  2. I have to agree with Smythe. I was so focused on my review that I forgot to mention that. Matches are quite long. We're talking 14-18 minutes of in ring action. It is quite dramatic to see the kick outs but I know from playing online that I can legit kick out of 3-4 finishers before using resilency (which I understand is only for champions). It does make finishers not seem quite so impactful. Especially with reversal causing damage, I think there needs to be something in place. Maybe just force everyone to lower their pin kick out or maybe only allow one shot after you kick out the first finisher. If you miss once, you don't get to try again. It just seems like with the way matches are looking, every match is almost on PPV level because on a normal wrestling program, only in the main event (and that's only sometimes) does someone kick out of a finisher....especially two.
  3. I liked the opening segment. I love the way Nathan Carter implements the announce team in his promos. Great attention to detail all around. Yet again, a great promo. Stating his purpose and keeping with the “interesting” gimmick. It’s interesting to see a new guy open up a program. I liked the promo and the recap from the week. Keep it up…good things may be coming his way. First match. Interesting bout here. Rane at the beginning stages really dominated this match and it looked like it was going to be a dominating victory but give Crossbones credit where credit is due. He would not go away. He took a lot of punishment and those kick outs were dramatic. The back and forth towards the end was nice. No sure about some of the things I saw. I thought you weren’t supposed to run and grapple your opponent while they were getting up but I’ll have to double check that. Good starting match for the show and very dramatic match. The next segment I enjoyed. Never sneak up on a black man like that mang. Love his description of Carter here. I couldn’t imagine wrestling an oiled up porn star but nonetheless…a good promo. The Justin Raze promo was solid as well. Seems like a of people are doing the “creepy” style gimmick. I thought this was the direction but I was wrong and I liked the way he put the spin on this one. I thought it was about to super religious but it took a nice spin. He showed toughness and used religion to make a statement and I like that. I’m still studying up on characters so I’ll be paying attention. Bishop seems quite large to be moving the way he was. Saw a lot of running and even saw a second rope move. For a character that size and that build, I wouldn’t agree with running around and running attacking so much. Seems like more of a powerhouse mauler. Like a bigger version of Raze. Pretty good match and I’ll read other comments to see if all the rules were followed. Yeah but those headbutts tho. Good showing by both. Good promo from Ron to explain why he was put in that position. Just a working man chasing a dream. I like it. A lot can come from a guy with everything to gain and nothing left to lose. Going all in. Touche. Good promo. Illimuniti is an interesting character. Another I don’t know much about yet and I am curious to see his style in the ring. Short promo but the point came across very clear. Adapt or die. Good stuff. AC Cobra was pretty short as well but I did like the spin on what G-Unit stands for. Would have like to saw more from the promo but not much to say when you have a match. The match confused me. I thought Nathan had come out earlier and said he wasn’t wrestling tonight. Still though, really enjoy this guys promos. It is quite entertaining. Nice to have a character like that. I like this match. Really liked that ddt spot at the beginning. Great match. I like AC Corbra’s style in the ring. Fast pace but not all over the place. Good showing by both and a nice match all around. The Buddy promo was very funny. I actually laughed out loud while reading it. Short, funny looking dude….greatest description ever. I like Smythe’s style. Very cocky, very confident, and a show stealer. Again, the justification for the replacement is pretty good in character so hats off for that. He’s basically making his claim and telling everyone they are there to see him. I like it. The Monster is another very interesting character and when I get some time, I really need to read up on some characters here. I didn’t like the placement of the RP only because the promo was quite similar to Smythe’s in not only content, but length. The direction was good and the ending was better. Good promo and nice way to move away from “saving OCW” and making the promo different than Smythe’s. Matsuda came out on a mission. Reminded everyone of who he was and then dared anyone to face him. Seems like a real in your face type and not backing down from anyone. Interested to see who’s gonna step up to him. The build up idea of Trance vs Raze is getting better and better. Really like how loyal he is and I like how he seems to be the person in the tournament who is going to ensure that Trance keeps the title. This story keeps getting better and next week will be interesting. Not sure where this Mugen and Minio story is going but I’m sure that’s because I don’t know the past yet. Looks like someone is coming back soon. I loved the interaction with the woman there. Quite funny. Buffness. LMAO. That was a great way to start a promo. I laughed throughout the whole thing. Dude is like “Man, fuck this dark shit son.” Good stuff but I do need to see more to understand the character a little bit better. The final match was entertaining. Watching Pugh run over KD was freaking hilarious. Saw some nice little spots. Really liked the back body drop onto the steel steps. Good match by both. Not sure of some of the moves that were done to KD due to the obvious size difference, but I know everyone doesn’t adjust moves per match. Good show again everyone and I’m pretty excited about what’s to come. Not sure why so many matches had commentary still on but I ended up listening to music while I watched.
  4. Part 2 The Mugen promo was pretty good. Got some cheap pops and took some shots at the GM. I liked it. Short but to the point. The Smythe promo was interesting. He’s too good to wrestle in a venue this small. Pretty nice. Not sure what the real story is but in character, great heel tactic. Making himself to sound too good for cheap TV. I liked the match with Raze and portman. I was a little confused with Portmans moveset. Not sure if he was a powerhouse, brawler, or roughneck. I like Raze’s style. Smash mouth and hard hitting. Not too many flashy moves but effective. It was a solid match and I can see match flow in this game is much better. Not sure who got KO’d by security but I guess after getting super kicked and damn near elbowed to death, it was time for retaliation. Flyboy messed with the wrong one. Matsuda is a character I’m quite interested in. He speaks intelligently and demands his presence is felt. And besides. What does everybody want? “KIIIIIICKS” What does everybody need? “KICKS” All you need is a kick in the face. Very short promo but nicely done. Pugh vs Crowe was a decent match. I like the Show off style of Pugh. A whole lotta flash. The match itself flowed very good. The reversal animations being different helps a lot because I was honestly shocked at the number of reversals in the match itself. These two play good off each other. Seems kind of small to do a pedigree but it’s fitting because it’s not a lifting move. Match seemed short but was still a good one. The hooded man and the monster scene was really interesting. Not sure who either of these two are but I like where the story is going. The monster who is now just a relaxed, law-abiding family and the man trying to bring the monster back. Not sure of what’s going on but I like the direction. Seems like the monster of which the hooded man is expecting in almost ready to go. Interesting. Not too sure of what to take from that scene with Xander. Pretty cut and dry and short so we’ll see where it leads. AC Cobra made me have a terrible flashback. I remember returning a game I paid $40 for and they tried to give me like 5 bucks. So pissed. Interesting to see all the stories of what everyone has been doing since the shut down. Very interesting talk between Raze and Trance seeing that these two could possibly face off. Kind of reminds me of when Batista won the Rumble and Trips was convincing him to not face him. I get the vibe that Trance isn’t really worried about facing Raze or worried that Raze won’t do as he should….but Trance is putting a lot of pressure on Raze because he basically told him that he needs to win this tournament. All I gotta say is, I hope Raze does because it sure doesn’t look good if he doesn’t. I liked the main event as well. I didn’t like seeing the same combo twice tho. That corner smash into turnbuckle followed with the Alley oop bomb. Not sure who’s idea is it but it’s a nice combo if it’s only seen once. Good match tho. Saw a lot of high flying from quite a large competitor but athleticism has no restrictions. Second rope swanton caught me off guard. I liked the flow and I liked how Buffness went from flashy to beat down in a split second. I wasn’t a fan of seeing clotheslines as I was hoping to make that my thing but it was nice to see a little of Mugen. Would have liked to see more of his moveset but a solid match and I do fancy that packaged piledriver. Overall, really good show. Pretty excited to be here and get going as matches look a lot better than I’ve seen in a while. Did see a lot of people using the same moves. Some guys moves didn’t fit too good and others were perfect. Would like to see more people with exclusive moves and I’m sure that will happen over time. Nice way to kick off the season.
  5. That explains a lot. Still a good promo tho
  6. I'm a little iffy on the commentary so far but I get that it's still new so I won't go too much into detail on it but I will say it's a nice touch. I don't know who is who yet off of voices so I will just get into what I've seen so far. I really enjoyed the way the show opened. Hero coming out and giving the explanation of losing the TV deal and being in smaller venues was gold. It was very well done and nicely put together. Makes me feel like quality of matches will change due to “trying to get back to MSG status.” Really well done and nice way to start with announcing the world title match out of nowhere. I liked how Trance came out and pointed the finger immediately and then reminded everyone who the champ was. He comes off as cocky but menacing and calculating. Seems like the type of guy who would enjoy removing someones tooth with a spoon. The match itself was great too. I enjoyed the back and forth story. I get the feeling they have faced each other in the past. I loved the ending as well. Think it said a lot. Showed the champion is still dominate but didn’t bury Aries in the process. Good return, good match and good way to kick off the show. Really excited about the World Title Tournment as a lot of stories can come out of that. I really liked the spoken RP. I know from experience those aren’t as easy as it appears and hats off for going with it. Nice added touch and I look forward to hearing more of them. I thought the match fit well with the promo. Seems like 7 years of frustration was taken out lol. Can you say top rope moonsault? Very brutal match, very physical and fun to watch. It’s nice to see a smaller guy play keep way and catch in a match. Very well done match though it was quite decisive. Did a lot for character build which to me is very important. Nothing says “I’m here” like randomly super kicking a guy. Man that was funny. Felt bad for that guy. He’s just doing his job, investigating suspicious characters and then he got kicked in the face. Poor guy. The whole Cut-Throat thing confused me. At first I thought it was a metaphor. Like Thumb wrestling stood for something else but as I kept reading, I realized this truly was about thumb wrestling. I’m pretty confused on it and I’m sure I would have to do some research to figure out the character a little better. I’m not sure if it was a joking or creepy thing but from the entrance, I thought he would be more creepy than funny. We’ll see what happens. Nathan Carter is quite entertaining. The gimmick is quite different from your typical ladies man and I like it. Very entertaining promo that I could have read for a while. It’s one of those “I can’t believe he’s actually saying this” kind of promos. I also loved how the gimmick carried over into the match. Great choice of moves lol. Really liking the character and I liked the match. I would say there should have been more pin attempts versus just standing there but other than that, good showing. Excited to see where Carter goes. Not sure what’s going on with Pacifica but I get the feeling dude has been in max chill mode but has gotten bored with the layed back lifestyle and is excited to return but doesn’t wanna show it too much. We shall see what happens and hopefully I get to learn more about the veterans here. Ryu also confused me. I’m not sure what these backstage security did to piss off the roster but dude was relentless. It’s bad when you a pummeling someone. It’s worse when you talking to him while doing it. About to read the Mugen segment and give my feedback on the rest of the show once I’m done since I’m at work and our server is down but our internet work.

  9. I haven't had internet since Sunday and won't have it until Wednesday. I don't want u guys thinking I'm a flake. I'm here, but fuck Cox.
  10. I know the morphing was off and I'm sorry. My data was deleted and it took me weeks to get his morph, skin, and face morph right and had one day to try to get it back to what it was. The legs are the kick pads. They damn near double your leg size and I will remove them for the final version. To put his size in perspective, think of Cesaro except with longer legs. Big enough to throw but small enough to be agile. I'm only halfway through the show and Ima finish the rest when im off work but I really like what I'm seeing so far
  11. Yo.

When can we do our match?

I'm available mon-fri after 5 pm pacific and all day on weekends

  12. I love the New animation for it. I used it in some online matches and it works. You can have it. I'm gonna use a move that should be a finisher. The Nasty Plex aka. The perfect plex and if that's taken, I'm going with the Dragon suplex. Any other update on the rules?
  13. I can respect someone else using it. Plus, can't do my lift combo anyway so I had to get creative. If it's in use, I will change my finisher. Fireman's Carry Cutter. Also, what is the minimum for a stat?
