I really dug the first RP with VFM and The Steve. The usual roid-rage-induced rantings accompanied by over the top threats are nowhere to be found. It's just an entertaining conversation piece set against an interesting backdrop. Reminding me of the simple joy I get when reading a novel or watching an indy film with heavy dialogue. It was a nice change of pace for RIOT. Speaking of indy... don't forget to catch Indy Live VI: Dec. 27th, 1PM (est). b :) d

The Justice Vespa did make me wonder what ever happened to Scoot Scoot though.

Although I really, really enjoy the WWE Title storyline, I sometimes worry that the WWE will retaliate in some way... like maybe not allow OCW to create their own titles in SvR2009 or something -_-

Either way, congrats to Cooper for not only retaining the hideous WWE Championship, but also for doing it in a dominating performance.

Match with Vega: Vega mentioned he was going to put the 2006 video in there and I'm glad he did. Brought back some fun memories. Not only did Vega make that masterpiece of editorial finesse, but he made it during a time when Americans could not yet play against Euros online. I sent him Mad Mike's CAW formula and the fucker made him from scratch just for that video. Sure, a few things were a little off, but you have to admire his effort and attention to detail. Good stuff.

As for the match itself, we actually had to restart once, because his CAW didn't load properly. I still don't believe it loaded correctly the second time around either, but I guess Vega took consideration of my work hours and just let it roll. I know Lightheavies bruse easy, but he seemed to collect damage easier than expected.

None the less, the match came out well, with allot of reversals and back n' forth. That elbow drop was for you, Parker. Ooooooo yeaaaaaaah.

Vimes goes "film noir" on us with deep poetic thoughts flowing from his brain like a river of dirty water. A sad stream of hopelessness, trickling over rocks... forged of regret. Will he ever find the fleeting Fausto? Fuck if I know.

The RP reminded me of The Watchmen, which I recently re-read. I was expecting Vimes to say something like: OCW will look up and shout "Find him!" and I'll whisper, "Meh."

Before VFM and The Steve throw down, they break it down. They make some pretty provocative statements concerning Indy Live 6. Oh that's right, Titles and Contendorship will be up for grabs, people - something Leon is familiar with :P They do a good job of getting me hyped for the show, so I'm hoping I can make it. The biggest announcement has to be the promise of Boxing Jesus. Float like a messiah, sting like the wrath of God.

Anyone else feel like a smoke break for some reason?

Damn, Kip is on fire this week. As commentators would say, it's always good to head into a PPV with momentum. Too bad momentum doesn't mean a pile of beans when you're up againist The Bloodline. Still.... Prop 8 is a pretty good Tag Team name lol.

The last match was actually a pretty damn good way to end the year. In fact the entire show was a good way to end the year. Like a good season finale, it stays familier but lets you know the next season will open a whole new can of worms. The status quo is left unbalanced, mysteries are left unsolved and debts are left unpaid. There is only one question you should be asking... are you ready for 2009? That, and is it weird to wear a belt with tights?
