Why do you keep saying that this wasn't directed at me? I know damn well it wasn't directed at me. Just because I disagree with this doesn't mean I'm taking what jay said personal.

 

What I do have a problem with censorship. If people don't like what is being said to them, there's a little thing called the 'ignore list'. I use it and it works quite well.

This whole thing was not directed at you Steve. I know me personally I have seen the change it attitude here from when I joined until now. At the start people kept everything backstage. Then eventually when someone messed up it was brought up and that person would get shat on. But now it seems like people are going off just for the sake of doing it. Everything doesn’t have to be done in a disrespectful manner.

 

The other night we were in a chat and a rook from who came over from the other place was talking to one of our vets. The conversation goes on and the vet tells the rookie something to the tune of, “you have to prove your worth a crap, and I’m am going to give you shit until you learn to take it”. Not those exact words but something to that tune. I can not remember that being the norm when I came in, when Guy, or even you came in. The rook hasn’t done anything but gets verbally abused for no reason that just isn’t right. THis is not that he was from the other place but just vet to rook in general.

 

Double A didn’t like what Ryder said in that thread about giving an excuse for losing. Now I was pretty disgusted with AA’s reply to Ryder. I understood what Double A was saying but the words used could have been differently to get the same point across. In this thread Double A even said sorry for the way he said it. No ones saying keep your opinions to yourself but if someone doesn’t deserve to be verbally abused then come about it respectfully.

 

Everyone needs to just drop themselves down a peg and come at each other respectfully unless actions warrant coming at someone in another manner.

Anyway, back in the day, people talked shit behind people's backs. Now, it's all out in the open for everybody to see. I'd rather find out for myself right then and there if someone had a problem with me so I could put them on my ignore list as opposed to finding out a week later that someone was talking shit behind my back (which actually just happened to me recently).

 

People need to grow a fuckin' backbone and be able to take it or use the ignore list. When done to rooks, it's weeds out the weak. Let's take Nick and the guys from the other fed......he gave shit to everybody and what happened? The fuckin' losers took off and the winners stuck it out and are now accepted.

 

We are big enough to where we can afford to weed out the idiots and keep the guys who want to be here. If people want the touchy-feely good time crap, OCW need to lose half the roster to make it small again.

I missread what you said in the post above about it not being about you. Sorry for that. But why should it be ok to be disrespectful? Who's to say someone who dosn't want to deal with disrespectful comments that aren't warranted can't be a good addition to the fed? I know personally if I was treated like that when I got here I wouldn't have stayed.

If you notice, not all rooks get that sort of treatment. A fresh rook more than likely isn't going to get shit unless he fucks up first. In the case of the guys from the other fed, we've had a long history of hate....how could you not expect some people to not accept them with open arms?
