Trevor McManus Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 *A nurses station is seen with several of the workers conversing. One of them picks up a chart and lets out a sigh.* Nurse A: Have to go see 247 again. Nurse B: Good lucky, remember, he still doesn’t get out of here. *The nurse with the chart walks down the hall and stops at one of the private recovery rooms. She knocks and enters. The television/video combo is showing last week’s episode of OCW Riot. In the bed lies Trevor McManus. His neck is in a protective collar.* Nurse A: How are we feeling today Mr McManus? *Trevor pauses the TV with the remote and shifts his eyes to the nurse without moving his head.* Trevor: I’m fine. You can discharge me. Nurse A: We’ve told you. All you need to do is walk to the nurse’s station and discharge yourself. If you can’t do that then you’re going nowhere. *Trevor un-pauses the TV and shifts his eyes over to it. The nurse takes some notes in her chart.* Nurse A: What are you watching? *Trevor sighs and pauses the TV again and moves his eyes back to the nurse.* Trevor: OCW Riot, from last week. Nurse A: Again? You’ve watched that all day, every day since you were admitted. Trevor: It’s important. I need to scout people and see why I ended up here. Nurse A: You’re much more committed to your job than the average person I’ll give you that much. *Trevor turns the TV off.* Trevor: This isn’t just a job. This is a way of life. You know that feeling you get when you know you’ve made a difference at the end of your shift? Nurse A: Of course, I’m a nurse. Trevor: Well I get that at the end of every show I do. Everyone that comes to see the show leaves happy and I’ve played some part in that. Then you have guys like APEX… *The nurse looks at him blankly.* Trevor: They’re not very nice men. You have guys like them trying to turn the company in to something it’s not supposed to be, something dark. The company is supposed to bring enjoyment and entertainment to the people, it’s not there to fulfil your own ego. Trevor: Look you have to let me go to the show this week. I can’t lie here and let them win. Nurse A: There is absolutely no way we’re letting you walk out that door. Trevor: What you’re saying is there’s no way I’m getting out of this bed to go to the arena for Riot this week? No way I can walk out? Nurse A: Exactly. Trevor: Then wheel me out. Wheel me to the damn arena in my bed. I am not going to miss this show. I have a duty to fulfil as number one contender to be there. Trevor: I won’t let them run Riot in to the darkness while I sit here and watch. *Shot fades.* 4 http://positivesharing.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/complaining.jpg [23:39] locoNY911: You get solace in the fact you arent a fuck up. 2k9's better than 2k8. Like being shot in the knee is better than being shot in the head. - Guy Fausto [18:40] locoNY911: I mostly aggree with your statements
Cody Storm Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 I like your character (I hope you don't mind the comparison here), for the same reason I like Cena. He's not just going to give up. You were tossed spine first off a cell and still hobbled down to ringside to try and get at Parker. Even more commendable you did it to save someone you obviously don't like. I like that kind of character, I'm a sap for the righteous.
Tiberius Dupree Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 that's what I'm talking bout Trev. represent the good in OCW. short and sweet, nice rp Mr. McManus. "You either die a hero or live long enough to become Nate Ortiz" - Drago Cesar "Let me make myself clear: you work for me. If I tell you to fight Blaine, you fight Blaine. Hell, if I tell you to fight a lion, you WILL fight a lion and still thank me afterwards for giving you a job." - Mr. Sensation
