We pan into the state of the art OCW Newsroom. Stacy is sitting at a desk, behind her is a glass wall, through which we can see interns running through computers, typing furiously. She shuffles through some papers and begins.

 

CLARK: Ladies and gentlemen this is Stacy Clark reporting for Online Championship Wrestling’s News Division.

 

CLARK: Tonight we’ll be covering a story involving OCW Alum Ryu “Spider” Matsumoto that has made prime time news all across the nation.

 

The camera jumps to a prerecorded feed of GNN. We see an empty conference room with a platform at the head flanked by an American Flag to the left and a South Carolina Flag on the other.

 

The conference room is packed with reporters snapping pictures and jockeying for better positions in the room. A young man in an expensive looking suit approaches the Podium.

 

MAN: Ladies and Gentlemen of the press it is my honor to introduce to you, Ryu Matsumoto.

 

Ryu steps out, uncharacteristically clean cut. His wild facial hair is neatly trimmed and his hair is tied back. He’s wearing a plain yet elegant black suit, with a white shirt and red tie.

 

RYU: Good afternoon, my name is Ryu Matsumoto, and I’ve been a resident of the beautiful state of South Carolina for the better part of a decade.

 

RYU: Tonight, I stand before you, the Ladies and Gentleman of the press, and you all the great people of South Carolina; to formally announce my candidacy for the South Carolina Governorship.

 

Ryu raises both arms and makes peace symbols as the scene fades to black.
