Don't forget. I have a front row seat to this weeks show. That alone increases the Awesomeness level.

That's right. It's Eddie F'n Allen. A gawd Damned ICON....... of professional wrestling. I was looking at the roster of OCW, and I see some names I know and I see some I don't know, but for the most part it looked pretty slim! So I decided I would do the OCW a solid and bring my undenaible talent back to professional wrestling. You think you know Eddie Allen? You think I'm just gonna stand around and tell you that I'm awesome and throw my hands in some silly pose? Maybe breathing in deeply as I hold the pose to help calm myself as well as sell my awesomeness? To tell you the truth, that is exactly what I would do, if the Mizz had not stolen it from me a few months ago. I don't follow trends, I set them. When I'm ready, I'll get over, and once I'm over, the title reign of the OCW champion will be over! So I'm going to hit the gym, get myself some darkmatches in, maybe buy a new pair of ring entrance sunglasses for my inevitable return to glory. If the new GM of Riot want to speak with me personally, I understand. I'll be around, I've got myself a ticket to Japan, and I plan on being front row, more awesome than the rising sun, the gawd damned ICON.......of OCW. (_0_)

On the Road with Eddie Allen by Sharon Peters Former OCW superstar Eddie Allen has found a new calling. After spending the last few years getting tossed around the OCW ring by the likes of Tyro Kraven and Versus, Allen has embarked on a new journey, that of a Rock and Roll star. The smooth singing Allen recently formed the band ICONO, and has been touring the country for the last few months to promote their first cd, “The Man with the Chair”. We were able to chat with Allen as his band prepared for their latest gig. Peters: What made you decide to hang up the boots and embark on this new journey? Allen: \_0_/ Peters: Uhh, what are you doing? Allen: (Breathes in) Being awesome. Peters: Well your doing a good job, your first CD, Man with the Chair, has sold 36 copies worldwide, did you expect such a positive reaction on your first project? Allen: \_0_/ Peters: With the success of this project, it is rumored that a 2nd CD is already in the works, care to comment? Allen: (slowly drops hands and breathes in) My musical talent is far too important to not release another CD. It would be unfair to the rest of the world. Peters: We have heard that some of your former colleagues at OCW have sat in and played with your band at a few tour stops, are there any other OCW superstars that could have pulled off the same cross-over success that you have enjoyed? Allen: Absolutely not. I am where I am today because I’m more Awesome than anybody. Just because your jamming with me does not mean your on my level! Peters: It seems like the world is at your feet, you have gained many fans with this cross-over project. Many people wonder if your wrestling career is truly over. You are such a young man, Any plans on a return to OCW? Allen: There was a time when I needed OCW. It was my only identity. I lived to be in that ring competing. Now, I’m a self made superstar. I sell out shows worldwide. I don’t need OCW. OCW needs me! With all the new blood in OCW, and all the old school guys leaving the company, I’m the biggest superstar they have, and I’ve not been in a ring in months. Peters: So you think..... Allen : (interrupting) Could you imagine the buy-rates of an OCW PPV if I agreed to sing AND wrestle on the same night? Peters: I guess it would be.... Allen: (interrupting) It would be the biggest event of the year. That is why OCW needs me. Listen, its been nice talking to you, but it’s over. I can’t put any more strain on my vocal chords by answering your silly questions. Get out!!! After my brief interview with Eddie Allen, I came away impressed with his confidence. The show later that night was incredible. Allen has the iinsane ability to switch musical genres like no other artist before. The only question is will he continue down this Rock and Roll path, or return back to his roots and compete in the OCW once more? I think many fans would love to see both.

Kage was my first buddy here in ocw, he trained me on my fpr and has always been someone who I look to for advise and guidance. take it easy

My favorite part of this thread is how kip keeps complaining about the beating he took cause Recon no showed. I guess if Recon had shown it would have been a different story? Its not hard to find a filler is someone no shows. I tripped over two fillers on my way to this thread.

WTF is up with this noob douche bag, Kip Conrad, bitching about being booked against a HOF'er. Things happen in the grown up world sometimes ( like defending your gawd damned country) and people miss bookings. I'm sure if you did an OCW wide poll, you would find that a vast majority of us have had to scramble to find a replacement, stayed up until the wee hours just to tape some match with someone who lives across the fucking world, or some other hassle to just to get a match in. Get over yourself and start worring about how much of a tool shed your gonna look like when that "no show" shows up and folds your ass.

Smythe is right, his rookie campaign was tough, he was taking on all the big guys. Back then, OCW did not have as many Rookie Showcase Matches as we do now. So a lot of the times Rooks got passed around like the new meat they were. I started my career with AJ Phoenix (and he "mortal kombat" stole my glasses) Guy Fausto (who refused to chinlock me, guess he knew I was a little too awesome), Poison, Versus, then The Steve's return match in 07. 0-5 to start. It was fun, but I was glad when I finally got to take on the Green Rookie, Big Joe D...what ever happened to that guy? I hear 08 is a different story than 07, So I can't wait until I see where I stand against all this new blood and the old timers.

David Jackson's Shoot Statement About His Release From OCW
Eddie Allen replied to David Jackson's topic in Promo Room!

AHHH I see. I planned on just wearing my ***** mask and walk around Halloween night stumbling over my lines and chinlocking random children when I need a breather.

I dont get it.

damn only 4 matches, seems like the old 2 show format. I bet we will have alot of RP reading to do next monday

I know Kage, that is what I was saying. I was going to do the same outcome, he offered to let the chips fall as they may. We did not tape the 2nd match, but his offer was a classy thing to do, as we all know that terrible lag can mess with even the best of ocw superstars. I would not have let him submit a match of me winning after he won the original match, I know the score around here.
-
I just wanna give a big thanks to Smythe, he showed me he truly is a good guy. The match we had was laggy as hell ( My internet is still fuuuuked from the bad weather) but he offered to retape it right after the match to see if we could get better lag. I would have taped another match and have the same outcome, but he was down to just tape it and pretend the first match did not happen. For a guy on a losing streak, on a show that was not even his, to offer to retape a match that he won, when he needed a win badly, showed me alot of character. The whole show was great. Carlos Cruz has stepped up to the plate in the last few month. I must say that I was rooting my ass off for leon over deano, but I guess you know why.. Heaton..ERR Gameaton never stops making me laugh, Its had to believe that a show with no MMM, versus, teh steve, was able to kick this much ass. Great Job ccw.

Yeah we all get it, this is the last I'll say on it. I think that if you ever feel the need to replace someone 1-2 days before the deadline, you should pm them as soon as the replacement match is done. I understand that I have some fault here, I understand that I should have pm'd deano on saturday and not waited until Sunday. I knew he was a euro, but I figured we still had time, and I thought if there was a problem getting the match done in the next 48 hours, he would have let me know. He did not, but I could have made an effort that saturday. And for the record, when i sit down at the xbox for my next match, and if my opponent is not online, I will tape a replacement that night so that I am not the one empty handed next go around.
