Eric Scofield Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Rookie Rush: The one thing I really remember about this match is that Eric Scofield is a moron. Kain won because Eric is stupid. Got it. Thanks!

Aiden Ryan Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Michael Hollywood: He sounds so much like other wrestlers. He has his own twist on the nouns he uses, but the verbage is so close to others I kind of don't like it. OThers love you though, so don't let my one negative opinion stop you. You looked good in your match, Aiden really didn't look that great, it waas pretty much a Hollywood match. Thanks for the corrective criticism but, do you mind going more in depth of why I didn't look that great? I would like to be able to correct it for my next match, so I don't make the same mistake. In my opinion I thought out match was pretty good, I didn't think it was one-sided either. In the beginning I did some damage, hit a big spot.. second half of the match he did some damage and hit the awesome finish. Looking forward to hearing your advise so I can make sure not make the same mistake again. The best thing since Sliced Bread.
Michael Hollywood Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 I didn't have a lot of time to go in depth earlier but now I would like to share a rookie review. First off I was a little disappointed that the rookies in the rookie rush ( other than Scofield because I know he was a last minute replacement after Mendihaze flaked ) didn't make this match feel more important through rp's in the weeks leading up to the PPV the match itself wasn't bad and Damien Kain's rp later in the night was really good and put some importance on the match I just wish some of that could have been done leading up though. I wasn't looking forward to the Smythe vs. Mania match because there wasn't any build for it so to me it seemed like a throw away match (if you haven't noticed when it comes to PPV's I think the matches should have a story to them to make them feel special) but when Trance was put into the match he made it part of his story which made me interested in it and I liked the match as well and the beating afterwards was over the top and PPV quality. McGee proved that he is the true voice of treason and his shady attempt at being a face was all a big set up and I can't wait to see how KD gets revenge on his former friend. Pugh and Tyro had a great match that I was looking forward to seeing since the last rp Pugh laid down Riot and they didn't disappoint I loved the match type with the falls for the different titles I remember watching a similar match type a long time ago between chris benoit and kurt angle for the european and intercontinental titles that I loved and haven't seen that type of match used since but i worked really well for this story and I see more great matches between these two very soon. Matsuda's match with Romero was excellent congrats to the OCW villan and his rp's were great tonight and I love the mix of him and Dimsmore together they are very entertaining. The A-team title match turned out to be a better match than I thought it would be but I really think that there needs to be a story around the tag team titles as well or they will become less and less important as time goes by and when and if a team finally beats The A-Team it isn't going to feel special like it should feel. All I can say about the main event is that it was money everyone involved played their parts to perfection and it made the match explode and there is so much more that can be told to this story and I can't wait to see what happens next. 4 1x OCW Television Champion
Jacob Trance Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 You're all in my way, and I just don't have the time today.
Matsuda Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I agree with Hollywood about the rookie rush. It ended up being a big win for Kain, who I think will go somewhere with this momentum, but what you rookies don't understand yet is that Ppv matches aren't just given to you. You may never get another Ppv match again and you have to do something to make it memorable. And the bigger the Ppv, the harder it is to make the cut. If you think your going to have a match at Wrestlution without 2 months of build up you're sorely mistake. Debate with the devil later tonight maybe. Will you guys even use them? 2
