Jeremiah Johnson Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Every action has a reaction in this world. Nothing shall ever go unseen. The guilt of corporate extortionists will always poor out onto the streets. The starvation of the homeless is seen on the streets. Are we ever truly aware of what to grasp in life? We are blind in the darkness and in shadow. Like a heard of cattle we are steered and driven in one direction to work and spend our lives aiming for something that is told to us. The way we should go. The paths we should take to "happiness". Pumping gas on the daily, living a work life for what? Materialistic happiness that is put in front of us by TV's and radios. No one ever see's the big picture. While we strive to buy the product of happiness we oversee the fact that we live our lives as just a product. A product of a corporate world and a product of what the rich want us to be. Do we want this or do we need this? 2
Tiberius Dupree Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I don't think the world could handle everyone actually thinking for themselves. Pure Ignorance is Bliss. Yet knowledge is a deadly weapon you can use against yourself and others. "You either die a hero or live long enough to become Nate Ortiz" - Drago Cesar "Let me make myself clear: you work for me. If I tell you to fight Blaine, you fight Blaine. Hell, if I tell you to fight a lion, you WILL fight a lion and still thank me afterwards for giving you a job." - Mr. Sensation
Jeremiah Johnson Posted September 13, 2011 Author Posted September 13, 2011 Everyone is brainwashed and living the grind not really truly happy.
Trevor McManus Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Not everyone can think for themselves they simply don't have the brain capacity to form useful ideas. http://positivesharing.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/complaining.jpg [23:39] locoNY911: You get solace in the fact you arent a fuck up. 2k9's better than 2k8. Like being shot in the knee is better than being shot in the head. - Guy Fausto [18:40] locoNY911: I mostly aggree with your statements
Jeremiah Johnson Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 Pour, not poor. There are other literature failures in here, but you don't care. Oh, yes I'm completely aware. :) I just wanted you to waste your time proof reading my work and then comment about it. Tell me this, if you think I don't care why would you even bother trying to post it? Are you that worried people will think that I have you beat?
Michael Morrison Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Look at that... people reacting to a promo. Will wonders never cease. None the less, it's an interesting topic. When ever I hear people, giving speeches about materialism and the affects it has on society... I always wonder: are they trying to really help people to free themselves of this lifestyle... or are they using the society's subconscious guilt to obtain their own goal? I mean, really, if they feel so differently about said society, there are still places in the world where people live in jungles and have no idea what an iPhone is. Can't be that hard to buy a plane ticket. So what is it, Anonymous: you trying to change society, or simply change who they follow? 2

I mean, really, if they feel so differently about said society, there are still places in the world where people live in jungles and have no idea what an iPhone is. Can't be that hard to buy a plane ticket. So what is it, Anonymous: you trying to change society, or simply change who they follow? Two amazing questions, MMM. Of course, not to leave out your middle topic either: That is actually always an option. 1st question: Hell, every one can be different. Depends on each persons motifs. Personally, I feel that if people are sick enough of one thing they will do their best to avoid it. Its to lean their reality in the way that they want it. My personal beliefs are that everything should be free. People shouldnt be working just for money.. I think if someone has a job, then they should be able to have whatever they want. There are tons of flaws to this though. 2nd question: I'm trying to change who they follow. You can't cut down a tree from the top. You must start at the base or the trunk if you will. Corporate is the top of the tree who is fed by the money of the people at the trunk. Money is like water the top of the tree needs water to survive. So they pitch that the people at the trunk "NEED" this and for the tiny cost of 500$ they can have this years big thing to go out and impress their friends with. Only to next year have a new big thing costing 600$. If you cut the top of the tree's supply lines, the money stops flowing up. Which is good, because in all honesty, once it goes up it never comes back down.
