It's a typical morning at the local Hoboken gym, mainly quiet, bar a few of the regulars who are always working on their own routines around this time.

Standing off to the side with his trainer is one Xander Rane. Well, no, Standing isn't really what one would call it. Rane was currently being attacked it would seem, by his coach and lifelong father figure. Why, you may ask? Well, that's just another part of the typical morning at this gym. Ever since Xander had decided he was going to join OCW, he had started training with a ferocity even his own trainer had never seen.

As good a trainer as he may be, he knew for a fact that he could never take a solid combo of Rane's strikes. As such, their training together consisted of Rane shifting and dodging a barrage of strikes at an unrelenting pace, the only way to really get a good practice in without hurting his coach.

As the session continues, they both take notice of an advertisement on tv.

Coach: OCW huh? When you ever gonna let me know why you're doin this anyway?

Xander: Next time you come and we have dinner with Ma. Promise, old man.

Television: ....as well as an appearrance from Nathan Carter!

At this, Xander finally pauses his dodging and gets a solid fist to the face as his reward.

Coach: Get the hell up Rane! And what's the matter anyways? Isn't that a good thing anyways? I saw you too practicing myself and you out on some great matches together. So don't you think he'd want you in the company?

Xander: ....Yeah........maybe

Short and sweet, a few grammar mistakes, but very solid.

Learned a couple things about your character without you giving too much.
