Tag match between Jackson Montgomery and Mugen vs.

Kassidy Hayes and Dennis Black

From the beginning of this match I didn’t know what to expect. In my very limited time at OCW, all of these wrestlers have been amongst The Who’s Who talks of the OCW. My immediate first impressions of this match between Unhinged and TTT is that it felt like these guys were going to beat the crap out of each other one way or another. Each opponent seemed very well matched. I have to point out the Jackson Montgomery took the worst end of the assault while it was controlled to the ring. Not to say that he was the weakest link. I in fact think he is very rugged and someone you do not want to brawl with much 1 on 1, but it was obvious that he was slowed down towards the pinnacle of the match as both teams tired out.

Mugen reminded me of M. Bison from the Street Fighter series. Boasting both brawn and swiftness in the ring, it was apparent that he was about business. Other than his disco ball style entrance with hella Schwag, he really proved to be a powerhouse throughout the match. Likewise, at times I felt Dennis Black was unmatched, but then heavily contested in others. I don’t think this was the height of Dennis Black’s capabilities in the ring, but he definitely held it down for his team.

Regardless, while I still felt the “Blek” brand of wrestling, I feel he blended in more in This clash of Titans. Furthermore, I’m not quite sure why Kassidy would throw the match when he and Dennis seemed to be winning it. Regardless, the backstage brawl between Kassidy and Mugen was insane. There definitely must be some bad blood between the two as they both performed various assaults on one another. The back and forth massacre left me wondering if this feud could get nastier in the upcoming season. I guess we will see at Chill Faktor tomorrow night.

Cort Marshall VS. H20

Earlier on Cort Marshall was outmatched by H20. I had the move count matched at 13-5 within the first 3 mins of the match. Towards the middle of the match the two broke even as Cort Marshall got his momentum back a bit. However H20 had the edge throughout this match. I absolutely love the push-ups that Colt does after pounding his opponent, and towards the end of the match he really started to put it down on H20. The speed and luchador style of wrestling by H20 kept him in it for most of the match, but the brawler style wrestling by Colt was the smoking gun at the end. Shout out to Colt for the Comeback.

Big Ed v Ragnarath

I was really excited to see the Big Ed and Rag match. Mostly because I like to root for the underdog and Rag is def that if we are judging the size of these two wrestlers. Just as I thought, Ed came out with a few power moves that quickly rung out Rag earlier on. At one point a big boot of Ed connected to Rag's face and I thought I saw the lights flicker in the building, as Ed was channeling his inner Apollo and laying down the thunderstorm of attacks on Rag. Regardless; i have to tip my hat to Rag who still was able to break pin falls even in the deep grey area of the match. This youngster would go down easily and still managed to pull of some moves towards the end of his life expectancy. He will be someone to watch over the next year of Turmoil. #salute

Austin Lee V Shephard V Seb

I can't wait to see this match at Chill Faktor. I think this was a pretty evenly matched card until Seb came in and laid down the open hands. I will def need to check out their Title match at Chill Faktor. Just as I was getting into the match in comes Seb laying down a Holy Grail of open hand slaps as if he were disciplining his only children. This should be a fun one to see at Chill Faktor.

B17 v Wreck

When I hear B17 I automatically think of some nuclear missile about to be set off.

The truth is, the wrestler often times has an arsenal of missile style flying attacks that mimic that sentiment. Earlier on he had the edge against Wrex, but the resiliency of Wrex allowed him to get back in the match swiftly. The two began using lots of quick counter moves and reversals and it seemed they were evenly matched throughout the duration of the match, at times performing the same counters. At one point later in the match Wrex acquired the upper hand and I was shocked to see B17 go down so fast which has been unusual of the wrestler thus far since I have studied him. It was a great match but I wished it was much longer. We will see Wrex go after the North American Championship tomorrow evening vs. Bill Ding. Should be an very interesting match. http://i63.tinypic.com/302p7ch.jpg

Sakomoto V CJ O'donnell

You know I like both of these wrestlers, they seem entirely fun and just have a bunch of energy. Sakomoto reminds me of what Mr. Miyagi may have been like as a kid. (Laughs) His energy and charismatic character keeps me on edge while watching his matches. Unfortunately, he ran into a drunk Irishman who was well rehearsed this match. CJ performed move after move, counter after counter earlier on. He left little room for Sak to attack. At one point, CJ seems to have let off the gas and Sak took advantage of this. It allowed for Sak to regain some momentum. Nonetheless, CJ battled back and looked very promising through the entire match. One thing is for sure, you do not want to get into a running attack battle with Sak. He is too quick...Likewise CJs grapple/reversal game is very good, looks like he won the battle of the top rope moves. Congrats to him on the win to end the bad luck streak.

Billy Piper vs Cheryl Stixx

I always get excited when I see the women’s matches. Nothing better than two gorgeous women wrestlers hashing it out in the ring. I always sit and pray that a nip slip occurs.(lol) Regardless I was highly entertained by this match as the two wrestlers showed off their move sets to the crowd. Both wrestlers equally assaulted each other. Piper appears to be much stronger in the upper body and Cheryl in the lower. Cheryl’s high flying ability was awesome. The two were just so evenly matched and for now (and being im new) I am happy to be able to enjoy the matches from an unbiased standpoint.

I really was rooting for whoever came to fight!! I was on edge every minute of this fight. There was no down time (except when the ref was getting dropped kicked multiple times). The power of these ladies led me to believe that both had spent a lot of time in the gym. Towards the end Cheryl started to gain the upper hand and I was waiting patiently for her finisher to be performed. Cheryl did a backwards somersault off the top rope which should have been the end of the match but the resiliency of Piper allowed her to kick out. She followed up by a big time spear move a couple of head buster moves, some kind of suplex move, but it wasn't enough for Cheryl who pinned her moments later. This was a great match and I hope to see more from the two.

Dennis: Madison wants you to do everything in your power to soften Mugen up. Get yourself disqualified. Break him. We’ll handle the rest at the start of the new year.

Kassidy: …..

Madison groans loudly, already annoyed at the situation.
