His father, Dominic Lee, was already deep in the wrestling business. Meanwhile, Dax’s mother held down the broken household with anger in her voice and spite in her heart. Wrestling was never a dream, it was a life sentence. By the age of 16, his father called him. Not as a father, but as a promoter. He founded a new promotion and wanted Dax to be there training. Dax thought this would finally be the escape he needed, wrong. Dominic pushed Dax to the limit, made sure everything Dax did was perfection, forged out of his own image. Dax wasn’t good at taking pain, so at age 20, Dominic got Dax on pills. Dax, then, followed Dominic’s orders to a tee. For the next couple years, they would have earned gold together, made a bunch of money, and owned the business. That was until Dax’s mother passed away. Dax swore he would drop his pills and did so, going to rehab. Dominic wasn’t pleased and bashed him online and in multiple different promos. Dax was finally cleared to compete and attacked Dominic immediately, trying to avenge himself from the manipulation of his father. After they fought and Dax won via submission, Dax left the company to pursue bigger promotions.
