Trevor McManus Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 *As the shot comes to focus we see the outside of a martial arts gym. A motorcycle pulls up outside and OCW superstar Trevor McManus dismounts and makes his way inside. The shot follows him.* *In the hallway of the gym Trevor turns to the camera.* Trevor: Hi there OCWFED.COM, I understand that you’ve been looking for me the past few days. I had some...business to take care of, you'll see the product of it on Riot. But today I'm here for a workout again, lets hope we actually get through it this time. *Trevor points to the door they have stopped at.* Trevor: Got to go get changed again, you know the procedure. *Trevor goes in to the room. While waiting for him to re-emerge the camera catches a few gym members going back and forth. The camera man spots the same young man that he met in the last visit to Trevor's gym.* Camera man: Hey, you're Frank Johnson right? *The young man immediately acknowledges the camera and walks over.* Young Man: Yeah. You're that OCWFED guy that was following Trevor around. You should have been here the past few days, he's been a beast since that day you came before. Camera man: Really? Young Man: Yeah, it's like watching him two years ago when I first joined and wanted to be like him. Something's got under his skin I know that much but it's having a great effect on him. Camera man: What's he been doing if you don't mind me asking? Young Man: He's been pumping the weights like he did back in the day. Getting stronger and make more durable. It's crazy how much he's changed in under a week, but I guess your muscles are smart, they remember what they used to be like and they get back quickly. Camera man: So, could he take you in a weight lifting contest now? Young Man: Well I'm not sure about that but he'd last longer than he did last week that's for sure. I'm gonna shoot and change for my workout, see you and Trevor down there. *Frank walks past the camera and up to the door of the changing room, Trevor opens the door and walks out past him.* Trevor: Hey Frank. *Trevor turns his focus to the camera.* Trevor: Right, lets go do this. Camera man: What’s on the agenda for today Trevor? *Trevor frowns.* Trevor: I still find it weird that a camera man is talking. Trevor: We’re going to do some heavy lifting today. Low reps but high weights. Need to get some size and strength, guys in the heavyweight division aren't like they used to be. The days of Karim and Vega are over, when you're dealing with Mayhem, you gotta get big. *The camera follows Trevor along to the end of the corridor, round the corner and down the steps in to the huge open plan gym.* Trevor: Right lets get over to those weights and get this thing done. Want to do this as fast as possible, I've got someone I need to see. Camera Man: That's right I was going to ask you about that house we seen you go in to before, after the last training day, we haven't seen you since then. Trevor: I didn't go in to a house, you must be mistaking me with another Trevor McManus that rides a motorcycle and works for OCWFED. Camera Man: No I'm sure... *Trevor frowns at the camera man* Trevor: Take the hint. *Trevor walks over to the area where we had his weight lifting competition with Frank on episode one of A Week In The Life.* Trevor: Just going to do a couple of the lifts that me and Frank done on the last episode. *Trevor picks up a bar which is weighted to the same degree as the one he almost dropped during his contest with Frank.* Trevor: You wanna see the progress a champion can make in under a week? *Trevor lifts the bar straight up over his head and brings it slowly back down again. He repeats this five times and slowly drops the weight to the floor.* Trevor: Easy stuff. Lets take it up a notch. *Trevor sticks two more weights on their side of the bar.* Trevor: Lets truely test my limits. *Trevor picks it up and repeats the exercise five more times before slowly lowering it back to the floor.* Camera Man: That is very impressive progress for under a week. We might have to test you under the wellness policy. *The camera man chuckles.* Trevor: We don't actually have one of those do we? *There's an awklward silence.* Trevor: I mean if Mayhem can get through then... *After another awkward silent moment Trevor bursts out laughing.* Trevor: I'm screwing with you. I would never touch the stuff. And, frankly, I'm offended you took me seriously. *A voice is heard off camera.* Frank: Did you say my name Trevor? Trevor: No, I said Frankly. Frank: Well I'm here now. Why not have another little contest for the folks, show them your progress? Trevor: If you can lift that thing then I'll give you a hundred bucks. *Frank smugly struts over to the bar and lifts it very slowly, he wobbles a little as his does. He presses it above his head and drops it to the floor.* Frank: You owe me a hundred bucks. Trevor: I'll give it to you when I'm leaving, you'll need it to pay the chiropractor. *Frank sits down on the floor as Trevor picks the bar back up. Trevor turns to the camera with the bar in his hands.* Trevor: I'm just gonna wrap this up. See you on Riot OCWED. *As Trevor starts to press the bar above his head again the shot fades out to black and the OCWFED.COM logo appears on the screen.* 2 http://positivesharing.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/complaining.jpg [23:39] locoNY911: You get solace in the fact you arent a fuck up. 2k9's better than 2k8.
