PART II – THE EXCURSION (1999–2003)

In 1999, SPW sent Satohiko abroad on excursion.

His first stop was Mexico, where he wrestled for Lucha Suprema. There he refined his aerial abilities and became known as “El Fantasma Blanco” — The White Ghost.

England changed everything. Wrestling for Empire Wrestling Alliance, Satohiko became obsessed with technical wrestling, joint manipulation, leverage, and submissions. One coach famously remarked:

“Most wrestlers learn holds. Satohiko studies suffering.”

In Canada, he developed strength, endurance, and a new philosophy. He no longer believed victory came from overwhelming an opponent. Victory came from taking options away.

A damaged arm weakened strikes.

A damaged shoulder weakened power.

A damaged wrist weakened defense.

During a winter training session, he remembered Daichi’s words and finally discovered his identity. Ice did not rush. Ice spread slowly and relentlessly until everything froze.

In early 2003 he returned to Japan.

Satohiko Hitta disappeared.

Aisu was born.
