stars out 5.
Prediction - NATE ORTIZ BREAKS THE CURSE AND DEFENDS HIS TITLE AGAINST HIS LONG TIME RIVAL!
PRIDE CHAMPIONSHIP - DRAGANA CESAR vs. JUNKO JIIROTA
Rookie Junko Jiirota is shooting her shot against OCW Pride Champion and Hall of Famer Dragana Cesar. This clash pits one of the stalwarts of our women's division against an up and comer with a bad attitude.
Junko and her world tour has been a bit of start stop in terms of her in ring success. Losses to the likes of Ashley Moore, Perl, and others have been roadblocks. Her association with EMP and TOG has helped change that a bit. A big win against Ashley Blaine has also contributed to her rise.
Dragana Cesar is as cool calm and collected as they come. There never seems to be an inch given by her. She has elevated so many new stars in her time and is doing that again now. Since her return full time there has been no sign of ring rust or slowing down.
The awful truth here is Junko will not only have to wrestle the best match of her career. She will have to wrestle nearly a perfect match to be in there with the champion in the late stages.
I don't see this happening and I think this match will be more one sided. It will be Quiet Mami all day and night.
Prediction - WE HAVE GOOD GUYS, GALS AND NONBINARY PALS IN OCW AND THEY EVEN OCCASIONALLY WIN!
5 YEARS IN THE MAKING - PAUL PUGH vs. WREX
I am actually quite excited for this match. These two guys have been a part of the bedrock of OCW for a while, Pugh even longer than Wrex. I watched their first match back and can understand why it failed to live up to expectations.
The styles that both of these guys have at this point should mesh quite well. Pugh feels like your early 2000's wrestler and Wrex a more modern powerful style at this point in his career. Both of these former champions know what is on the line... if they have shit match again they will never live it down.
Pugh ever since being put through a burning table by BASH at Point Break has been on fire. Yes, all pun was intended there. We have seen the Paul Pugh of old who goes out and gives you a show every night. A true showman in the ring and rounding out to top form.
Wrex is always dangerous because it really only does take one when Friday Night Nasty is coming for your head. Wrex and his new even more serious attitude have come to.
This match should be epic, and I am really hoping it is. I think Pugh keeps his head on a swivel most of the match. Works a really clean and technically sound match. We get a couple of great near falls from some high impact Wrex moves. In the end however...
Prediction - THE MAN WHO COULD SOON BE ON AARP GETS THE JOB DONE AND LEAVES US WANTING FOR A ROUND 3 BETWEEN THESE BEHEMOTHS!
WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - EMP vs. BERTHA STIGGLITZ
EMP was on cloud nine after winning the championship from Deborah so it took some time to get a challenger to show themselves.
Enter Bertha and honestly the last time we saw her was at Wreslution 17 getting wiped off of the face of the earth by Dragana Cesar. However let us not discount the OCW Hall of Famer. Her prime may be passed but her big frame and pure brute strength makes her a tough matchup for anyone.
EMP is still on the top of her game and she showed Bertha that with the ruthless assault that was perpetrated by herself and aforementioned Junko Jiirota.
There zero chance I realistically think Bertha comes out of this match as champion. The odds on this one might be even longer than the Junko vs. Dragana matchup I covered earlier.
EMP uses blitzkrieg against the German and advances faster than she can handle. With Junko potentially lurking we know how Germans fair in a two front war. Forgone conclusion.
Prediction - AND STILL YOUR WOMEN'S CHAMPION... THE BOSS MRS. SENSATION.
TRUE SURVIVORS MATCH - DNS vs. TEAM B17
OCW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - JOHN CARTER vs. EL PARCA*
El Primero has reached over 200 days as your OCW champion and he faces arguably his most technically sound in ring competitor so far in John Carter. These two have a healthy history dating back a couple of years.
This feud got personal and quickly. El Parca at times could have been looked at as mentor for John Carter. After his loss to Jordan Trance at Wreslution 18, John regained form including an impressive Ambition main event victory over Eddie Ramos.
El Parca has been building this title reign since he came out the victor of the trilogy he and Maxx Edwards had earlier this year. No one has really challenged him in a way for this championship that I felt like he was ever in danger. It is John Carter's opportunity to change that Saturday December 21st 2024.
John Carter will start out of the gates early and full speed ahead. I expect him to take an early advantage. However the champion is not only that in name, but in spirit. He will fight his way back and control the middle to back half of the match. I do not expect this to be an easy defense in any way.
Sólo un tonto apostaría contra el mayor campeón mundial de nuestra empresa en la actualidad. El Parca es la joya de la corona de este imperio.
Prediction - EL CAMPEÓN RETAINS HIS TITLE AND SEND JOHN CARTER ON A SOUL SEARCHING MISSION FOR WHAT IS MISSING
