Bear Rico Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 [The camera fades in] The camera pans a room, filled with exercise equipment. Treadmills, stair climbers, bikes, benches, weight assist machines, and what could be 100s of free weights and dumbbells. Faintly the camera picks up sounds of metal slamming together, once, twice, three times, getting faster, four five six, louder, seven eight, grunting is now being hear, nine ten, eleven, twelve, the sound of metal crashing to the floor. The camera is now moving, searching for the source of the sounds, now it picks up a new sound, music, Eminem possibly. Now we see him, not an old man, but aged, lived a long 27years. Bald except for a mohawk of short hair that runs from forehead to neck. Small strands of facial hair line his cheeks. Sweat beats down his forehead, his scarred eye and cheeks, down his neck, over his hole body, every wear dripping. He's been here a while it would seem. The headphones are blaring into his ears, he doesn't even seem to notice the camera. He wipes the sweat from his face and picks the weights back up. Slamming them upwards he does one more set of 12 dumbbell press. The weights fall again, he takes a deep breath. Bear is now staring at himself, himself in the classic wall of mirrors found inside every gym. Bear knows he has been great at what he has gotten him to this point, but he knows he can also be so much greater, so much more. He knows he must continue, he must keep working, because the time is coming closer. He's lived his whole life behind the curtains, never taking applause for the things he has done, but now the time has come for him to step outside the curtain, into the loudness of screaming wrestling fans that he was once just like. Time for him to show his greatness to the World. Bear smiles, he begins to nod his head to the rhythm of "Til I Collapse" by Eminem, he lifts the weights from the floor and begins again... 4
