Bruce Lee Didn't have to jump people in the dark.

Okay, I'll keep going. Quick stat before I go: Ace Angel has only ever won two matches... his opponent on both occasions? That'd be Justice. The people would pay to see a third match. -I'm not buying Matsuda's "terrifying" new incarnation. He's 5'6 and 95lbs soaking wet - that's why he had big guys in LOTUS in the first place. He better start adding to his fleet, otherwise we've got an early contender for worst storyline of the year. That being said, DJesus stylin and profilin in the image of our Lord Black Jesus christ is unmissable. I don't appreciate being assaulted by japanese Coheed and Cambria on the soundtrack. That being said, it was a good match. The OMG ending was pretty good - needed to be done to completion though, there should have been a pin there, before the arena chapel emptied. -I said last week, I like The Takeover - potentially a great little stable. For a moment, I thought Dan Syndrome had risen from the grave (look him up) in that fucking gasmask. Also, Gas mask is built like the thing. Their opponents... well they're the strangest coupling in the universe. Personally, I think The Takeover should be up against one of the many emerging tag teams, not some random pairing of psychopaths... we want to promote the tag division right? -Gibbs fucks shit up. He'd be World Champion if OCW didn't hate black guys... Storm hits a massive spinebuster after all of about 15 seconds... Gibbs cares not for it. Pattern of the match. Gibbs is a beast, and cannot be stopped. Parker's title legacy COULD be in jeopardy -KD turns up, suspiciously wearing a completely different attire than he was wearing 2 pages ago. GIVE THIS MAN A TITLE SHOT. Beast Mode. Hate the Cena attire though. -Dimsmore can't be trusted. Never turn your damn back on him... or The Steve. -Hospital bit dragged. A lot. Strange way to end the show. Hope its going someplace.

This is exciting news. Now Jookie will have someone else in the Ex Division he can't beat
-
Wait wait wait... Ghost got fired - why is he getting a "second chance", but he has to win it in some sand covered shitter league? More importantly, i'm pretty sure Ahmed Al Hassan or whatever has already been announced as an OCW signing, making this segment all the more confusing. The Radio promo was nice however, so that balances it out for me. BTW - Does anyone remember when we used to feud? Good times.

I seriously wanted the hospital segments to be this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53LMIIVj8vs

Smythe has the biggest "Make me tap out" target on his back right now. It's a shame, because it's not a legitimate way of winning.

You're in the minority kiddo

To the match or The death of an icon?

It's called "Broken capture device". You can probably replicate the atmosphere by standing on your capture device. Or its horrendous compression on the video.

His name is La Justicia, or "The Justice" - the spawn of Wrestling Parents, his mother a Japanese Wrestler, his father a celebrated Luchadore. He brings Justice to the wrestling ring by quelling evil, all while wearing the mask he was gifted as a 14 year old. He also has a wrestling sister, Lady Justice, who occasionally will appear on LADIES NIGHT

Actions speak louder than words! Like i was saying the other day, OCW was on a roll, and this week's enforced break has kinda killed the momentum. We've lost a week going into End Games, and we've lost 2 Asylums, so we've got some work to do to pick up the pace again. That being said, this was a good show - not sure about the placement of matches. Suda is in the "Main" storyline, yet he's turning up on page 2... proving the doubters of "new Lotus" right? Hopefully we get a card today and we can get back on track. PS - Jookie is gonna get ended by mad dog Romero
-
Regan... Did you just call Half Japanese, Half Mexican Wrestler of the Year 2003 and the greatest Luchadore ever to appear on OCW programming "Justin"?. Justice. His name is Justice.

Queen Latifah should perform the National Anthem at the start of every show

I ain't being down on you man, you know I'll do a match when I'm around. It was more aimed at others. The "SURE I'LL DO SOMETHING" brigade that showed up at the inception of Unleashed and basically did fuck all. If you have no intention of being reliable/available to do Bombshells every time Suda asks it of you, don't say you will. That's where I'm driving with it
-
Don't read this as me being down on the Bombshells, I'm totally not, but here's the problems I forsee. A) The Youtube "experiment" Unleashed didn't go that well - only 4 people ever contributed, and they're the same 4 people who I'm pretty sure will contribute to this - the same 4 people who could be "burnout" if there is a roster split B) Having a pecking order (and possibly a title) means that shows need to be booked - and if the same 4 people are the only guys contributing, then we're going to have seen all the matches possible within a few weeks. People say "Ohhh I wanna do a match", but when we get right down to it, nobody can be arsed - same reason there's no discussion/character progression on most episodes of Riot/Asylum. We had that exact problem with Unleashed. Like I said, I'm not being down on it for the sake of being down on it - I'm just spitting reality from experience. Unleashed bombed, even though its fun to make, it's effectively 4/5 guys doing anything for it every week and the rest of the roster just turns up to moan about shit, and it's not sustainable in the long term if only a few guys care. I hope that doesn't happen to the bombshells.

Difference between validating an argument and "Wall of Text". If you want to POINT OUT TEH FLAWS IN ANEWZ then feel free, but expect me to argue my own case. If you just accept that you're reading a frivolous "Dirt sheet" post, rather than crying about the technicalities that you perceive to be incorrect, we'll all have more fun.

Wow. You're really going out of your way to be right here aren't you? If a plane is mid flight, it will be diverted. If a Plane has yet to leave (popular US places that fly to Manchester include Philly, Vegas [via Philly], Florida and New York). Roughly 8 hours a flight (more for connecting flights from Philly). At the time of posting, Riot was atleast 29 hours away (assuming the show started roughly 8pm Local time). Since most of the talent is still in the US due to their Riot and Asylum commitments, they'd (probably) be given time off to spend at home, due to the fact they're about to embark on an overseas tour, and it's a concession that any big corporation would allow. Therefore it's not implausible that, since their next show commitment is Riot on Thursday night in Manchester, they'd fly late on Tuesday/Early Wednesday US time. Since Manchester Airport was aware of the problem before the press were, it's highly likely that the airlines all had that information hours before anybody else. If you left New York for example (depending on timezones obviously this would change) at 8am on Wednesday morning, you'd arrive at 20:00 BST - 2 hours after the airport had officially "Run out of fuel". Since the news arrived in press rooms around the country at roughly 13:00 BST, it's safe to assume that the airlines were aware of the problem even earlier than that, meaning that a judgement call would have to be made. Cancel the flight, and honour the tickets of those affected either later that day when the problem was rectified (via a delayed flight) and not have to spend any extra money, or send the plane, divert it to a different airport (which would already be accepting flights from europe/elsewhere that had been diverted), provide each passenger with a minibus/taxi/some other means of travel to their destination as a courtesy (at a large cost) and not be able to run your normal service from Manchester airport later in the day (although delayed). It makes much better economic sense to hold off on sending the plane initially - deal with the passengers you already have ready to fly, than to deal with 2 sets of angry passengers at both ends. Also it's fictional.

Y'all can just call me Barbara Gordan, because I'm the muthafuckin' Oracle. Let this be a lesson to all the detractors - Pugh's News is always right.

Planes operate to a schedule of refuelling. If they cannot refuel at an airport, they may choose to divert in order to meet their next flight out. When a plane is on a runway, it is cleaned and refuelled. If it can't refuel, it won't set off from the airport it is due to depart, because it wouldn't be able to leave the destination airport until the fuel problem is rectified. Costing the company money, as that plane is stranded away from base. Much better not to send it in the first place.

According to sources at Manchester Airport in the United Kingdom, OCW's live televised Riot show could be cancelled due to OCW not being able to get talent into the UK. This is caused by a lack of fuel at Manchester Airport, after a problem was discovered with the direct fuel flow from Essar refinery at Stanlow near Ellesmere Port - resulting in several airlines diverting or cancelling their flights. OCW Riot is scheduled to take place at the Manchester Arena, in the centre of Manchester, roughly 8 miles from the airport. OCW officials remain hopeful that the show will go on - even if it means that some talent will miss the event. This isn't a problem for staff, as they arrived on Monday morning, but could be problematic for several arriving Wrestlers. As of right now, Manchester Arena are still promoting the show, and those with Tickets have been reassured that there are enough OCW wrestlers on hand to provide them with a show. Update: OCWFED.com can confirm that OCW Champion Tiberius Dupree, OCW International Champion Dimsmore and Manchester native Paul Pugh are all in the City, confirmed via their twitter feeds. All three are advertised locally as appearing in the Main Event tomorrow night.

Show made my head hurt. MORE CONTENT DAMMIT!

Plan your week properly, and you're fine. Taking this week as an example, Monday Dims and I spoke, agreed what we'd do for each show and did it. KD might be on to something with a loose brand split

Wow look at that - a show full of content, again... and hopefully the seeds are being sewn for feuds. Something I don't like, and I'm sure it'll improve - Smythe and Arnaud. You're just there, every show, doing pointless RPs. There's only so long you can talk crap backstage without actually doing anything. I'd argue you're at that point now, and you need to get something decent going, or risk losing people's interest. It's a cool idea, but you need to have rivals, otherwise whats the point? I really like that the Roster is teaming up though. Having 4/5 solid tag teams would be ideal, as it'd provide a decent cycle of competition for the Champions... we just need that to return to the EX and Hardcore division, and we've got a ball game. Also, I'd like to thank Dimsmore for being an asshole. I wasn't sure if we'd gel feud wise, me being an obnoxious english narcissist and him being a badass monster. Luckily - we are doing, and it feels like we're doing something good here. The Takeover have good looking CAWs. Obviously, I don't really know which is which just yet, but they seem to work pretty well, so they're cool. Tibby vs The Steve II needs to happen soon - THE STEVE WERE ROBBED. Or Choked... He chokes a lot. A week ago, Black Spider was a badass, now he's Matsuda's Igor? His Harley Quinn? Either way, him "playfully" arriving was great. Our Hero going apeshit was classic. Still the "main event" despite hardly ever wrestling a match.... that's talent Trance and Storm, you'll be hearing from my lawyers.

RP blocked again! Reese, Dimsmore is black... Do you hate black people? Is that why you always forget our RPs?
