theSolomonCaine Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 OCWFed.com Exclusive | Cincinatti, Ohio | 1:00PM EST After intense negotiations with the Cincinatti Freeze and the NFL that lasted weeks, TE Harris Turner has rejected all offers and instead signed a contract with Online Championship Wrestling. Turner's performance on the field made him a key player on the Cincinatti Freeze, with nearly 50 receiving yards per game. His performances also gave him an appropriate nickname: "Roughhouse." When asked about the negotiations, agent Bob Klein stated that Harris "needed to get away and try something different," adding that "he's been a wrestling fan since he was a kid." At 6'3" and 248 lbs., the former Tight End has a physically intimidating presence and intense athletic background that is sure to serve him well in the world of professional wrestling. Before his career in professional football, the Freeze superstar entered into The Gallery wrestling school at the age of 17 in his junior year of high school. However, his football and academic obligations became too much to handle and he dropped out shortly after. Turner would later go on to be chosen in the NFL draft in 2018 by the Portland Monsters and traded to the Cincinatti Freeze in 2020. The new signing is expected to begin training at the OCW Performance Center as soon as tomorrow. Reports from lead coaches at the Performance Center say that Turner has been phenomenal in preliminary sessions, and some inside sources believe his debut may be just on the horizon if progress continues at the same pace. OCWFed.com welcomes Harris Turner, and wishes him well in his upcoming career. 6 Solomon Caine, Harris Turner, and Roy Brown 1x CCW International Champion, as Solomon Caine 1x OCW Light Heavyweight Champion, as Solomon Caine 2nd Place, 2021 S-Cup Tournament, as Harris Turner http://ocwfed.tv/miscpics/Kass_event_badge_2020.png
