Live From Another Timeline Part III

[H20_]

H2O wakes up out of a good night sleep. He hears Heather talking on the phone to someone. She turns her head slightly to see if H2O is awake but he shuts his eyes quickly and pretends to still be asleep.

 

Heather turns back around to continue her call.

 

Heather: Yes, I’ve stayed with him all night...I’ve kept my eyes on him as requested….

 

Some words are spoken back to her but is inaudible. H2O can not tell who she’s talking to. Heather turns around fully and looks over towards Harvey as he lies there motionless.

 

Heather: Just before he fell asleep I told him that I’m willing to help him. Even after everything he Valkyrie has done…..

 

Heather: ….Yes, he was shocked. But I reminded him he’s in 2020 not 2018….

 

The unknown caller talks for a minute to Heather as her body language looks a bit irritated. Her stance becomes shifty.

 

Heather: (Sighs) ...Don’t worry. I’ll send him back to his place before your friend changes the course of history.

 

Heather: But how are we going to get Ocean back?

 

Scene changes from the hospital to a dark room with a even a darker silhouette of a man is standing next to a tall window.

 

He is peeking outside from the side of the curtain. The camera focuses only on portion of his face, lips and chin.

 

The voice is unrecognizable cause it’s from another timeline! We don’t know who it is dammit!

 

???: Don’t you worry about that. Listen….

 

???: ...I know this won’t change the hurt he has caused you. But we cannot let him carry out his plan. Show him where the time machine is and send him on his way.

 

H2O: Who’s that?

 

The unknown caller looks at the phone. He then ends the call and pulls away from the curtain.

 

Scene changes back to the hospital.

 

Heather: That was Baker.

 

H2O squints his eyes. He’s unsure if this timeline’s version of Heather is as diabolical as his current.

 

H2O: Why hasn’t he come visit me yet?

 

Heather: He’s been busy defending his OCW World Lightheavyweight Title. You remember how that is don’t you?

 

Heather kneels down to grab H2O’s personal items he came into the hospital with.

 

H2O: Remember? I’m still The OCW Lightheavyweight Champion in my time.

 

Heather pauses for a moment. She just raises an eyebrow and grabs the last of his things and hands it to him.

 

Heather: Here. Put your stuff on. As much as I don’t want to help you; I’m going to get you home.

 

H2O: How? That Harvey guy took it back to wherever!

 

Heather: That machine is from your timeline. Ever think that there’s one from this timeline?

 

H2O: Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!

 

H2O puts on his last boot and makes his way out of the hospital room to call for an elevator. All the nurses on the floor are watching H2O leave and are confused to what’s going on.

 

Heather drags her feet a bit and sends a text message to the unknown caller that the plan is in motion.

 

Heather looks up from her phone and stares back at all the nurses.

 

Heather: Say one word of this to anyone and all I have to do is make one call.

 

Heather holds up her phone and all the nurses nervously looks away from her as if they were getting back to work. But in actuality they’re afraid and don’t want her to make the call.

 

Heather: ….and if he finds out that I’m not really a nurse now just remember I have all of your names and profiles right here.

 

Heather points to her phone and swipes it to the right showing each and every one of their faces.

 

H2O yells from a distance.

 

H2O: HEATHER! LET’S GO! C’MON! ELEVATOR IS HERE!

 

Heather closes her phone and puts it in the front pocket of her smock. She smiles to the nurses as she walks away and hops on the elevator with Harvey.

 

H2O attempts to push the button for the lobby but Heather grabs his hand away from the controls.

 

She presses the button for the morgue.

 

Harvey looks over to Heather and she pulls out the controls for Mugen’s Time Machine.

 

Heather: We don’t have to go far, Harvey...I mean H2O.

 

The elevator doors close as the scene fades.
