  1. I can't speak for the other rookies but I know I didn't submit any written content since I don't know if rookies are supposed to submit anything for PPVs. I imagine that may be why other rookies who weren't booked didn't submit anything. So what's the rule on that? Can anyone submit anything?
  2. See I heard that, too, but even when I set both of my finishers to ground finishers, it doesn't let me use my alternate finisher in a front grapple. I even tried going onto the announcers table and still I couldn't do my alternate finisher. I guess the Sambo Suplex is just fucked or something.
  3. Well in his defense, they were my signature in my last match =P I have this one finisher I really want to use called the Sambo Suplex. The problem is that it isn't in my list of finishers. I have hundreds of moves there but Sambo Suplex is just missing. I see it in the Alternate Finishers section though. Anyone have any idea how I can make it my regular finisher? Even when its set to alternate finisher, I can never seem to do it, even if my main two finishers are ground submissions; it still doesn't kick in my alternate finisher.
  4. Yeah my two kicks to the head is my impact finisher. I hit it twice before going for the sub. I totally understand what you mean though when you say you didn't get the MMA feel from Scofield. I was disappointed with the moves that happened in this match. I had just revamped my entire moveset to have one chain grapple be Muay Thai, one Judo, and one hybrid. Unfortunately I was really only able to show like three moves in this match. I kept getting reversed so none of those really came out much. Also just for clarification, I was under the impression that after one reversal from the chain grapple, you're not allowed to reverse anymore? I started doing it like that but after seeing my opponent not doing it, I dropped it also. Maybe I read that from some outdated rules section? I'm not sure where I saw it.
  5. Thanks for the critiques. Both the entrance and the moveset was actually entire revamped after that match. I also didn't like them at all. I actually did land two finishers before the hells gate but it was such a basic judo throw that it didn't even look like it. That's all been fixed. New finishers, new signatures. As for the attire, I have no idea who Our Hero is or what he looks like, and I actually haven't seen Brock Lesnar in WWE, only in UFC, so it's entirely coincidental if I have similar attire. I think it's just that both Lesnar and my CAW are going for modern MMA-style fighters and that just happens to be basic MMA shorts. I'll see about how I can switch it up a bit though. Thanks.
  6. Uh.. for my match maybe I'm retarded and missing it but I'm only seeing the entrances, not the match..
  7. Backstage at HOPLITE 65: Elite MMA. Eric 'Reflex' Scofield is sitting on a steel chair, peeling layers of hand wraps off of his wrists. His face is bruised, and spots of blood are still seen even though it was mostly wiped off. An interviewer from the organization comes up to him. Interviewer: Eric Scofield, do you have a minute for some questions? Scofield: Yeah, shoot. Eric stands up, ready to answer questions. Interviewer: First of all, congratulations on that performance. Eric nods. Interviewer: Even though you didn't win against the champion, it was clear to the fans and to all the other fighters that you are a force to be reckoned with, leading the fight all the way to the judges decision. Do you think you did anything wrong in that fight? If so, what would you have done differently? Scofield: It's not a matter of what could I have done differently, what happened, happened. People figured I'd lose in the first round, I took it all the way to the fifth, and he still wasn't able to finish me. That's a win in my book. Interviewer: Where do you go from here? Do you want to get a rematch as soon as possible, or are the rumors about you moving up a weight class true? Scofield: Uh.. I wasn't sure when I was going to announce this, but I may as well do it now. I'm retiring from MMA. Interviewer: You're retiring from MMA for good? Scofield: Yeah, I am. Interviewer: Is this a result of your performance tonight? Scofield: Win or lose tonight, the decision was already made. My place just isn't here. Interviewer: Are you going back to competing at Judo? Scofield: No, I'm actually.. I'm actually going to OCW. I've been talking with some of the bosses over there. Interviewer: ..OCW.. the professional wrestling organization? Scofield: Yeah. MMA isn't MMA anymore. Everyone I fight here does Muay Thai and BJJ and that's it. The old sport where the best of different fighting styles would face off is long gone. It's not the place to be the best fighter in the world. Hell, I can't even fight someone if he's a few pounds bigger or lighter than me. This isn't where I prove myself. I prove myself by bringing my fighting skills into a ring with no rules, and fight against some of the biggest guys on the planet. Interviewer: Is this decision final? Eric 'Reflex' Scofield is officially retired from mixed martial arts? Scofield: Eric 'Reflex' Scofield is officially retired from fighting under the rules of MMA, yeah, but I'm not done fighting. The next time you see me fighting, it'll be in a ring where there are no judges decisions, there is no "waiting 6 months to get a fight", and there are some of the best fighters in the world ready to scrap at a moments notice. That's where I'll be. Anyone who likes watching what I do now can follow me there. My careers isn't ending, it's just starting. Interviewer: Well, I'm sure we're all shocked by this news but good luck to you. Scofield puts his hand on the microphone and the interviewer lets go. He looks directly into the camera. Scofield: And now this one is for all the fighters watching this in the OCW locker room. I'm not gonna sit on my ass and wait for a promoter to find someone to fight me. I'm not looking to pad my record by fighting cans, or to sit at the bottom tier for months. Consider this an open challenge. Any of you that think your skills can match up to mine, you call your boss, and you tell him that you want to test me. You may have fought submission specialists before, and you may have fought strikers before, but you haven't fought someone with the entire tool set I possess. Come try your wrestling moves on me. See how effective they are, because when I step into that ring, I'll be using every tool I have to prove that I'm the best. He hands the mic back to the interviewer and walks off. The interviewer looks back at the camera. Interviewer: Well, you heard it here first. Eric 'Reflex' Scofield has retired from mixed martial arts and is moving to the OCW.
