yeah smythe but the point is he goes about setting things up in the wrong way. maybe if he did things the right way he would be put in the situations he seems to be wanting. like real wreslting we kinda decide feuds and storylines before they start and you talk about it with the people involved. you dont just go out shoot on someone and expect a part in the feud, all its gonna do is make you look dumb cuz you will be ignored and your words will be overlooked and they will just make you seem weaker and a non-threat in the end. plus mayhem has a history of doing this shit in ocw, 2 people have a storyline and he butts in by not asking if he can join he goes over their heads and gets involved (gm's are at fault for allowing as well) he then ruins the feud. well that shit aint happening any time soon. if mayhem wanted to work an angle with me he should talk to me, figure out what my plans are see if it can happen and until it can you hold off on your comments or me and him decide how i can go from one feud to another involving him. instead he just says what he wants and digs a deeper hole for himself as someone most wont work with. again mayhem is cool as shit outside of OCW its just in OCW his vision is a bit warped on how things work.

HOLY CRAP! jones vs rookies man can jones take a beating. in typical jones fashion the guy can wrestle he just cant win. good match though, poe and vin were lucky to work with jones their FPR is good and they are fitting in nicely. i was pulling for steve when he made that comeback but i can see vin and poe becoming a tag team after this. AA vs Kang expected a bit more Kang is a reversal machine so i can understand AA's play style but you need to switch up your style to get them strong grapples in and keep your opponent guessing, then again Kang kept falling for it. this could spark a feud if Kang is pissed enough for losing to a drunk at lution id like to see a feud with these two. Gaines almost had it at the end, a reversal and a rope break. I didnt like how strider pinned deano to keep him down, id rather see strider attempt a move that can maybe be reversed instead. that was kinda a cheap way to keep him down IMO. FI match these get credit for not turning this into a TX match. they did a good job and in trying to keep things ethical while still trying to get around an auto-target ladder filled 4 way. Brad = failure. i was pulling for smythe or deano and out of the blue Leon steals the win. nice job leon you saw an opening and you went for it and deano made a strong play to stop you but he was a second to late. excellent job nice match. but wait.... MMW is back OH SNAPZ!! bauer has got a nice feud on his hands now, i like this match up. and the boot to BB's back on a ladder just cruel Wilson. bold vs cross. the fued has been building its good, these guys are proving they can put in the work, now we just gotta get there in ring ethics polished and they need to reach the standard that is expected as an M.E. in OCW they are almost there. it was a good idea for a match, using what THQ has given us they made something work. gay is bold no selling the fall from the top you could have sold that and used your rampage later.. a couple times i saw bold do a standing grapple move to cross and even before cross's animation is done playing as he lands on the mat bold does a ground grapple you need to allow for them to land. cross was better with his quick to strong grapple ratio this time. for a while cross had it and i do like how bold will throw in taunts once in a while to give the match a feel like begging for mercy ect ect ect. the match was ethically good and fpr issues were minor. good showing but the end was meh..... a lot of build up and the end of the match didnt deliver. both guys said they are moving on and feuding with others this is the best thing the 2 of you can do at this point. nate vs kage. some have said motn, i appreciate that. the tribute video shows over 2 years of history and even from the intros, my evil theme to nates heroic theme you have a great set up for a wrestling match. the minute this match started it felt good. i wont say much but the last few minutes is an all out battle of one guy trying to end it and the other guy trying to stop the assault while trying to find an opening to win it himself. no gimmicks needed. majin vs guy. lately guy as been iffy with his ethics, i dunno what it is but he is really walking a thin line, as champ you need to get that in check now big guy. i will go on record the elbow drop does not fit guy fausto. he does not have the body or move set for it. yo have built yourself up with submission moves and some stronger tech moves. yet your finsiher is a flying turnbuckle move? hell lesner can do a 450 but he only tried it once in WWE. it just dont sit right with me. anyway, sucks to see majin lose the match was good alot of spots and alot of acton. i thought majin had it but at a certain point he seemed to lose the momentum. I thought mania had it at some points but then again VS has proven he can win a 4 way. seth you should back away once you lock targets not stand there. this match at times feels like a tornado tag which is a good thing cuz of the storyline. hey bold the death row/ first class tag match, did you watch the same match most of us did? a-jax and areis did no strong grapples and aside from solid attempts from mace and ryder aries and a-jax were quick and whip whores. fucking match was horrible, they are lucky TX had such a shitty pre-lution match otherwise this was the worst.

smythe you' re confusing skill with easyness of game. remember the game was made by the delevopers to be easier this year. They have stated that. so dont get confused with skill and easyness of game. i agree alot of people are playing and thats good, but if the M.E. arent playing and still winning what does that say.... with no effort the game is easy enough to still beat guys who are trying their ass off. think about it.

ok a few things. reverse hovering i'll explain. This is when wrestler A does a move to wrestler B, wrestler B is on the ground and wrestler A is now backing away from wrestler B, as wrestler B stands wrestler a is still close so wrestler B does not hesitate and as he stands quickly attacks wrestler A who is trying to move away . DO NOT FUCKING DO IT! its in the ministry vs crowe match and the TX match of shit. speaking of TX match of shit.... WTF? wait, i'll say it again. WTF? DJ... end result i think will be. 3 strike rule: strike 1 = warning. strike 2 = suspension. strike 3 = gone a new rule on quick grapples (we are working on this now) an ethical rule on irish whips (as in do not abuse like running attacks and rolling) some of us have tried some thigns and have seen better results allready. But this is guys who nomrally dont have bad ethics doing the testing so it works. well see after lution how things turn out.

FYI leonheart understands what this is about. no bias no bullshit. its fact in 07 skill got you to the top, in 08 skill isnt needed as much so what alot of you are thinking is skill is really just 08 dumbing down the game to be "pick up and play" this is no knock on anyone its just how the game is made. yes some peopel will be better then others sure, but you know if Smythe makes it to ME status it should be cuz he is that good at a game that takes skill to be good at not cuz he is able to play a game that is easy to be good at.

rev inc stepped it up this week they got aggressive and it showed they can still be a force in OCW. the addition of deano and gaines is great IMO So nate can survive a fall from the cell? well see if he survives at lution. first of all lets stop the flamming. second of all no one is saying the main eventers want to hold down the up and comers. A) we as a communtiy need to address the fact that we have almsot a 50-50 split in how 08 is effecting OCW that is a problem we need to address. B) Bold you say you can reverse so much now and that means your good. Bold you have always been strong at the game, but 08 is easy to reverse in. it doesnt mean you are suddenly super skillfull it means the game is easier. your skills are getting overshadowed by an easy game. wouldnt you rather feel justified in making it to main event cuz your skills got you there instead of a poorly made game. c) ethics are a huge issue in 08, we really need to re-address how ethics play a part in 08 and our future. d) after lution ocw will have a sit down summit with EVERYONE to talk about what to do next. so please instead of flamming think about what you and we can do to make ocw work with whatever game we decide to stick with. E) aj is right main eventing with the same people over and over again is boring. but you should make it to the main event thru yoru skill. 07 show cased skill more then 08. no need to flame i did not point anyone out in this article so if you have a guilty side and its showing you may have a problem.... just start thinking about OCW and how to address the ethics issues we have and how to make 08 tna and even 09 a better game for ocw. so when we have this summit you can discuss things without flamming.

we also have to think about ways to address ethics in 08 and future games. people should be thinking about ways to do this. thats what this post is also addressing, start thinking about what we can do to make things better if in fact 08 and eventually 09 is our game. to help ocw.

you act like i never play DM's? infact i do ask AA yourself Brad and others. the point is that 08 allows for ethics to be broken way to easy. 08 allows for less skill to be affective. that is bad. i want mid carders to excel but they should do it by skill not cuz a game is to easy. and brad your are not the authority in OCW to tell me what is warrented and what isn't in fact it could be argued its the other way around. the intent is to make sure ocw is going in the right direction and currenlty we at ocw have a almost 50-50 slpit on if we are doing that or not. that alone is a warning sign.

Well I can admit when I am wrong. I'll say it. I WAS WRONG. Here comes a plate of crow I am about to eat. SVR 08 was a bad step for OCW. After having a few months to play it, to win and lose in it. (stupid GUY!) I will say this game has done one thing for OCW and that is reward mediocre players. I'm gonna straight shoot here 06 and 07 took skill, we had a definate level of Main eventers, Mid-Carders, and Jobbers. 08 has shit all over this and players can win even if they suck. When you got yourself into the Main Event it was cuz you earned it. You had the skill and RP chops to hang. Take Myself, when I started I could beat the low level guys I was soild at midcard and I would get beat by Main eventers. It wasn't until I could pull out a win or actaully be a threat with he main eventers in a game where my skill was needed to increase that I became a main eventer. I earned it. 08 has taken that away. 08 was made so the lame can pick it up and play it. What that has done is it has taken some people and made them players when their skill suggests otherwise. How? lets see, if I can play 08 and have a shitty match but still win againts someone who is trying their ass off we have a problem. If I can close my eyes and hit the reverse button and actually reverse 50% of the time we have a problem. I wanted 08 to even the playing field and it has but it did it the wrong way. I wanted a new game with some changes in gameplay to allow for some new guys to maybe adapt or learn the game and move up to M.E. or what not. I did not want 08 to be made so that anyone with or without skill can win. Now there are a few things I like about 08, I like the styles and perks (even though they implimented them wrong) I like that you can have some intresting match ups but in the end it comes down to the players. 08 allows you to defult to a quick and whip whore if you want. (quick grapple irish whip whore) we are all at fault for this and it sucks. Can FPR put a limit on quick grapples and irish whips? Sure but how do we police that? Does it really need to come to that? If so we have a problem, and this is a exmaple of trying to make 08 like 07 with rules we have to enforce. How is it I can do no strong grapples againts someone who is doing them and I can still win? From a game developer this game mechanic = broken. How is it people will choose finshers that dont even fit them or they never used in previous games yet in 08 they pick them cuz they are basically irrevirsable? Hell I went to the fucking POUNCE!!! It's one of the hardest moves to set up! I didn't choose a flying elbow.. (zing!) I made my way to main event in the series of games that took skill. Why? Cuz I had to sharpen my skills up not cuz the game made it easier for me. I felt proud when I beat a Super Heavy Sideshow the Klown for the OCW title cuz I was better then him and I worked my ass of to get better. Not cuz the game was made so I could hardly try and still pull of a win! Or that the game was made so that it helped me win. That is bad for OCW and its bad for our competitve side. If your skill is not up to par, when you step in the ring with RD MONEY you will get beat. You shouldn't look like you can win. If your skill was good and you got in the ring with RD then it would show and you would get noticed but this wont happen in 08. In 08 I have many more wins then loses so its not that I am scared of losing or I suck at the game the problem is the game is making OCW suck. 3 years of my life has gone into OCW I wont allow for it to fall to shit cuz of a game. OCW is about fair play, community, and competitve matches. We have lost alot of these things and it gives me a sad face. (I'll leave the text faces to heaton) Basically as FPR police I'm being forced into making rules that basically do its best to turn 08 into 07? This is crazy we should just use 07 then! I honeslty don't know what to do. In a few months we have TNA and SVR 09 coming out. If we go with TNA fpr will be re-written to an extent to adjust for a new game. If we go to SVR 09 we will run into the same issues we have in 08. Jaysin said after lution we are having an open summit to address this problem and everyone will have a chance to talk. You as memebers of OCW need to really think about whats best for OCW and not for only you. take this time to think about OCW and whats best for it. At the summit we will all have a chance to talk. you have to be active to get booked. by active i mean RP both in a show or in the promo room, post on the forums once in a while. i aint seen marty do shit since his return. he is one of the guys who has an idea starts it off then does nothing to keep the idea going. again you dont get shit handed to you. hell i wouldnt have booked him seeing as he is basically MIA.
