  1. Not in order. Sorry if I forgot something. Blaine Estrella Solid opener with an unexpected result. Not a huge fan of Blaine attire because street clothes look meh but I understand it was related to the gimmick. Now my only gripe with this match is the amount of strike strike strike corner strike strike strike sequences. Should engage with grapple more often or variegate the play style a little, even though your are trying to be a striker (there are grapples or strong strikes that still fit a striker). Other than that the match was neat, Cool finish and gg to both players I remember the Timesplitters RPs from last year, I didn't understand it last time, I've found them entertaining this time around but I haven't much to say about them. I definitely enjoyed the other Spiders RPs, the “real” ones. But I understand they have been doing this since forever and want to just mess around and do different, out of the ordinary things. Three way Pops for Solomon as expected, great attire from Matteo, I'm still not a huge fan of Caine’s caw but whatever. “OldSchool shooter” was one the highlight of the match. Some close calls and Caine ultimately wins. Happy for him because he's put it the work and because nobody really was expecting him to come out on top at Cide. Still a solid season for Matteo who despite the loss heads into Season 15 with a ton of potential. TY/B17 is an interesting duo, in a division that clearly lacks tag teams. The mentor/protege deal is simple but works well in Wrestling especially when it mixes ic and ooc as in this case. Spider Cobra Personally the match of the night from an ENTERTAINMENT standpoint. It was fun to watch, simple as that. That's due to a mixture of things, probably Spider being Spider (with all of the flaws connected to this) and Cobra being the lovable Daniel Bryan of the situation. Thankfully he escaped the submission move, he lost but was still somehow protected by the way he took the L (roll up) and by the fact he kicked out of the Khallas twice. VP made it 70x times better. I enjoyed the H2O RP a lot as I enjoyed the whole feud with KD. Not sure how Stacy could like that hairstyle though lol Tag Ladder Felt a tiny bit more one sided than expected (Quartz took forever to get to red) but still very entertaining. A spotfest, very WWE style in the way the book their ladder matches. My personal favorite was Rust no selling the knee then going for the comeback. Perfect example of how you can use the game mechanics to create something cool to watch. Not sure what else to say really, I think we possibly have found a way to make tags a bit less boring with added stipulations (ofc if the handlers agree). The Zoe Ashley Moore program is enjoyable but Moores gimmick is really hard to get behind. It's hard to believe that she is scared shitless of someone who she has beat clean and fairly easily one week ago and who is also smaller than her. It's like Goldberg being scared of Rollins. Hard to get behind and to take seriously, unless you are going for a comedy character a la R Truth, but she has the potential to be more than that imho. That being said I've enjoyed the angle, just need to refine the gimmick a little. Would be interesting to see a rematch at some point. The KD RP was simple but definitely an improvement from the previous RPs. I feel like the whole “I'm going to steal the title” deal was a bit silly especially when it came from a man who is supposedly an intimidating giant. Felt more like a sissy lol. I like this version of KD more. Solid RP from Drago, with all due respect I enjoy these more than the P3 segments as they sell the hype for the match more, compared to the more comedy ones. The broken English is the extra touch that makes them unique even though I think he should've learned it by now. No? Lol H2O KD For the love of mankind H2O should stop using those girly taunts, especially when he's rocking a pink outfit. JK, but seriously. Fun match, competitive but cleanish and with a solid finish. Not a huge fan of pop ups attempt, they look dumb, even though I understand their competitive nature. H2O retaining was definitely good though, makes the title looks stronger and, given the post match angle, opens up some interesting scenarios in the future. KD needs to fix the moveset a little and either remove the spear as a regular if he wants to keep it as a finisher or claim a different one in the thread. Maxx Tucker RP, loved it, simple, to the point and wrestling based. A sneaky heel cheapshotting a face. Wrestling 101. Sometimes less is more. I want to see where this is going. Jehst x TY was unexpected. It's good to see more experienced roleplayers helping others out to get them some exposure. He tried to convince him that teaming up with B17 wasn't a good idea… well. Only time will tell. I see what you did there with the elbow drop reference. Jett vs Code at some point in the Future? Count me in. It's been brewing since Lution pretty much. Code is a great roleplayer, should definitely be around the main event scene more often. Wrex Malu Entertaining contest all throughout. Wrex has a solid moveset and I think he's one of best when it comes to make a match not look like an actual game if that makes any sense. The Samoan commentary was on point too. If I'm allowed to say one thing (probably not) is that I'm not a huge fan of those fake outs moments, when Malu runs at Wrex fakes the Running fin then hits the other one. The finish looked a bit awkward because of this. Solid contest though, looking forward to the tie breaker now. Cort x Dupree RP about the FI case theft. Not really sure where this angle is going, but I like the fact that the case is constantly brought up in the storylines, keeps it and his holder relevant. Solid heel work from Cort and entertaining angle all around. Cobra’s RP was great. He wrote off the defeat, kept his heat going and showed some character. I could picture him still making his entrance with light heavyweight title, possibly going for a LHW vs EX Div rematch? Just an idea. Reign was short but his season was solid. Wrex wants a rematch at S2R? Let's go. Drago Nate Fun match with a lot of hype around it, for those who are informed at least. Some neat spots on the outside even though the game was not cooperating. The Tyga upper on Nate was an awesome spot, and was surprisingly fluid despite it being a standing front finisher. The Jungle 2 Jungle finish was neat. The final cutscene keeps us wondering if there might be a rematch in the future?
  2. I think we are all aware of this, but it's unrelated to the point I was making.
  3. You are the booker so you know better than me but I don't completely agree with this comment, as I stated earlier on Discord. If a feud is good and the payoff match is entertaining then both should benefit from it. Empress in particular has proven to be the best heel in women's division and all around a very entertaining character (and most of all a chill person to work with), and this, in my super humble opinion, should matter more than nailing the kick out mini game at Summercide. FYI the match hasn't been recorded yet
  4. Thanks to Empress for putting the Hype video together.
  5. It's what I said. I thought the turn was just for the sake of the Road to Lution since you were going to face a heel team. I wasn't expecting CQC to stay face afterwards. I guess I phrased it wrong.
  6. Scattered thoughts (not in order) - Leo Grimm's RP was really good. At first it looks like the average "Your champions suck, I'm here to save OCW" rookie deal, but he actually took the time to read about the characters, their gimmicks and their catchphrases which is not common for someone who is new. Can't tell much about the angle with Parca for now, but it will be interesting to see where it goes from here. - Happy to see Flojo get a big win even though there are a few things that could be improved FPR wise. A bump is a reset, you have to give space. Side strafing a finisher is meh, some people don't mind it, others hate it. Either way it was a solid match, just a little tainted. The post match RP confused me a little. You should be hyping up the match against Heather, instead it looks like it's busy work for now. It's still good to see Flojo building up hype and having a strong direction. H is a great handler to work with. Try to make the best out of this. - The Clark Effect was filled with mystery and drama. Who is this mystery attacker? Where is Terra? Why does Elsa have the same grammar level of a 4 year old despite being in America for over than a year? We will find out soon! - The main event was an average competitive match. Rust got to red first. Finisher. It's over. Rust really knows how to play his character and how to time his taunts. I particularly liked the fisherman suplex spot. It looked neat. He tried to escape the fin but nope. The ending cutscene was confusing but in a good way, got me wondering what's going to happen next. Whether Rust is really turning face (he was kinda face already up until Lution, but I thought it was just a one night only type of deal) - Jerome is a solid caw all around. Neat moveset, good character. The attire looks a tiny bit generic but I guess it depends on what you were going for. Most indie guys wrestle with super basic stuff. Putting female moves in the moveset (Dakota and Peyton) surprisingly fits the character and gives him a unique twist. Cobra your entrance is too long. 2 mins? Come on. Good job on the W though - Not sure how Tre managed to choke it. Needs more killer instinct I guess. Solid RP, plus Cort is a great RPer, I'm sure this program will benefit both. - Quartz Tyson was ok, cool finish. Some FPR hiccups from Tyson: rev knockdown count as knockdowns. Quartz uses tank buff to circumvent the major debuff. Did they patch it? It wasn't working in February. Maybe I'm seeing things. Major into finisher and gg - Gin debuted with a fine promo. She has a unique gimmick which is great to see, a breath of fresh air we could say. Please be consistent. - The issue with the Archer Academy stuff is that none of these segments were on actual shows before (might be wrong) so it kinda looks like it's out of context for those who don't read the promo Room. Still good to see some sophomores finally having something to do. - Cort big timing as a heel... was hoping for a 4th of July special but I guess I should tune it to Turmoil? Wait! Is he going to have is own talk show now? I'll definitely tune in for that. - Saturn short and sweet, straight to the point. Creepy AF too! Let's where it goes, probably a new look for him. - A "competitive" RP from Bobby in which he shows concerns about his WL ratio even though he's been shoveling his contenders with little to no effort. He's saying he's good but doesn't feel top tier. The sharks metaphor was spot on. I feel like it's more appropriate for PS4 though. lol
  7. I dedicate this bump to the Shoot and Duck Era
  8. So when are we fighting one on one?
  9. Took me a while, better late than never Don't really know what to say about Bray/Archer. Just overall disappointed. We were all cheering for Cobra in VP but Ant was in control and won fair and square. Popped for A-Chainwrestling-Cobra in the VP. Not much else to say because it was also pretty short. The female FI was easily the best match on Prime. A solid build up which benefitted from the Road 2 Glory storyline and months of rivalries and subplots. The handlers played according to their caws psychological traits which always makes for an interesting match (Ashley going for the case every chance she had, Flojo doing suicidal spots and so on). Personally I was rooting for either Flo or Ash because I feel Emp is already over AF and doesn't really need the case, whereas Ash deserves it for the effort she put in this season (most improved rper 2k19 hands down) and Flo is still looking for that big W. I know every handler involved has big plans for the summer and I'm sure they will knock it out of the park. Disappointed to see Belle go, she was a very good player and most of all a chill handler. No bridge was burned so who knows, perhaps she will be back at some point. The Battle for Space and Time was definitely too long. I didn't mind it that much because I was in the VP and that really helps with the viewing experience. What hurt the match was the fact that they decided to use the same footage over and over again whereas last year (it was motn contender) all of the clips were used just once and that always kept you wondering what was going to happen next. Also the fact that there were pretty much no competitive aspect in it outside from some bits here and there really took the viewer out of the fun. The P3 bonanza sorta made up for it, I really enjoyed that RP. Looking forward to the battle for space and time part 3 Bobby Maxwale was a straight up competitive match. A lot of super kicks, a lot of leg moves, and even more super kicks. It all ended with an RKO on the announce table (do omg moments count as finishers? Who cares, Bobby was going to win anyway). The male FI was long, a lot of spots, some forced, others were really cool. I enjoyed it a little bit less compared to the female one but it was still a good way to open Lution. Happy to see Cort getting the W even though I felt like it was Tre’s time to shine. Either way I know he has something planned with Cobra so hopefully he will get in a title picture soon enough. Cort is a good egg, an awesome role player and will be a perfect FI holder. Telos wins best Lution attire. Capo Jehst wasn't necessarily bad. Personally I understand Jehst wanted to play according to his caws state of mind and inflict as much pain as possible to his opponent. This explains why the match dragged for so long. That said, maybe the position on the card didn't help or it was a combination of things, I don't know. Capo left too, he was red hot when I joined and it's sad to see him leave but I was kinda expecting (he was barely active on Discord). I'm sure Jehst can bounce back from this and move to the main event scene (we desperately need main eventers on PS4, there's none outside from Wrex and Code) H2O Drago wasn't really good but that's what you get with the competitive nature of this fed. It was salvaged by the finish which had "Lution moment" written all over it just like the Mugen spot of last year's Savage Lands. I'm sure H2O will be able to write off this L and move on to different things, maybe towards the main event scene. I hate tag matches, I feel they weren't programmed correctly by 2K as they often drag for way too long (those who watched all the ppvs live can relate). Personally this one felt a little bit better compared to the others, probably because of the Lution experience or because of the presence of some hilarious moments (Quartz distracting the ref lol). Happy to see CQC with the straps because they are cross plat and this can help the division a lot. Also their story comes full circle as they formed last year on Lution. I find the Troupe a bit cringy. I'm legitimately starting to hate Terra. I'm indifferent to Elsa. I still sorta like Dragana because of her Manager. I hope they'll find something to do soon. I think the issue is that their promo have pretty much nothing to do with wrestling. They are friends, they are somewhat wholesome, that's cool. But unless it builds up to something I find their RP repetitive and a little bit stale. Happy to see Caine getting some recognition. The fact that he got horse kicked (goodbye horseeeees) is not really going to hurt him in the long run. He's often overshadowed by the rest of his rookie class but he's always there, always active. Interested to see this angle with horse. I don't remember in which part of the show Joopiter Reese was. All I know is that nobody in the VP could read what he was saying as the captions kept changing way too fast. Reese had his moment so I guess that's okay. Wrex Lee was really creative, the whole idea of it was cool and well executed in my opinion. Wrex was in control for the most part, often up of two or three revs. Not much else to say about this outside from the fact the I hope Wrex goes back in the title picture as soon as possible and possibly brings Code and Jehst with him. Code Malu was an average competitive match. Everyone and their mother cheered for Code, but he simply couldn't pull it off. Honestly there's two ways to play this game, you either try to put on a 5 star classic or you straight up play to win and hope it will still be a barn burner. In this case the latter didn't work out. Really, really liked the attire of Code, with the custom card symbol and everything. I don't really know what's going to happen to Turmoil now, the main event scene needs more people now that Code is out of it (I hope not), B17 went to Xbox and Wrex is not the #1 contender. Realistically we either bring Jehst up or give one of the above a second chance. I don't know what to say about the post match scene other than the fact that playing hot potato with the title has damaged its prestige, which easily peaked during the trance wrex storyline and is now pretty much comparable to the Pride from a fan perspective. Doc B17 really stole the show. It was intense, high paced. Top moment for me was the time when Doc went for a dive and everyone was like “NOOOOO” and then he climbed down. It was super close too. I thought B17 had it when he hit the MDFYS, but Doc kicked out instead. Now the Tottenham logo on the trunks kept we wondering, but apparently it's the in character football club Doc supports. Probably the best match of the night The triple threat was overall entertaining to watch. A lot of close calls, break ups, kick outs, etc. Happy to see Tibby getting a W in his first main event. I wonder who will step up to the me scene now on Riot. A perfect way to end Wrestlution.
  10. The scene opens inside a Foot Locker shop, in Garment District, New York. Valkyrie is sneaker shopping along with her Lollipop Chanisaw partner, Lotus FloJo. Valkyrie is looking at her reflection in the mirror, pondering whether she should buy the Air Max 720 Neon or the Air Max 720 Sunset. Valkyrie: So, how do I look? Lotus FloJo: You are looking kinda fresh, b. FloJo gives Valkyrie a thumbs up. Valkyrie: Mmmph. I guess I'll just buy both. Mr. Sensation is paying for this, who the hell cares about the price tag? Flojo keeps waiting patiently as Valkyrie is trying a new pair of shoes now. Meanwhile a group of fans have gathered outside the shop. They are screaming for them and asking for their autographs, while the staff is trying their best to keep them at bay. Lotus FloJo: Well, I've spent my Lution paycheck in Anime figures, rare and classic Video games for my PlayStation 2 kinda cheap actually, I bought a house in a quiet neighbourhood, imported some stuff from Japan and put the rest into savings. Oh and I bought a car; a New Toyota Supra. Valkyrie: Wowsers. Lotus FloJo: Right? That’s some cool stuff. As Valkyrie is putting the sneakers back in their box, her eyes linger on the OCW Women's Championship belt, that she left on a chair nearby. Lotus FloJo: What’s wrong? Valkyrie: Belle. I've heard she got injured during the Ladder Match on Wrestlution. She won't be around for a while. And that means, it's now just the two of us. Lotus FloJo: Heh. Not a huge deal. I guess...Things happen in those matches. Not everyone can handle taking such bumps. Valkyrie: And there’s another thing. The entire locker room wanted me dead before Wrestlution. Now that I've become Champion, they will vie with one another to see who gets to murder me first. Valkyrie: Empress has Our Hero backing her up and she swore she will take the title from me. Her best friend, Ashley Moore, is the Future Investment holder and can cash it in on me at any time to become the next champion. She tried to do that last Sunday but somehow I've managed to fend her off. Valkyrie: And now Heather Angelo is back and wants redemption for what I've done to Kasstianity. Blaine is lurking somewhere too, don't think for a second that she will just go quietly in the night. Valkyrie takes a deep breath and sits down. She holds the world title in her hands, staring at her reflection on the silver plates Lotus FloJo: You fought hard for this. This is quite possibly the first time I've seen you smiling since… well, since forever. I don’t hang out with you that often either. Besides, You will find a way like you've always done. Valkyrie: You know damn well what I've been put through this season. And that is nothing compared to what's going to happen to me in the next few months. I need to know that you will be there for me… I need to know that Lollipop Chainsaw wasn't just a name on a t-shirt. Valkyrie: I need to be sure that you will be here for me when things get messy. I need a friend. The two stare at each other for a bit. FloJo takes a deep breath. Lotus FloJo: I got your back, Valk. Even though I get my butt kicked. You can count on me. Always. Valkyrie: Alright. Valkyrie: Hey, there’s a food truck over there. Want anything? Lotus FloJo: Sure. I’ll have what you’re having. Valkyrie heads to the food truck to order food while FloJo sits and waits on the bench. Lotus FloJo: I just wished you knew what I was going through internally. Valkyrie: I know I haven’t been the best of friends but I’ll make up for it. Or at least, I’ll try. It’s going to be a hot summer, that’s for sure. The two smiles as the camera fades
  11. Thanks to Ashley, Empress and Adam (especially Adam) for carrying me throughout this part of the season despite my lack of motivation and creativity. We have big plans for the Women's division for the second half of 2019 and hopefully we will deliver as a team. Big thanks also to Jake, Jay and Cort for the production of the show.
  12. You will bounce back Code. Turmoil needs active roleplayers and good eggs
  13. Thank you for setting it up, I bought the extra large poster and the stickers
  14. (My English is as bad as my knowledge of wrestling) I like multimen RPs because they make everything feel more alive and realistic in a way, even though they can be quite challenging to put together. Props to everyone involved in the first one. You could use an extra heel somewhere in the mix but hey. I don't know who I will be rooting for on Lution. Not really sure who was behind El Fuego x Blondie RP but I'm guessing Spider because of the time travels. It could be Mugen too though. Elsa, Dragana, Terra are alts done right as the handlers are showing a lot of dedication and commitment, more than most mains actually. Terra giving Dragana another gift. Wholesome. My only (minor) gripe with these RPs is that I honestly don't know what they have to do with actual wrestling anymore, sometimes they feel like slice of life fanctions you could find in other websites. Not a big deal though. “You can't shine my non existent shoes” quote of the night? Poor Cobra. But that's what you get for not calling Alyssa Winters back. Ok now I have a confirmation that Spoder was behind the previous RP. Well. I remember last year we had GTA V gameplay in the battle through space and time. I'm hoping for some COD or Pubg this time around. Dickhead17 puts Tyler Steele and Ricky in the same sentence… not really fair. Ricky gave his contribution. He's also still a Patreon for some reason. We should add a new rule to the handbook: when two faces have a fued one of them should turn heel. Let's put this RP as reference as well. Same as above but with reversed roles. I mean. CQC could be fighting Jesus and Gandhi but the VP would still cheer for them regardless so who's the real heel here? I don't know who to root for on Lution. CQC winning could help with the division since they are dual console. But Scumciety has been a great faction as well and could benefit from added exposure and competition. Idk The Bonanza was cool, I just felt you could've used it differently, maybe to set up your Lution match and having your opponents as guests. Spider was mentioned towards the end to be fair, but you get what I'm saying. Still enjoyable though. El Parca reminds of La Parka but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There's only so much you can do with interviews RPs but we should appreciate his commitment. Hopefully he'll find something to during the summer. The match against Cort was fun to watch. Cort improved a lot over the past months and losing to him is not something to be ashamed of. Competitive wise El Parca should get a little bit better with his reversals management, as Cort was firmly in control for most the fight. The clothesline at 7.02 was brutal. I think Wrex should've posted the prison RP on the actual show instead of the promo Room but anyways. Anyway I'm interested to see where this angle with Lee goes. Happy to see Bobby return to full written RPs. Honestly the video stuff is good for some major plot points but it will never fully replace the written content. As Quartz said this promo was really wrestling 101, with face heat, catchphrase and everything. Honestly I see Bobby retaining on Lution. The tag match was honestly too long for me, I watched at x2 speed. Happy for Golden Cobra, especially for Cobra since he struggles with his solo record. The male FI could potentially steal the show on Lution. I feel like the TLB video was a bit redundant. The match was called off and he was just wasting his time here. Could've done something different. Interesting interaction between Doc and Ant, makes me wish they were able to have some sort of rivalry at some point in the future, since I don't see them returning to tag action anytime soon. Kinda like the Shield, once they split they never really came back together aside from some special events. My whole promo was an attempt to carry over the suspension storyline on Lution and afterwards. I turned the shoot-o-meter all the way up to make some noise and it kinda worked. Who followed the story knows that throughout this Season Valkyrie has progressively abandoned her Fairy Tales bs and is now “growing up”. This was supposed to be the climax to said character arc. As stated on Discord I'm excited to be a part of Lution and thankful to Jay/Dupree for the way they booked the whole suspension storyline as it gave me a chance to develop a different side of her. Worth noting that we had two weeks to build this up so the options were limited. Main Event was fun, I watched it muted because I wasn't at home so I can't comment on the commentary. Someone raised some questions about the ending on Discord but personally I liked it. Heel went for the chair and paid for it. I don't see the issue (?). Looking forward to the Lution title match.
  15. Thanks for the feedback as usual. I heard the feedback about my moveset and I absolutely agree with it, but that was not the moveset I used in the match, rather the one I had at the beginning of the season, got called out for it and changed it entirely. I simply never updated the caw on Xbox because I'm hardly ever booked there (still my fault). As you can see from the actual match, I used one combo and one duck under in total and it was a 35 minutes match
  16. Thank you for your work Mike, I appreciate it. I had the chance to be in the Point System committee and discuss this early, but now that I'm seeing it in action I'm not entirely sure on whether I should interpret this rankings as match quality, skill or overall showmanship. I'm guessing I got a lot of points because I used different moves, dives, springboards etc. but to be completely honest I didn't feel like my match was the best on the show. The two kickouts allowed me to get more points but didn't make much sense for a low card women's match. There were also other issues in the match that affected its overall quality imho. I still appreciate the feedback and the work you are doing, though.
  17. Back to the action intensifies
  18. Friendly reminder about FPR - Spamming the strike button while your opponent has the advantage in hopes of hitting them without wasting a reversal is against the rules. If they get you to no reversals, take the beating and wait for a reset. - Submsissions are resets. Regardless of whether you win or lose the minigame, you have to give space and engage again, especially if said submission was a ground one. - Always reset after a ground move. Kneeling is considered a grounded position. - You are allowed two knockdowns. Not three. - Moowalking out of range to prevent your opponent from following up their first knockdown is against the rules. Nobody likes getting called out publicly on the forums, I can understand that. Let's take 10 minutes of our day and watch our matches again. If any of these breaks happened let's make sure they don't happen again next week.
  19. Can't review matches cuz spoilers Easy to read show, reminded me of last season’s Turmoil which were short and straight to the point. Interesting Roleplay from Solomon, he's been consistent over the past few weeks. This time he blames Our Hero’s misspelling. Well you clearly haven't been on Discord enough. Also I was called “The” Valkyrie for my first 3 weeks so I understand. I appreciate your RP effort, even though I'm not a huge fan of the caw. It has a weird look to it, i don't even know how to explain it but it reminds me of a low poly GTA IV pedestrian for some reason. We have plenty of resources on Discord to help you out with a facial makeover though, just hit us up Same can be said for JT, he has been consistent with the RPs, which should be granted since this is a RP fed but it's not when it comes to rookies, that's why it's cool when they step up and put in work every week. He also jokes on the “I want to be Champion” attitude, which made me giggle. Good job Nic addresses the Otakru situation. Bray is definitely in the building tonight so it's finally time for a face to face confrontation. A ton of effort put in the Dragana Ace storyline. I'm probably not getting half of the references but this promo was simple enough to understand. The thing is Ace is spooky and wants Dragana to be her new partner in crime. Really liked the added fog effect, shows a lot of effort, same as the video promo as a whole. Interested to see where this goes. I love this new attitude from Empress! See, with a bit of positivity we can really make the world a better place for everybody. The official international Unicorn day is on the 9th of April, but nevermind, every day is the perfect day to celebrate the unicorns because they are fluffy and they are cool. Also what she said it's very true. Fairy Tales always have a Happy Ending. Good to see Code Jackman again. Where are you bro? Hope everything is fine IRL. I like how B17 and Code’s gimmick sorta match, because they are comedy heel and comedy face, which makes for some enjoyable segments like this one, even though there is a lot on the line (number one contendership I guess). Can't spoil the matches, but the idea of letting them choose their opponents, even though it has been done before, was interesting. Solid RP from Flojo. Gooch blurs the lines between kayfabe and Discord banter, which is a good thing when done properly, and puts Flojo over as a relatable underdog who is trying to find her own dimension in a stacked division (is it really stacked though? Doesn't seem like, judging by the actual RP output on shows). I hope Flojo doesn't have a busy schedule because she is going to receive a phone call from a special someone very soon. Third Rookie promo in a show, am I dreaming? Danny presents himself as some sort of humble baby face (?), willing to prove himself to the rest of the locker room. Good luck! Jehst is now facing some accusation concerning a relationship with Capo’s girlfriend. Which Capo’s girlfriend though? He was hitting on half of the female roster last season. Speaking of Capo, where is he? Anyway, Jehst says he is going to address this situation on Riot next week. We shall see. Oh no. Empress never really cared about the Unicorns. It was just a facade. Wow. How could you be so heartless? What did they do to you? Karma is a bitch. What goes around comes around. Usual effort from Jake, as he shows people how to manage alts. Sad not see Reese in this RP (nor on the show). But anyway, Tayy is watching the footage of his match over and over again trying to understand what went wrong. Better luck next time. Aaand Otakru collapses. I gotta say, I really, really like this new attitude from Bray. A heel gimmick that works flawlessly and it's fresh. But! This is also a great chance for Nic to really stand out and become more relevant. He has the moveset, a convincing over the top look and now he just needs a good storyline to shine and this could really be their chance. I'm interested to see what happens next week. It was an average bump, no idea why Drago is making such a big deal out of it. Are you trying to scam Dragana’s insurance to get money for a vacation? Come on. You are better than this. Also, yes, please let's have Dragana back in the active roster. We left two unbroken cell panels on top of the hiac, we need to go through them asap.
  20. I think B17 was referring to me being in multiple RPs at once (4 on this show) which is too much and I agree. The Parker one was written ages ago, I appreciate the effort of a Rookie reaching out and getting involved, plus I like both of his characters. We should've used the promo Room or Riot instead to avoid saturation. I was in the Belle x Blaine one because I noticed Belle sometimes doesn't write (completely understandable), either because of the language barrier or whatever and I wanted to help out because she is the number one contender and everything. In hindsight, I could've ghost written part of it without being actually involved. About Drago, I agree that often people sleep on his work, I legit hoped we were going to blow the roof of the arena this week but perhaps it's the Valkyrie curse of never being Motn or rpotn material or whatever. All I can say is that I wrote my first few lines then sent him the doc and went to the movies (Captain Marvel was awful btw). I got back and noticed two doc pages of Law shooting on Valkyrie. I've read it and it was just so perfect in so many ways, as if he knew exactly what was going on in my characters mind, her direction and everything even though I never told him what to write. That's what differentiates people that only care about their content and those who are truly active and informed, so big props to him.
  21. Read it again.
  22. The scene opens in Valkyrie apartment. She is sitting on her sofa as her friend Alyssa Winters is filming her with a smartphone, pretending to be some sort of journalist. Alyssa Winters: So…. H2O called you a narcissistic brat and kicked you out of Inception, the faction you two founded back in December. Valkyrie: Me and Harvey have been together since the start. He handpicked me when I was a Rookie and he's been my mentor ever since. He taught me everything I know about wrestling and OCW in general. Valkyrie : Last year, after Wrestlution was over, the doctors told me I wasn't going to be able to walk again. H2O saw something in me, he followed me through all the steps of my rehab and helped me become the wrestler I am today. Alyssa Winters: Oh, that's so sweet. Unfortunately something went wrong last week, though. Valkyrie: Originally it was just me and Harvey. Then Bobby and KD joined. H2O said we needed numbers to compete against Fame and TTT… as if he completely forgot how we destroyed Kasstianity together, just the two of us. Valkyrie: Then Fame took over Riot. That's when they started forcing me to compete in weird stipulations… Handicap matches, a Tables match against a dear friend of mine… Alyssa Winters: That sounds terrible! I am sure a true HERO would not stand for this injustice! Valkyrie: Right? That's what I thought! I refused to go through with the Tables match and sabotaged the Extreme Rules match they forced me to wrestle the week after. That's how I got suspended… Valkyrie: You know what H2O and the others did instead? Valkyrie: When the Riot 526 card went public, the first thing they said was “Guys, we can't throw this triple threat otherwise we are going to end up like Valkyrie”. Alyssa Winters: Are you kidding me? Valkyrie : I am not. That's literally what Harvey said in our locker room. Of course there will be consequences if you rebel against Fame. That's what friends are for! We are supposed to stand together! Valkyrie: Instead, I got tossed to the wolves, I turn around and H2O is no longer there by my side. He is in the back, playing nice, in hopes of getting another title shot he will choke. Alyssa Winters taps her cheek, acting as she was thinking about something. Alyssa Winters : Kassidy Hayes wrote this on his Twitter: “Go Valk Go! Valk is the best, Valk #1”. What a true gentleman! He surely knows how to treat women with RESPEK Valkyrie: Right? He is such a sweetheart. I mean, he did try to kidnap me and brainwash me last season, but perhaps it was just a big misunderstanding. Some people are socially awkward, but it's not their fault. Valkyrie: And now those two are going to fight? Alyssa Winters : Woah now that is going to be epic! Who are you going to cheer for? Valkyrie: The best possible outcome would be Kassidy low blowing Choke2O, this way the would both lose. But let's face it, Harvey has got no balls. The ref is not going to disqualify Kassidy if he hits him below the belt. Valkyrie and Alyssa burst out laughing. Then Valkyrie regains her composure and looks directly at the camera Valkyrie: You know what, Harvey? I was out of place in Inception anyway, that's because I win matches, unlike you three clowns. Valkyrie: And I'm going to tell you another thing. I'm not afraid of being on my own. I don't need you anymore. The question now is: are you sure you don't need me? The stream ends.
  23. Big thanks to the #FreeValk squad. I appreciated it, both in character and out of character. I won't forget this
  24. Random thoughts (I review the show, you don’t review my English) The Hospital RP was a great follow up to Drago and Mugen's heel turn from last week. You can really feel for the babyface Spoder as he was brutally attacked by those savages for no reason. I hope he gets his revenge soon Kassidys RP was truly flattering. I've read it multiple times and he's got a point. It's really hard to find something wrong in what he said. It's comforting to know that TTT has got my back Uncrowned were on fire on this episode and the fact that they won't be fighting for the belts at the PPV Is kinda heartbreaking but that shouldn't demotivate them as they easily showed everyone why they are championship material and they should get another shot soon Telos’ RP started off as some sort of Rookie shoot promo about championships but then it turned out to be a well written segment after the first few lines. Not sure how far you three want to take this but it was an effective way of showing each characters’ gimmick. Don't listen to Moore, that's eye shadow. I never touched her. Dupree's RP was short and sweet just like H2O's. I liked both but I felt you/we could've done a little bit more with this whole TTT/Inception/Fame storyline with more coordination between the “factions”. Quartz/Pugh and me/Jay kinda tried to work towards that direction but still. I find P3's roleplays a bit confusing, probably because I don't get the pop culture references most of the time (or because I’m not in hoot chat). I get that all of the wrestling 101 angles have already been played out to death, though, and you want to do something you enjoy, that's perfectly fine. Don’t attack me in the backstage like you did to Spoder because of this review. A lot of effort put in the Bray/TLB video RP even though the alignment game was a bit off with Nick blindsiding TLB and Bray seizing the opportunity (isn't TLB a heel?). That said it was still easily one the best segment on the show for effort and overall quality, so that doesn't matter. Good job A LOT of words from Bobby, three roleplays in total. He pushes his angle with Fame/Management further, as they are keeping him away from active competition and forcing him to do these miscellaneous activities. I don't mind the length when the content is quality, but I'm not sure the others feel the same way. Even though I understand that for some handlers writing is the most fun aspect of OCW and I fully respect that (I'm one of them). Quartz and Rust were also involved in multiple segments, pretty much every page. The highlight for me was probably the the last RP, the one inside Quartz’s mind because it reminded me of the Phoenix one from last summer. But it’s worth noting that Rust is doing a good job at being consistent with his alt Aisu Sensation: “Guys, I want to be involved in more programs come Season 14” Also Sensation “There’s an intergender Valkyrie caw playable online? Let’s suspend her, I don’t want to get those hands” Tre and Cobra are a hilarious duo and the rp was really funny. It goes to show how you can get over regardless of your w/l ratio as long as you are consistent with your written content and have a gimmick that works. Edit: I forgot about the Flojo bit. I'm not sure whether Gooch or Bray wrote it (my guess is Bray because it was about their storyline), either way it was really unsettling and it got me intrigued since in my opinion it perfectly nailed Ace's strange persona. Edit2: It was indeed Gooch who wrote it. I got tricked by the way it was written. My apologies
