I see what you're saying about the benefits and detriments of Discord. It's actually one of the first things that crossed my mind when you helped me log back into OCW. You had to turn the OCW chat off during some events because members would talk about the shows on the chat room, and not the posted thread.... so it would look like no one watched or commented.

Sometimes it just comes to finding new ways to use a tool (giggidy). I like how you have the "announcements" channel.... I think that can be used to guide members who are strictly DISCORD to find discussions... instead of missing out or having to search.

So, just like you use it to post SHOWS and LIVE EVENTS, it could probably be used more for DISCUSSIONS as well. Or maybe have temporary channels for such discussions and then remove them after a few weeks or a month.
