Pity things like this happen I was so looking forward to the show tonight. Oh well, a few more days won't kill me.
-
Like I said, you and what army?
-
You and what army?
-
Not if I get it first.
-
I haven't seen a Riot this good in awhile and Guy was gold on the commentating table. Maybe he should do it full time.
-
Please ignore my earleir comment, I just remembered.
-
# 1 contender? I may just be having a loss of brain cells, but what am I a # 1 contender for?
-
The show was off the hook, I can't wait to see the next pay-per-view.
-
Ah, I was unaware of that. Difficult to tell who is kidding and who is serious over posts.
-
Really Le'Tuce? I am actually on a pay-per-view card, something I do not see very often and it is Summercide no less. I see people predicting that I will win my summercide match over D. Jones, even more rare than me on a pay-per-view card. I tell them how I really feel in response to their predictions, and you think I am trying to be a suck up? That is not who I am. I pray that I will never be like that.
-
First, I am very honored to be on my 1st pay-per-view since I returned and Summercide no less. Second, I can't recall the last time people were actually saying that I could win a match. I am very humbled and thankful to hear that. Here's to a good match Jones.
-
It was a great show with quite a few returns. I can't wait to see what next week has in store. *Side note: K.D., I seriously thought you had me after that spear.

*The camera fades in and we see David Jackson and Jim Black sitting outside in comfortable clothes in lounge chairs. They are not in any old place outside mind you, they are in Abisko National Park in the Swedish province of Lapland near the Norwegian border. In the background, we see Scandinavia's (That's the region in northern Europe that includes Denmark, Norway, and Sweden) largest alpine lake. It is a beautiful day with natural wildlife all around them. Both men smile at the calm, the tranquility, the serene beauty of Sweden. Black: (Still grinning) I can't believe how beautiful this place is. Looking at all of this clean, clear water is...breath taking. Jackson: (Still grinning as well) That's the beauty of Sweden. Not only do they have Noble Prize winners, a rich folk-music scene, and the biggest amount of newspaper readers I have ever seen in a country, but they have so much natural beauty it's a big temptation to move here...or at least own a summer home. Black: How did you know all of those facts about Sweden? Jackson: I have been here a time or two before. You start learn and absorb the knowledge that a country has to offer the more you visit. Black: I'll keep that in mind D-Jack. Now, the reason you are here is to do a interview as you may guess with the camera crew (Points to the camera). However, this interview will be something a little different. I'm want to know what your experience and what your knowledge has been since you became a wrestler. Jackson: (Leans in) Sounds very interesting, I'm in. Fire away with the questions. Black: During your 1st day of training to become a wrestler, what did you learn and experience? Jackson: (Surprised) A tough one right off the bat. Usually, you build up to your tough ones. Anyway, before that 1st day began, I was full of energy. After that 1st day was over and I went to bed, still had alot of energy and no pain. When I woke up, I experienced pain all over my body and soreness was the king. I realized at that moment that wrestling was going to be a commitment and one I would have to work at very hard just to come out of it alive. Black: What about when you were 1st learning wrestling holds and suplexes, what was that like? Jackson: Very tricky business. I was told by my mentor that one inch off of your target, one slam on the wrong body part, one submission hold done the wrong way could send you, your opponent, or both to the hospital. Learning all the holds was hard. You had to learn to put on holds that not only caused pain, but it was safe to your opponent. No one wants to be remembered as the guy who turned a good wrestler into a quadriplegic. As far as the numerous different suplexes are concerned, the same premise applies. You want to do moves that are damaging, but you want your opponent to walk away from it all after it is over. Black: Very good advice. Your 1st professional match in front of a crowd, what was that like? Jackson: I had butterflies that did a power ranger morph into woodpeckers in my stomach. I was so nervous that day. At that time, I was part of a new wrestling organization called HVW (Hill Valley Wrestling), so everyone was under pressure to make a good 1st impression. From the time I arrived at the arena till the bell rang, I went over everything I learned in my head. The match worked well in my favor. The guy I was facing, Johnny Lightning, was a veteran who had been around for a good while, but never faced anyone who knew as many high flying moves or technical moves as I did. However, a bit of bad luck came my way. Johnny was on the ground and I was on the apron. I jumped up on the top rope to do a springboard headbutt. However, the top rope wasn't as tight as it should have been. It buckled wildly under my weight and I landed back 1st on a concrete floor with no padding. Black: (Shocked) What happened? Did you injure yourself? Jackson: Luckily, no, I just knocked the wind out of myself. However, the landing must have appeared worse. The ref stopped that match and I got hauled off to the back in a stretcher. After a few minutes to catch my breath and a thorough check of my motor functions, I was on my feet and heading towards the locker room. After my accident, a strict rule was in place to make sure that each rope was as tight as the rest. I was very lucky that day. My career almost ended before it even began. Black: You barely dodged the bullet there D-Jack. Now, your very 1st title win. What was that experience like and what was the title called? Jackson: A mixture of pain and emotion. I was so happy to own my 1st piece of hardware that I broke down crying in the middle of the ring. The title in question was the HVW Championship, which was the main title of the company. I celebrated that night by going out and hitting the town. After I woke up the next morning, I realized that I had a bullseye on my back larger than any other point in my career. I had my 1st professional match the month before hand and I was the 1st person to win that title. A young upstart just beat a bunch of grizzled veterans to the prize. I had an entire locker room of people waiting to beat me up. Black: Quite a way to start your career. What was it like going into a locker room for the 1st time? Jackson: (Thoughtful) Hmmm...I guess you could say it was unusual. I was not used to changing in front of other guys at the time. Some were talking like nothing was going on, others just wanted to change and get out of there, and others just glared at you. It takes awhile to get used to the environment and the occasional temper flares, but it is enjoyable, especially the towel fights. Black: Some things never change from high school. Do you regret becoming a wrestler? Jackson: Once or twice I have. I had two career choices when I decided to beat up other guys for a living. I was going to be a video game tester or a wrestler. A video game tester's job is easy, the pay is good, and when there are no video games to be tested for that company you work for, you get time off. A wrestler's job is hard work everyday, the pay and the location can be uncertain, and when you aren't on a card, you pray you are in a dark match that pays. I grew up loving and admiring wrestling and video games. I chose wrestling because you are in different locations each week, you get to meet new people, the sounds of the crowd is second to none, I actually look good with my shirt off, and I love leaving a mess in hotel rooms for the maids to clean up. Black: You really are a mess there Jackson. Is there any advice you would like to give to any future wrestlers out there? Jackson: Don't expect this business to be a cakewalk. You will be sore everyday after you perform. Keep your wrestling attire in your backpack that you carry on the plane. Always bring a good amount of cash with you because some atms are not 24 hours. Always arrive to your matches location early to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the town. Keep a batch of coolant and oil in your car at all times if you plan on driving alot. Keep in contact with your family and loved one because you will miss them. Make sure you have someone trustworthy house sitting while you are gone. Stay on your fellow wrestler's good side if you can. Don't let your temper cloud your judgment in the ring. Drunk and a bar full of bikers don't mix. Black: I want to ask you about that last one, but something inside of me is saying no, so I am going to follow that voice. Have you ever been apart of a squash match? If so, who did the squashing and what happened? Jackson: Yes, I have been apart of one squash match. It was back in 2006 when Mayhem was returning. He did the squashing and I have never lost so quickly and badly in my career. I was a sacrificial lamb and the best way I know how to put it. Black: On that note, word around the OCW lockeroom is that you have wanted a re-match with Mayhem the day after that match took place to this day. Why do you still want a re-match after all this time? Jackson: I just want another shot at the monster. A long time has passed and careers have changed. I would like to show him and everyone else how much better I have gotten. Black: Does the fact that he is the current OCW Champion help influence this desire? Jackson: Not at all. I just want to get in the ring, shake his hand as the bell rings, and hopefully give him and the rest of OCW a good, quality match. Black: (Remembers) Oh yes, one more question. OCW is in Sweden to do a show, but you are not on the card. Why join OCW in Sweden if you are not going to compete? Jackson: Ever since I came back to OCW, I have been backstage at every show. I am there as a backup wrestler just in case someone is a no-show for their match. Besides, nothing beats the action live. Black: Thanks for your time on this beautiful Swedish day D-Jack (Both men stand up and shake hands) (Turns to the camera) This is Jim Black with David Jackson signing off. *The camera fades as it gets a good shot of the park's beauty.*

Lution Re-match? Oh boy, I better work on my counters.

Don't forget to use the baby seals's eyes for car headlights.

*The camera fades in and we see Jim Black sitting on the couch in D-Jack's living room. Carlos is sitting right next to him at eye level with the camera rolling. They are both watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on the big screen.* Black: (Looks at his watch) David has been asleep for the past 4 hours, he must've really been tired. I hope he didn't mind us raiding his fridge for lunch. Our plane leaves in 4 hours, I hope he wakes up soon. Jackson: (Stretches) I am awake now Jim. (Yawns) Sorry to keep you waiting, my naps usually never last that long. Also, to answer your statement, no, I don't mind you raiding my fridge. I usually try to clean it out before I go on the road again, so thank you for helping me. Now, I promised that the 4th floor and the basement would be worth it, now I will show you why. Let's all head to the elevator. It will be much faster than the stairs. *Jim and Carlos stand up from the couch and turned off the TV. They follow D-Jack to the elevator. Jim pushes the elevator button, the elevator door open, and all 3 men step inside the elevator. D-Jack pushes the 4th floor button and the elevator starts a vertical climb Black: Before we get to the 4th floor, how big is this elevator? Jackson: (Thinks for a second) Six feet wide by 8 feet long (The elevator doors open as Jackson finishes his sentences). Black: The master bedroom is on the 4th floor so let's start there (All 3 men enter the room and Jim examines it). Every wall is covered with Marvel and DC superheroes, two king beds pushed together, a 40" TV, DVD player, the new Xbox 360, a Playstation 3, a Wii, numerous games for each system, all appear to have a T1 line connected to them. A desktop computer, a 27" screen, a walk-in closet, an entire wall for your shoes, a alienware laptop charging in the wall, and a collection of DVD's. Jackson: This room keeps me comfortable, entertained, and connected with the rest of the world. It's my favorite room to be in, outside of the 2nd room on this floor and the basement. Now, before we get to the basement, let's get to the 2nd and last room of this floor. *All 3 men exit D-Jack's bedroom and cross the hallway to the next room* Black: (Impressed) This has got to be my favorite room so far. It is just one huge arcade room with a snack bar in the back. So many arcade cabinets from the 80's, 90's, and what's with the lone long table in the back? Jackson: It's a place where I can sort documents, write down rough drafts, sort new and owned baseball cards, and it's a place I can store boxes for the snack bar. Black: Rough drafts? Are you writing a novel D-Jack? Jackson: I am working on a few items, but I don't want to reveal my outside projects just yet. That is all of the 4th floor, now, let us head back to the elevator and to the basement. *All 3 men head out of the room and back to the elevator. D-Jack presses the button and the elevator door opens. Carlos, Jim, and David step into the elevator and Jim presses the 1 button. The elevator starts a vertical descent.* Black: What does the basement has that is so special D-Jack? Jackson: When the doors open, you'll find out and my basement is called my vault. Oh, by the way, what you'll see is half of the basement when the doors open. *The doors open and Jim is paralyzed to the spot. He cannot believe what he is seeing.* Black: David...this is incredible. I have never seen such a huge wrestling vault. You're going to have to take over for a minute because I am still shocked. Jackson: Gladly, as you can see, there are several trophy cases filled with different wrestling belts that I have won throughout my career. In total, there are 43 belts in these cases from 9 different wrestling organizations. Black: 43 belts...how long have you been wrestling professionally? Jackson: Since the day of my 19th birthday and I am 24 right now. Black: You have captured more belts in such a short amount of time than many veterans's career who wrestled 20-30 years. However, every OCW title has eluded your capture. What do you plan to do when you get your 1st title shot since returning to OCW? Jackson: I'm not sure about strategy, but I know what I am going to wear. Step over here for a minute and I'll show you. (All 3 men walk over to the corner of the room) Say hello to my Mick Foley shrine. Black: You have a Mick Foley shrine?!? What all do we have here? numerous autographed photos, looks like every single dvd involving mick Foley, some wrestling memorabilia, and a complete Cactus Jack attire. Jackson: That outfit right there is what I am going to wear to my 1st title match. To wear that outfit and to fight for a OCW title will seriously make me happy before the match. Black: There seems to be more: Old banners from your past federations, posters advertising the matches to take place that night, videos that seem to be labeled with ppv matches you have been apart of, photos of you and various other wrestlers. A good amount of them seem to be with Baxter, just how long have you two known each other? Jackson: (Thinks for 5 seconds) I believe 5 years. Off the top of my head, I don't recall in which organization we met, but we have kept the friendship alive. Now, let's get to the other half of the basement and it is worth more to a stranger than my entire house. Right this way gentlemen. *Jim, David, and Carlos all walk to the concrete wall with a single steel door. D-Jack pulls out a single key and unlocks the lock. The door creaks as it opens and it is dark on the inside. All three men step through the door and Jackson turns on the light switch and many lights activate. We see more cases, but they do not have trophies in them. They have something much more deadly in them: weapons.* Jackson: Welcome to the war room gentlemen. Do you like what you see? (Both nod yes) Good, now before I begin, Carlos, how much more memory is left in that camera? Carlos: (Slight Spanish accent) I forgot to record over what was on here before so two minutes of memory left, sorry. Jackson: Dang it, not much time. No need to apologize Carlos, I'll just give you the short version of everything as you walk around getting shots of each display. (Carlos is walking around the room as D-Jack is talking) Ok, as you can see, I have sub-machine guns, light machine guns, assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, pistols, and muskets all in working condition. That was the firearms side of the room (all 3 men walk over to the other side of the room), this is the ancient weapons side of the room. I have a swords, shields, sais, crossbows, regular bows, axes, kanabos, twin hooks, staffs, and much more that I just do not have time to show you within the time frame. Take us home Jim. Black: Thank for joining us on this tour of D-Jack's magnificent home. This is Jim Black with David Jackson signing off. *The camera fades out.*
-
*The camera fades in and we see David Jackson and Jim Black finishing up their breakfast. Carlos the cameraman, as you can guess, is already done and filming. Jim and D-Jack are chatting away as the last few bites are eaten.* Black: This was fantastic D-Jack, what a list of delicious items you made: scrambled eggs with cheese, grits, sawmill gravy, sausage, bacon, country ham, fried apples, hash brown casserole, omelets, turkey, homemade biscuits and jelly. What really surprised me was chicken fried chicken and country fried steak. I have never seen those on the breakfast menu at my house. Jackson: This was the exact same menu my grandmother made me everytime I went up to see her at breakfast time. She taught me how to make all this, the best temperature for each dish, mix in the herbs and spices, and all that good stuff. Black: This has been bugging me since we've been eating. If you don't know that much about cars, then how did you get that level of customization done to them? Jackson: My brother is fascinated and obsessed with cars. He knows just as much about cars as a professional mechanic, if not more. Anyway, let's get to this video. What do you think about my kitchen? Black: It's alot bigger than what I expected from a bachelor's pad. A chef's collection of knives, a little island in the middle with your stove and oven, a huge pantry with lots of various items from cereal to spices, and two refrigerators. What's with that? Jackson: Actually, one entire unit is a refrigerator and one is a freezer. I used to overcook alot of stuff when I had company come over and I needed a place to put it. One half refrigerator and one half freezer used to cut it, but I kept on running out of room. So, I got two. Black: I know you have a workout room in the house, let's take a look. (David, Jim, and Carlos walk into the in-home gym) Now this is a big exercise room. A treadmill, a exercise bike, a flat screen TV on the wall to keep you occupied, a exercise trampoline, a stationary bowflex, a pull up/push up bar, and some (surprised) martial arts training equipment? You practice a certain form of martial arts D-Jack? Jackson: I don't proclaim to have any formal training of martial arts, but I use it to improve my punches and kicks. That standing dummy in the corner has been drop kicked to the floor many times. Black: (Gets a closer look) Is that lipstick on the dummy's lips? Jackson: I have a very sick sense of humor. There have been a few ex-girlfriends I've wanted to beat the crap out of and he is a good substitute. The lipstick is Plum Passion by the way. Black: (Shakes his head) Let's go into the den. Come on Carlos (All 3 men walk into the den) now, this is a nice looking den. A big screen TV, a home theater system, speakers all over the room for a 3D effect, a few big couches that all recline, a love seat, and a bean bag chair. What are your favorite programs to watch on TV? Jackson: (Thinks for a second) Deadliest Warrior on Spike, Raw, Royal Pain, Blue Collar, and Burn Notice on USA, Smackdown on MyNetwork TV, and that's all I can think of right now. Black: Let's head out to the main hallway of your house (All 3 men walk into the next room and stand in front of the front door). I noticed this as we were leaving your kitchen, but you actually have a elevator in your house. Why did you have this installed? Jackson: (Smiles slightly) Everyone has had items that they have difficulty bringing upstairs when they move in. I have some items that no one can carry upstairs and we'll get to those later. Black: Very well then D-Jack. Let's head into the dining room and don't dawdle Carlos. (All 3 men walk into the dining room) A fine china cabinet, a table that can seat 10, 2 see-through cabinets full of collectibles, a chandelier and a writer's desk in the corner. What collectibles do you have in those cabinets? Jackson: They vary from Disney World to Dollywood to shot glasses from every city I have ever wrestled in to random items I found on ebay. Black: What about this next room? (All 3 men walk into the next room) There is no furniture, no TV, just spare ceiling fans and other household appliances. It look like it is just one big closet. Jackson: For the time being, it is one big closet. I can't think of anything to put in this room that I don't already have located around the house. So, I just have spare odds and ends in here. Other than the closets and other storage space, I think that is it for the 2nd floor. Next one on the list is the 3rd floor. (All 3 men walk up the polished wooden staircase) We won't be spending much time on the 3rd floor. Black: Why is that D-Jack? Jackson: There are 8 rooms on the 3rd floor and they all are the same (All 3 men walk into the 1st door on the left). Black: (Examines the room) A king size bed, a couple of pillows, a hope chest, a walk-in closet, a 32' tv, a DVD player, and a coat rack. If all 8 rooms are exactly the same, it's like you are running a mini-hotel D-Jack. Jackson: That is one way to look at it. No matter what wrestling organization I am with, I usually end up traveling with a group of people to cut down on gas costs. Whenever our travels take us through Alabama, if we can spare the time, we stop here and rest. Much cheaper than buying a hotel. Now, if you two excuse me, it is time for a mid-morning nap. Black: But, what about the rest of the video? Jackson: We will finish it before the sun sets and you and Carlos will make your plane. I promise that the 4th floor and the basement will be well worth the wait. *Jim Black and Carlos head back downstairs to relax as D-Jack walks up the stairs to the 4th floor and the camera fades out.*
-
*The camera fades in and we see David Jackson standing outside a 4 story red house (basement included). It is a bright, sunny day in Hoover, Alabama. He is in his street clothes with his war paint on and sunglasses. He is looking at his watch and you can see him mouth "Where is he?" Carlos the cameraman motions to D-Jack and he realizes the camera is rolling. He has a worried look on his face as his dialog commences.* Jackson: Hello to all who is watching and welcome to my humble home. Sorry for not having a good introduction to start this video, but I was suppose to be joined by Jim Black today. We had a deal between us: I arrive in OCW headquarters to do a spontaneous interview and he comes down to Alabama to conduct a video tour of my house. He was suppose to be here 30 minutes ago, but he is not here yet...ah, here he is...(Carlos turns 180 degrees and a silver 2006 Honda Civic pulls up in the drive way. Jim Black gets out as soon as the car's engine stops) Jim, your late. How did you not find this house? It's a little hard to miss. Black: (Apologetic) Sorry D-Jack, but traffic was bad on the way here. I have never been on 280 before and I never want to again, it's just as bad as NYC traffic. Jackson: (Sighs) I told you to not go on 280 to get here. I gave you alternate directions than what your GPS said. Those direction were designed to make you miss the 280 morning rush hour. Anyway, let's not worry about that right now, we got a video to shoot. Black: Quite right David, let's get to it. Where shall we get started? Jackson: The car garage sounds like a good idea. Walk this way with me gentlemen. (They walk up the remainder of the driveway to a 6 door garage that is independent of the rest of the house. We see a code box on the wall next to all six doors) Now, let me enter the master code and open all six doors at once. Black: Before you do this Jackson, a few questions are already on the tip of my tongue. First off, what is your driveway made of? (Carlos gets a good shot of the driveway) I don't think I have ever seen any driveway made of rock before. Jackson: (Smiles) They aren't just any rocks there Jim. They are cobblestones. Black: (Confused) What possessed you to make your driveway out of cobblestones? Jackson: I got the inspiration out of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes novels. I have read them since I was in middle school and I remember may references to cobblestone roads. I thought they would be cool to have and I was right because no one else that I can think of has a cobblestone driveway. Black: Nor anyone else that I can think of D-Jack. Why do you have six keypads on your garage door walls? Wouldn't just one be easier? Jackson: I have six keypads set up for convenience for myself, my family, friends, and relatives who watch over my house while I am out of town. Now, let's get these doors open...(turns to Carlos and Jim)...turn away for 5 seconds please, I would like to keep my code a secret. (Both turn away for 5 seconds) Ok, the garage doors are now open...(Carlos get the entire six doors in the shot and we see 5 heavily modified cars and 1 mini-van)...what do you think Jim? Black: (Shocked) I...I...wow. All this time I have known you, you have never told me that you like to collect cars. However, I do recognize the mini-van. It was blue the last time I saw it, did you get a paint job? Jackson: (Shakes his head) No, the van you saw last was a 1994 Dodge Caravan. It got totaled not too long ago and it didn't' dodge the accident very well, I had to buy a replacement. The new mode of transportation is this 2010 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van. You can't see it now, but the custom paint job has earned it the nickname "The Video Game Van." Black: How did it earn that nickname? Jackson: If you let me pull the car out, I will show you...(David gets in the car, starts the engine, and pulls it out. In the sunlight, you can clearly see all things video game related are painted all over that van. D-Jack stops the engine, gets out of the car, and grins)...so, what do you think there Jimbo? Black: (Cannot believe his eyes) If this is the tip of the iceberg of what you own, I will faint by the end of the day. The Sony logo and tons of characters from the Playstation universe on the left side, the Nintendo logo and many familiar characters from the Nintendo universe on the right side, the Microsoft Logo and characters from the Xbox universe on front, and the Sega logo and characters from the Sega universe on back. What possessed you to do this? Jackson: I've always wanted to do this to a car I owned ever since I came up with the idea in the 8th grade. Now, that is one more dream I can cross off the list. Black: Too many people grow distant from their childhood dreams and fantasies as they grow older. You seem to not only remember your dreams, but you are living them. Now...(chuckles slightly)...what can you tell me about these 5 other impressive looking cars? Jackson: (Carlos is giving a whole view one at a time) They are all green as you can see because green is my favorite color. The main reason it is my favorite is that I was a huge green ranger fan back when the power rangers were just getting the ball rolling. All of them have a different Hemi under the hood for various performance, all have updated fuel injectors, the tires have a special gel on the inside that allows the tires to stay inflated for 50 miles if there has been a puncture, a chip in the motors to make them go faster, some nice spinners, and different decals on each. There is more that I have had done to these cars, but I am not gifted when it comes to car talk. What you have just heard is the extent of my car lingo. Black: (Looks in the back of the garage) I see you have a couple of tool boxes back there D-Jack. Jackson: Yes I do. Every single tool I need to fix any problem my cars have is right there in the back, parts are another story. I have a few spares, but I have only have so much room (David, Jim, and Carlos walk out of the garage. D-Jack hits a button on the keypad and the garage doors closes behind them). Black: Now that we have covered your garage, in what room shall we start in your house? Jackson: How about the kitchen seeing as how it is breakfast time? I'll be making it myself and I already have items thawing. Black: Very well Jackson, we'll eat breakfast and continue the tour after we've all had a good meal. (Turns to the camera) Stayed tuned later today for a continuation of the tour. *The camera fades out*

*The camera fades in and we see Jim Black and David Jackson sit across each other. They are back in the interview room at OCW studios. Jim is wearing a business casual outfit and David is in his street clothes with war paint. They are ready and set to finish the interview.* Black: (Looks at the camera) Thank you for joining us once again ladies and gentlemen. As always I am Jim Black here with David Jackson, who is back to finish the interview we did a few days ago. (Turns to D-Jack) Now David, during our last interview, you told us about what you did during your last few months in OCW, what you did after you got fired from OCW, and described an amazing business that attracts a ton of business each month. That would've made anyone else that I can think of happy for the rest of their days, but you said that that was not all. (Raises his eyebrow) What else did you between then and Wrestlution 5 when you returned? Jackson: I did a few more things during my time away. (Thinks for a moment) The 1st thing that popped in my head is my grandparents. Black: What does your grandparents have to do with you keeping busy? Jackson: My grandparents live about an hour away from my current house on a farm. The place has needed repairs and updating for quite some time, but I never had the time to help. Black: What all needed to be done and what all did you do? Jackson: To start off, my grandparents needed a new fence around their property. The old one was decaying and was falling apart. I took out the old fence posts, put in new ones, made them plum, and wrapped them in barbed wire. Black: (Confused) What does plum mean David? Jackson: Plum is an old builder's term meaning it is straight up and level. Anyway, their barn needed a new room and floor on the 2nd floor, so that took even more time than the fence. The chicken cook needed to have the holes patched up, and I dug a well. Black: How long were you doing all this and did you have help? Jackson: I was at my grandparents house for quite a few weeks helping them do all this. The only time my grandfather and I need was needed was barn maintenance. I contracted some local help who were out of jobs at the time. Black: (Smiles) David Jackson wearing overalls and being a country boy...I wish I could've seen that. What else did you do after that? Jackson: After I finished with the farm, I stayed in my house for a week and I didn't leave for any reason other than to get groceries and that was it. After that week passed, my brother contacted me out of the blue and said that he had some vacation time coming up. He wondered if I would like to join him in Orlando, Florida to go visit the theme parks. I couldn't pass that up, so I agreed and we left for Florida the next day. Black: What all did you do in Florida? Jackson: My brother and I went to Sea World, Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, etc. and we had a blast. Usually, when it is just me and my brother, we pick on each other alot till the other gets mad and storms off. That was not the case this time. The only time we were annoyed was when the Tower of Terror in Disney World stopped mid-fall and were stuck there for 30 minutes. I guess you could say my brother and I got closer. I would also say that we matured during that trip, but that will probably never happen. Black: Did your brother ever wanted to be a wrestler like you? Jackson: He did at one point in time. This was back when I was 21 and he was 19. He told me that he wanted to be a wrestler like me. I warned him that there would be blood, sweat, and sacrifice to be a wrestler. Still, I decided to let him join me at Gold's Gym one day to see what all he could do. After that day, my brother complained about how tired he was from the workout and quit. He hasn't wanted to be a wrestler since. Black: I guess wrestling doesn't run through your family's blood. Does anyone else in your family wrestle? Jackson: (Thinks a moment) No, no one else in my family wrestles. It's just me. Black: The lone wrestling wolf of the family, interesting. Did you do anything else? Jackson: I did some volunteer work over a place called Callaway Gardens. Black: What is Callaway Gardens and what kind of volunteering did you do? Jackson: Callaway Gardens is a outdoor park that has everything nature lovers want to see. To truly take in what it is, you have to come down and see it. As far as what kind of volunteering I did, I planted new plants, worked security at night a few times, helped cleaned the walkways, substituted for the accountant whenever he was sick, and I think that was it. Black: I've never heard of a park needing a accountant. How does that work out? Jackson: The park has a outdoor stage and a pavilion that hosts wedding receptions, family reunions, graduation parties, etc. The owner's strong point isn't numbers, so he hired a accountant. Black: I understand now. Is there anything else that you did to occupy your time? Jackson: (Hmm) I can't think of anything else right now. If I do think of something, I'll let you know. Black: Ok, then let's skip straight to that fateful day you got a phone call. What were you doing? Jackson: I was enjoying a good snooze. It was a week before the Wrestlution 5 card was up, it was 8 in the morning when the phone rang, and I answered it while being half awake. I asked who it was and the person on the line said she was with OCW HQ and she had some news for me. I was going to be in a surprise match at Wrestlution. My opponent was going to be Dane Xavier and the winner would receive a OCW contract. I was in a state of complete shock and surprise. Black: I can only imagine what was going through your mind when you got the news. What did you do to prepare for this match? Jackson: Ever since I left OCW, I kept up my workout routine and my cardio. I enjoyed being in shape too much to turn into a fat couch potato. So, I just pushed myself a little bit harder to prepare for the match. I did no wrestling training before I got to MSG in New York City. Black: (Stunned) You were given an opportunity of a life to perform at Wrestlution 5, the 1st one you competed at since Wrestlution 1 and you didn't practice your moves? What in the world pre-occupied your time? Jackson: (Frowned) My lovely and fun building that I bought was being sued. I was in a court room the day after I got that phone call till the afternoon of my flight to New York City. Black: (More understanding) Who in the world sued you and why? Jackson: A man who swore to be a membership holder said that one of the tread mills suddenly went 15-20 mph faster. He also said that it flew him off the machine and into a wall. He was seeking psychological damages and threatened to sue me if I didn't pay him off. I laughed in his face and said I'll see you in court. To make a long story short, the man was never a member and was just looking for a way to score some quick cash. He was arrested for fraud and he is in jail now. As soon as that trail ended, I bolted towards the airport and flew to MSG. Black: Congratulations on your legal victory and sorry to hear that someone tried to con you. I understand that you had one sparring match before Wrestlution. Who was your sparring partner? Jackson: Mayhem, believe it or not. He wanted to see if I had made any progress since I was last with the company. Black: I would've suggested someone easier to spar with, like a train. Jackson: Nah, I've faced Mayhem before. I was his 1st match when he returned to OCW back in 2006 and I am still paying off those doctor bills. I'm still itchin' to face him again and pay him back for that squash match. Black: It's your funeral D-Jack, I'll make sure to say something nice about you at your eulogy. Now, onto show time ,you arrived at the arena with your old green and blue attire on and you received a surprise as you were making your way to the locker room. What was the surprise? Jackson: (Smiles) My good friend Baxter welcomed me back with a hand shake and a new attire. I was against wearing war paint at 1st, but it was something new and I love to try out new things. (Points to his face) As you can see, the paint has grown on me. After I changed clothes and stretched my limbs, it was show time for me and Dane. Black: Did you and Dane ever talk before or after the match? Jackson (Shakes his head) No, we didn't. I wished him luck as he was entering from the walkway, but I wouldn't count that as talking. You all know what happened at the match. I got beat and I had more ring rust than a retired fleet of submarines. Anyone who has faced me before knows that I have not much ego to speak of, but I am a very competitive person by nature. If I lose, let me be for about 15 minutes and I'll have calmed down to my normal self you see now. I offered to shake Dane's hand backstage to congratulate him on the quickest hire and fire in OCW history, but he just glared at me. Black: You didn't receive a OCW contract, yet here you are today. How did this come about? Jackson: Apparently, my newfound attitude and desire in the ring showed in my match. Jaysin Sensation gave me a call, said I wouldn't leave empty handed. I would not receive a contract, but I would be a free agent and maybe I'll earn a contract in the future. All I can do about that is keep on working hard and proving that belong back in OCW. Black: Here's to hoping that you get that contract D-Jack. Last question, what are your current plans for getting noticed and put on more shows? Jackson: I have one or two ideas in the works, but I don't want to mention them until I know if the people involved are for or against the idea. So, it will be revealed all in due time. Black: That's all the time for today...(Turns towards the camera)...this is Jim Black with David Jackson signing off. Good night and we will see you soon. *The camera fades out as Jim and David shakes hands and walk off camera.*

I believe I will have time to it before I go to sleep on Sunday.

Whenever I find time to sit down and write it.

*The camera fades in and we see Jim Black and David Jackson sitting across from each other. They are in the interview room at OCW Studios chatting away. Jim is in his business casual attire and D-Jack is in his street clothes with the pirate paint on. We manage to catch the tail end of the conversation as the interview start.* Black: How did you not get the cops called on you with that war paint on? Did anyone see you with that finger paint on your face? Jackson: (Laughs) No Jim, I do not wear the paint outside of the arena. I wait and remove it when I am alone. To this day, very few people in the locker room has seen me without my face painted or a mask on. Black: (Raise an eyebrow) Very interesting to know, now, let's get to the reason I asked you here. I was curious as to what you have been up to since you got fired a few years back. Then, out of the blue, you were on the card at Wrestlution. I know how much you love to talk when someone asks you questions, so let's get to it. Jackson: (Smirks) Fire away with the questions and let's see how many I can answer. Black: You were fired due to your poor performances in the ring, your lack of activity outside the ring, and your general lack of effort period. What was going through your head at that time? Jackson: I was 22 at the time and I had been on the road since my 19th birthday. I had not taken any time off for myself and that probably contributed to my attitude. I was in a heavy fog. I just didn't care about wrestling, performing, or doing anything for OCW. A few months before I was banned I was ready to call it quits when something unexpected. Big Joe D contacted me and asked if I wanted to form a tag team with him. I readily accepted and he said that he would contact me within the next few days to start training together. (Sighed) Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months with nothing from Big Joe D. Then, I woke up one morning and got a phone call from OCW Headquarters that I was no longer apart of OCW period. I understood why they did that and they wished me the best of luck on my future endeavors. Black: How were the next few days after that fateful phone call? Jackson: I remember feeling relieved and worried at the same time. I was relieved that I didn't have to travel on the road for the next few weeks. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get in the ring again. I spent the time looking at my finances and trying to figure out my next move. Black: What was your financial situation then and what was your next move? Jackson: My financial situation was very well in hand. I am not a big partier or a big spender by nature. I had saved up quite a bit of money so I could've retired for many years if I wanted to. But, I decided to not sit around and wait for something to come to me, that's how I got fired. I decided to see what business opportunities Hoover, Alabama had. Black: (Questioning look) What kind of business opportunities did Hoover have? I've never been there, but I know it is not a large city. Jackson: (Nods in assurance) You are correct there Jim. Hoover is not a large city, but that doesn't mean opportunity is gone from that town. I had come across a two story building about 10 minutes from my house that used to hold a Karate Dojo on its entire ground bottom floor and several different business on the top level. It was now entirely vacated due to poor business. Let's face it, the economy is not what it once was. I bought up the property from the previous owner and D-Jack's House of Fun and Pain. Black: (Laughs hard)HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...(D-Jack looks at his watch)...(Jim stops laughing)...I'm sorry David, but D-Jack's House of Fun and Pain is a most unusual name for a building. Let's say I'm a potential customer and I was passing by, why would I want to go to your building? Jackson: The bottom floor is one big gym and is the coolest floor of the building, temperature wise. We have everything from cardio to straight up weight lifting. I was very proud of how many different workout machines I was able to get into that floor and still have a good amount of room for lockers, maneuverability, and my sustenance machines. Black: The bottom floor sounds impressive, but what about the rest of the building and what is in those machines? Jackson: The middle floor host is one big room and it hosts my rings. It has a boxing ring, a wrestling ring, a amateur wrestling mat, a full-time trainer's room, my office, more machines, and I even teach wrestling to students when I am in town. When I am not in town, some of my friends from past federations I have been apart of are more than happy to fill-in for me. As to answer what is in the machines, free stuff. Soft drinks, energy drinks, Gatorade's, nutrition bars, etc. Black: (Jaw drops) All that stuff is FREE?!? How are you able to afford it all? Also, middle floor? I thought there were only two floors to your building. Jackson: The is a catch to the free stuff. You need a lifetime membership card to access it. The lifetime membership is the only membership I offer. As long as you pay the membership fee, $10 a month. You can stay away for a couple of months and have your card re-activated whenever you feel like returning. Also, yes, I added a 3rd floor to the place. With what I had in mind, I needed it. Black: All that stuff for only $10 a months? Man, you are a cheap date...(both burst out laughing)...(While he is laughing)...didn't see that coming did you? (David shakes his head no) Good, neither did I. (Both catch their breath) What did you have in mind that you had to add a 3rd floor? Jackson: (Still catching his breath) That was a good one, Jim, you really got me. The 3rd floor actually came as a bit of a necessity to Hoover. The arcade at the Riverchase Galleria had been shut down and it was never coming back. The entire 3rd floor is one big game room filled with my favorite video games from yesteryear and current generation. Also, a section with chairs and tables is reserved for card players. By card players, I mean Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, etc. They can play in safety and in climate controlled rooms. This gets them out of the house and no more parents saying "Your friends have been here long enough, get them out of here, and why don't you get out more?" Black: Sounds like you've had some experience with that statement. Can we get some examples of what video game cabinets you have and how much they cost? Jackson: That I can certainly do. 1942, Alien vs Predator, Batman Forever: The Arcade Game, Bloody Roar 2 & 3, Capcom vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000, and 2 Dance Dance Revolutions hooked up to each other. What makes these two stand out is not only can new songs be added at any time, but you can challenge team vs team or 1 vs 1. All machines cost 25 cents except the DDRs, which cost 50 cents for 3 songs. I have many more machines in that 3rd floor, but I can't remember them all. Black: Is the game room part of the membership or is it something different altogether? Jackson: The game room is part of the membership and it also takes quarters. So, members and anyone off the streets alike can have fun. Black: It sound like one fun place to hang out and get healthy. One more question and I will be done with you for today. Did this set you back at all? Jackson: No, it did not set me back at all. It did cost quite a pretty penny, but I still alot of money left. Plus, that's not all I did while I was gone. Black: In that case, I look forward to our future interview on what else you have done with yourself. This is Jim Black with David Jackson saying goodnight and signing off. *The camera starts to fade and we chat Jim Black and David Jackson shaking hands and walking off camera. The camera fades.*
