Champion Biography: Cody Storm was born in Detroit Michigan, but his stay there would not last long. Around the time that Cody was five, his mother and father would divorce. Cody and his mother would move to Maryland, while his brother, Jake, and their father would stay in Detroit. The divorce was traumatic enough that Storm blocked it out as he grew older. His mother soothed him by telling him that God was his father. Most would assume she was speaking figuratively, but being the emotional wreck that he was, Cody took her words literally. Any opinion or evidence against this newly formed fact would be met with strong opposition and, on more than one occasion, violence. Cody Storm made his way to OCW as part of the great rookie influx of 2011. While most joining the company during this time would be sent to Ambition, where the likes of Tiberius Dupree, Dimsmore, Ryu Matsumoto, Patolomai, and Matsuda would form the tight knit core of the "Ambition Era", Storm would show up on Riot and defeat returning veteran, Josiah Cross, for a roster spot on OCW's flagship show. Most of his first year was spent trying to find his place in the back; Storm would form a short lived tag-team with Brandon Hostile, come close to beating former World Champions Aries and Trevor McManus on separate occasions, have a very brief stint with the Television Championship, and win the Future Investment in his first Wrestlelution match (Wrestlelution VI). The end of Storm's first tenure in OCW would come quickly after his big F.I. win as he grew frustrated and in a spat with OCW owner Mr. Sensation would be unceremoniously thrown out of the company. Cody was thrown into a dumpster and driven out in the busy New York street where he was most likely hit by at least one car. All of this coming after being attacked backstage by Patolomai who stole his F.I. briefcase. In the summer of 2012 Cody Storm would return to OCW to form a tag team with Jacob Trance. Cody's fickle nature would rear its ugly head again as Storm would bring in his brother, Jake Storm, his wife Cherese Lee-Storm, and turn on Jacob Trance before The Storms would set their sights on OCW Tag Team Champions: The A-Team. It wouldn't take long before The Storms would grab the attention of the champions, but Jake Storm was a no show on the evening the title match was to be held. Cody entered the ring opposite The A-Team and did the best he could on his own, but the company would later decide the match was not fit for T.V. This match-that-never-was would be the first in a set of events leaving Storm once again frustrated and feeling under utilized: Over the next month or so, Storm, Sean McGee, and K.D'Angelo found themselves on the receiving end of several sneak attacks. Each man suspected the others and they would spend their time interrogating and intimidating each other right into a triple threat match at the 2012 edition of Chill Faktor. The match ended when Cody Storm slammed K.D. with the Hebrew Hammer as McGee looked on. After the match, as K.D. got to his feet, footage would roll showing that it was Storm and McGee who attacked D'Angelo backstage in the prior weeks. They had faked their own attacks to throw off any suspicion. The duo would lay D'Angelo out once more after the match, attacking him with steel chair shots as a returning Leonheart watched on applauding. Thus Cerberus was born. Cerberus was formed out of the mutual discontent of Storm and McGee regarding their place in the company. Leonheart returned to mentor them and help them achieve their potential. He would start by helping his proteges force their way into the business of, then Hardcore champion, Paul Pugh and, then International Champion, Tyro Kraven. A tag team match was set up between the two sides, if Pugh/Tyro lost then the person that was tapped out/pinned would be forced to put their title on the line at the 2013 edition of The Clash. If Pugh and Tyro won, Cerberus would be banned from interfering as the two champions would put their titles on the line in a one on one match. Tyro would end up being pinned and the International Championship put on the line in what was essentially a glorified 1 v 1 v 2 elimination match as Cerberus would use their numbers advantage to first eliminate Paul Pugh, then Tyro, and then settle the match between themselves to crown a new champion. Cody Storm would eliminate each man himself, becoming the new International Champion. Cody would continue his run as International Champion as the 2013 King of OCW tournament began. Cody would make his to way to the final night of the tournament at OCW's Road 2 Glory by defeating Jookie Marley, then Tobin Frost in the semi-finals, and Jacob Trance in the finals to become OCW's King of the Ring (and thus far the last crowned King). This match between Cody Storm and Jacob Trance would prove to reignite the feud between the two as Jacob would go on to become the number one contender to Cody's International Championship. The Riot after the KOCW tournament concluded Cody Storm would come out for his coronation, only to be surprise attacked by Jacob Trance. Trance tied Cody up in the ropes and broke Cody's new crown into a jagged mess. Trance would pick up the contorted metal and stab it into Cody's head, effectively crucifying Storm with his crown of thorns, taking a jab at his proclaimed lineage. Jacob would go on and dub himself wrestling's anti-christ, the foil to Cody's Son of God. The two would face off at Wrestlelution VIII in a Through Hell match where a winner could only be determined after one of the competitors was thrown through the top of the Steel structure. Cody would put Jacob Trance through Hell and retain his title, but his trouble with Trance wouldn't end there. Mr. Sensation found Storm and his constant complaining about not being given his fair shake at main eventing to be abrasive. Further angered by Storm's retention of the title, Sensation would order a Wrestlelution rematch on the next Riot (albeit this one a regular singles match). Cody would beat Jacob Trance twice in one week, but would not walk out of Riot that night with the championship. After the match Mr. Sensation would walk down to the ring and personally strip Storm of his championship before shoving a pink slip into his hands. The Son of God wouldn't be kept out for long, being brought back into the company by his Cerberus teammate, Leonheart, the two would team up to challenge the A-Team for the OCW Tag Team Championships at 2013's Summercide. The match would end in controversial fashion as a referee involved himself a little too directly in the match, stepping in front of Cody as he tried to finish off Mez Murdock. Mez would take advantage of the distraction by booting Storm in the face before he could even figure out what was happening. After the match Leon and Cody found themselves at odds eventually leading to Leon's departure from Cerberus. Sean McGee and Cody Storm would continue Cerberus on their own for the next few months, but eventually found themselves at odds as the two men each tried to climb their way up the OCW ranks to the main event. Storm reminded management that he had never received his OCW World Championship shot that he earned by winning the King of OCW crown, and despite being fired from the company earlier, management decided that they would honor his shot at a later date. Sean McGee grew jealous and pushed Cody again and again until Storm was so focused on fighting McGee one on one that McGee was able to convince Cody to put his title shot on the line. The brawl would be long and bloody, but Cody would come out on top. Cody would receive his title match at Riot 370 against World Heavyweight Champion Paul Pugh. It was little secret that there was no love lost between the World Champion and his challenger. The two had been at odds backstage since Cerberus had stuck its nose in Pugh's business with Tyro. Pugh ditched his normal ring gear for this match, opting instead to wear a plain black singlet in an effort to get inside his challengers mind and mock him. Rather than submit to the mind games, Storm channeled his anger and became OCW's new World Heavyweight Champion, only the fourth different champion in the past two years. The fans hated Cody Storm. Cries of "boring" were shouted everywhere he went. He was often compared to Trevor McManus, a man formerly known as the most boring Champion in OCW history. But backstage the response may have been even worse. Cody was a terror in the ring, but it was a widely held belief that he lacked the required charisma to carry OCW. He wasn't the full package. He never should have gotten near the championship. Storm would use this to fuel his competitive nature. Cody knew that if the rest of the roster wasn't going to support him, he was going to have to bring in outside help. Storm invested the help of his friends from federations long past, The Blacklist (consisting of Jonny D and Wheeler), to watch his back. The Blacklist made their Riot debut by donning black masks to obscure their identities and attacking Cody's opponent in his first title defense: Tobin Frost. The duo jumped the barricade on Riot and put Tobin through the announce table. Tobin, not one to back down from a fight, found himself waging psychological warfare with the World Champion. Storm sent The Blacklist to abduct Frost's mentor, trainer, and father figure, Samuel. In an attempt to even the playing field Frost made his way to Maryland and dragged Cody's mother to Riot. He forced Mrs. Storm to step into the ring, face to face with her son, and break the news to him that he was not The Son of God. Tobin threatened to return Mrs. Storm only after Sam was let go. Storm instructed The Blacklist to release Samuel, but it was what he did afterwards the shocked the OCW Universe: after Tobin ran backstage to find his mentor, Cody Storm would pick up and Crucify his own mother. Showing his number one contender that no one and nothing was going to derail his World Championship reign. Frost and Storm would main event Wrestlelution IX in a no-disqualification match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Blood, sweat, and tears would be shed by both men, but Storm would manage to retain after crucifying Frost on top of a set of steel steps. After coming down from the high of successfully retaining the World Championship on the grandest stage of them all, Storm once again found himself in the cross-hairs of one Jacob Trance. Trance sicked his newly formed Family on Storm and The Blacklist, coming out on the post-'Lution Riot to challenge Cody at the next PPV: Damnation 2014. During the leadup to Damnation Cody Storm would lose his first singles match in over a year to a still up-and-coming Drago Cesar before losing his World Championship to Jacob Trance. On the post-Damnation Riot Cody Storm walked to the middle of the ring, stood silently in front of the packed house, and slowly untied his wrestling boots. He tied the laces of the two boots together and left them in the center of the ring, walking back to the backstage barefoot. Cody Storm hasn't been seen in a wrestling ring since. At least not of his own volition.......

Instead of a camera crew following around one of OCW's many talents, or an article declaring the latest news in the OCW universe or the top ten finishing moves of all time, fans doing their hourly check-in on ocwfed.com are greeted with something that looks a little out of place. The top headline simply says "Click Me!" Underneath is a playable video who's still frame picture is of a youtube channel named SuzieShortCake. When one clicks the video, they find that it's a sort of video inside a video. Their eyes follow as someone else's mouse floats up clicks on the only video link posted to the channel thus far: Suzie's 5th Birthday. The time stamp reads "12 hours ago". The video seems to hold true to its title, ten seconds in and the scene looks like any other child's birthday party. Presents stacked by the front door of a suburban home, the foyer filled with young children running to and fro, likely playing any number of versions of 'tag'. In the tradition of many home movies, the scene takes a sudden jump cut. Now we watch as children and parents alike huddle around a long kitchen table with a cake situated at the far end of it... Crowd: .....Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday dear Suzie, happy birthday to you....! The camera stops panning around the singing voices and focuses in on a little girl being held up and forward so that she can get close enough to blow out her candles. Once the candles have been extinguished the girl, Suzie, is pulled back and embraced by a man we can presume to be her father. The camera pans up and holding Suzie in his arms is former OCW Superstar Cody Storm with the kind of smile that only finds its way across the faces of those that are truly content. The camera jumps again. Now we're in Storm's living room. He's situated in the middle of his couch with his wife, Cherese, sitting on his lap. Their friends and family standing and sitting around them, forming a loose circle. ???: You know Cody, I didn't want to say anything while you were still working, but I'm so glad you've since decided to cut your hair short again. That long hair was dreadful. Cherese Lee-Storm: I kept trying to tell him, but he just wouldn't listen to me..... Cherese trails off as Cody shoots her a look. Cody Storm: Thanks Margie, really, much 'preciated. A grin crosses his face as he offers Marge a small wink, letting her know there are no hard feelings. Marge: I've been curious though Cody, why did you leave? The response is slow, between the question and the answer that grin falls from Cody's face. A keen eye catches him lick his lips quickly, nervously, but he seems to have replaced the grin fast enough so as to avoid notice by any of the party goers. Cody Storm: I just missed this one, is all. Cody turns and gives his wife a peck of a kiss on the forehead. A jovial scream comes bounding around the corner and right towards the couch. Cody Storm: AND THIS ONE!!! Cody quickly catches Suzie and hoists her up onto her parents' laps where they torture their daughter with tickles as the video trails off.....

I was originally going to go with divine intervention. God helped Drago to beat me because he wanted to send me a wake up call/Drago could never beat me on his own. But I didn't want to downplay his win and step on Drago in that way, so I tweaked it a little bit.

People lose the A game to me and then reverse my grapple quite frequently. You must be hitting the trigger in the middle of tapping and not realize it, because that will take away your chance to reverse for a certain period of time.

In fact there is a 3 finisher kickout rule. It's like the biggest part of the rules and regulations thread. Except that thread needs to be updated, the rule is on the third finisher you play dead. The thread still has the older rule stating three in a row and you're out. But now it's just three in general.

Excuse me sir! This RP was a joint effort between all three of us where we sat on Google docs for like four hours and talked through what we wanted to do/write. I was involved in just about every part of it! FU :P

I'm recording that match and Drago gets his with the finisher and he's like "well, good match K.D." I said "you can kick out, I believe in you!" He kicks out and watching it, it was like a crazy momentum shift. Drago just started taking it to K.D. To poor K.D.'s credit though, his TV is screwed up and he said a couple times during the match before he was pinned that if Drago hit a finisher on him he probably wouldn't be able to see the kickout bar xD. I'm definitely going to watch Riot tonight after I eat and I'll drop my review upon completion.

I know it's kind of long, but Lution was huge this year. I think I actually appreciate the show more after doing this because I went over just about every move in every match and was able to find at LEAST one markout-able thing in each match of the night. And for an entire 11 match card, that's pretty impressive. Fuck all of you who don't have name plates. And fuck OMG for not having Dupree's Powerbomb-Liontamer combo be a fall! Song choices were made with specific matches in mind, and with Wheeler's help: 1. Busta Rhymes/Linkin Park "We Made It": I feel like most Mania highlight videos have a general roster celebration song, so this was that one. 2. Art of Dying "Get Thru This": We felt like this fit an I Quit match very well. 3. Dre/Eminem "I Need a Doctor": This was chosen for Jay's return to control. 4. Imagine Dragons "Bleeding Out": It seemed to me to represent putting everything into accomplishing a single goal, and that very much describes the OMG blood feud. 5. A portion of Manchester Orchestra's "Pride": This was chosen partially because I felt like if I had to split a song for time purposes, this split well. Also the tempo fit the match well, I love how the song synced up with my punches in the corner.

Oh, I knew I missed something Crowe/Raze: After The Gentleman told Rose he had his eyes on someone else at 'Lution, I don't know if Crowe dragged Raze under the ring to turn him into a vampire and become his teammate, or if he is taking him to hell and beating the shit out of him. So finding out which way that's going should be interesting. Also, I wanted to ask people's opinions on the entrance I tried this week as I'm still not sure how I feel about it.
