Trevor McManus Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 *Trevor McManus and his business associates are huddled together behind the same conference table we seen yestarday before Riot.* Trevor: Trying to get in to the building today I was swamped by more people asking me thing about OCW. I'm willing to bet that none of those reporters are going to ask anything about the business. Trevor: Gentlemen I'm sorry to say that we're just going to have to accept that we can't conduct a meaningful business public relations meeting while I'm in the high profile position that I am. Trevor: I'm just going to have to take questions on OCW related matters and hope someone eventually gets to business talk. *They all take their seats at the table.* Trevor: Greetings once again members of the press. I am hopeful that we can get some business related matter on the agenda today but I fear that is all to optomistic. Trevor: I regret to concede that I will be answering OCW related questions today because I will not continue to try to avoid them, like drawing blood from a stone. Dave Shutton: Trevor, yestarday I asked you if your position as number one contender is credible while the loss to Smythe was hanging over you. On Riot you said this situation would die down and your position would be in no doubt. But it seems to me that with the future investment holder pinning the man that beat you, that puts you in third place does it not? Trevor: I will point first to the fact that I defeated Jacob Trance on Riot and that my standing as number one contender is based off my achievements and not the standing of respective opponents. Trevor: Secondly, the position of the future investment holder is entirely up to him. He could be first in line, all he needs to do is cash that clause before I get my title shot. If he choses not to do this then I am firm in my belief that the OCW staff will not grant him a title shot while he still holds the clause. Scott Thomson: Do you feel that with the recent path of destruction carved by the returning Parker Stevens, he could be in line for a title opportunity? Trevor: Let me make one thing perfectly clear to you. You get the title shot through your standing with the fans and your competitive record. Not by committing assault on your fellow professionals. All I have seen from Parker is assaults, nothing there to warrant a title shot. Scott Thomson: A follow up question, if I may. Do you feel at all threatened by Parker considering what we seen him to do Versus and Guy Fausto on Riot? It seems that he's going through Leon's opposition at an alarming rate and sooner or later, that road leads to you. Trevor: I am confident in my ability to thwart any such attack. Scott Thomson: But... Trevor: You've had your question. Billy Maman: Do you think it's reasonable to assume that when comparing both of your performances against Jacob Trance, it is safe to say that your chances against Mayhem are not looking good? Trevor: Jacob Trance is always a tough opponent, as is anyone in OCW, they wouldn't be here otherwise. And against me he always give a fight. I cannot speak for Jacob in terms of his performance against Mayhem but I can say that in general terms everyone has an off night and everyone can turn in a bad shit...except Nate of course. Trevor: I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen but we're out of time for this morning. Any of you that actually are interested in the business can come to the AGM at... *The shot fades out as Trevor gets to business talk.* http://positivesharing.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/complaining.jpg [23:39] locoNY911: You get solace in the fact you arent a fuck up. 2k9's better than 2k8. Like being shot in the knee is better than being shot in the head. - Guy Fausto [18:40] locoNY911: I mostly aggree with your statements
