Just finished reading and watching my first show and have been thoroughly impressed. I am not up to speed with the characters and storylines enough to write a detailed review like some of my peers. Really looking forward to contributing to the community here in full capacity in about a month from now. I would like to be able to record my own content. What gear do I need and about how much am I looking at in cost?

 

To record u need a pinnacle dazzle for around 50 bucks for the standard version.

You will need more than that. You'll need integrity... dedication. You'll need an iron will and balls to match... the ability to answer the call at a moments notice. But most of all, you'll need a job... because, like he mentioned, it cost about $50.

 

There are other options beside the Dazzle: such as the Pinnacle Movie Studio Box (what I use) and Roxio has a very simple one out there as well, but I don't know if it comes with any software for editing.

 

EDIT: Roxio, apparently has a device, specifically made for video game capturing, but that sucker is running for about $82 on Amazon.

Good looks on all the feedback. Money ain't a thing for Omar so I'll be all geared up for when the disc drops on the 22nd

U ain't lying u definitely need more than just the equipment. Recording can get tedious if your the only recorder around the nite before deadline.

    That would be the case but he borrowed a controller and the dazzle so he was on his best behavior when he came by. But the moment he left my hate-dar went haywire. And u of all ppl support his hate by marking it out.
