Illuminati
http://www.ocwfed.com/forum/images/bTech/misc/bluepearl-design-logo.png In light of recent events on RIOT, OCW has decided to do an exclusive look at the history of two OCW Superstars. In the entirety of the history of Osaka Pro Wrestling there has been no feud as infamous as the Spider Wars. However in order to fully understand what this feud meant for both of the men involved and ultimately for Osaka Pro Wrestling as a whole we must go back to the very beginning. Early Careers In the early 90s two high school graduates from Sendai Japan, Hideto Matsuda and Ryu Matsumoto, joined the Osaka Pro Dojo where the two of them formed the tag-team The Sendai Drinking Boys. They would establish themselves as crowd favorites and staples of many Osaka Pro Wrestling Event undercards. The two would eventually go undefeated for two years as the UWGP Junior Tag Team Champions. The scene cuts to various scene of the two performing various scene's of them ducking under and over opponents, tandem moves, and pandering to the crowd With their impressive acrobatic feats, flawless team work, and undeniable charisma it wasn't surprising that current UWGP Heavyweight Champion and superstar Tarantula Mishima took interest in their careers; he would extend an invitation to both of the Sendai Drinking Boys to train at his personal Dojo. Birth of the Spiders After accepting Tarantula Mishima's offer to train at his Dojo the two would vacate the UWGP Junior Tag Team Championships and take a year off in order to hone their craft. After that year had finished the two would return to Osaka Pro. Matsuda had fully embraced the teachings of Mishima, becoming a mirror image of his mentor, leaving behind his roots as an aerial ace for a more vicious mat based technique. On the other hand, Matsumoto took the Tarantula style and adapted it to his own aerial style as well as stepping up his showboating to the umpteenth degree. The scene fades to images of Matsuda viciously striking someone in the corner with the ref ultimately having to pull him off. It then cuts Spider doing a showboating to the crowd before hitting a Spider Special, a standing moonsault followed by a standing shooting star press. Year of the Spider After returning from their year off training with Tarantula Mishima, on the day of the Tarantula's retirement, the two Spiders would take Osaka Pro Wrestling by storm, dominating the heavyweight division despite their size. Within a year of their return Matsuda would manage to capture the UWGP World Heavyweight Championship and Matsumoto would manage to capture the UWGP Intercontinental Title. It would be at this point that Tarantula Mishima would utter the words that would bring about the Spider Wars. Matsuda stands in the ring with the UWGP World Heavyweight Championship draped over his shoulder, Matsumoto stood next to him with the belt hanging out of the back of his pants. The crowd goes silent as Tarantula Mishima's music hits. He slowly saunters out and into the ring. MISHIMA: I have brought you out here tonight because I am old, and as an old man I can no longer carry this name... TARANTULA Matsuda and Matsumoto both looked up in awe since they realized the implications of this statement. MISHIMA: However, only one of you can carry the mantle of TARANTULA. I won't decide now, but the decision will come. Prove yourselves to me which one of you is able to cast off their weakness and become the TARANTULA. Mishima steps out of the ring as both Matsuda and Matsumoto staredown, an image that would be forever remembered as the moment the Spider Wars began. To Be Continued... 7 http://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/234976199816773632/299960579206938624/image.png http://ocwfed.tv/recapppv/Award2k16/cyberbully2099.png

Illuminati
http://www.ocwfed.com/forum/images/bTech/misc/bluepearl-design-logo.png The War Begins: I3 Climax At the annual I3 Climax Grand Prix, a tournament held over ten days to decide who the best in Osaka Pro was, Matsuda and Matsumoto would meet in the Finals. Both men, seeing the tournament as an opportunity to impress Mishima would push their bodies to the limit for a victory over the other. Scene cuts to highlights from the match, Matsuda landing a series of stiff kicks to Matsumoto's body, Matsumoto diving out of the ring and onto Matsuda who was attempting to catch his breath, Matsuda busting Matsumoto open with a kendo stick, and finally the controversial finish of the match. Matsumoto had locked Matsuda in the Tarantual Clutch, however Matsuda was able to roll Matsumoto onto his back with his free leg getting the pinfall as he tapped out. Not knowing what to do, the referee would call the match as a draw making this the first and only I3 Climax Grand Prix to not have a champion. The next night Tarantula Mishima would come out to the ring to address the fallout. Mishima stands in the ring, one hand in his pocket as he looks out onto the crowd, a mischievous smile on his face MISHIMA: Very good my Spiders. Last night the two of you showed me that you were willing to push your bodies to their limits to claim the title of TARANTULA. Mishima pauses for a moment for emphasis MISHIMA: But that is not enough. I know the two of you are equals, so the only way one of you can overcome the other is by pushing past your limits. The winner of this war shall be the one willing to go through the fires of hell and grasp the title of TARANTULA with his own two hands. The First Death Match In exchange for receiving the number one contender status for the UWGP World Heavyweight Championship and a second opportunity to win the title of I3 Climax Grand Champion Matsumoto would relinquish his UWGP Intercontinental Championship. During the weeks leading up to the rematch tensions would run high. Matsumoto struts out to the ring as he normally does. He panders to the crowd for a moment before going up the steps and stepping into the ring. SPIDER: OI! (the crowd echoes him) OI! (the crowd echoes him again) Matsumoto looks around at the crowd smiling SPIDER: Oi Oi Oi Oi Oi Oi! OI! SPIDER: There has been a man running his mouth about me, saying that I'm a coward, a weakling, and have only gotten were I am today because of luck. Do you know who that man is? The crowd begins booing loudly as Matsumoto moves erratically around the ring, he stops in the middle of the ring and puts the mic close to his mouth, pausing between each syllable SPIDER: MAAAAAAAA! SPIDER: TSUUUUUUU! SPIDER: DAAAAAAAA! SPIDER: I know we have a match this month, and I know we had a "draw" at the I3 so lets not leave it to chance this time. Let's go to hell! The crowd goes silent as they seem to realize implications of what Matsumoto is saying SPIDER: We should have ourselves a DEATH MATCH, no chance for a fluke, no chance for a DQ, no chance for questions TWO men walk in, ONE walks out. Matsuda would accept the challenge, and in the weeks leading up to the match the tension between the two would escalate quickly. Then it came, one of the most brutal matches in Osaka Pro history. The scene cuts to the two men exchanging kendo stick shots to the skull, it fades to Matsuda throwing Matsumoto into the barbed wire ropes, pyrotechnics going off when he made contact, it then fades to Matsumoto dropping Matsuda onto a pile of tacks with a Tiger Bomb, the final scene fades in of the two men brawling at the top of a ladder, a burning table just below them, the two fall off the ladder and through the burning table, the referee begins to count the knockout on both men. The match ends in a double knockout as neither man could answer the ten count. For a second time the two men would fight each other to a draw. A match that was meant to answer the question of who was the best in Osaka Pro Wrestling would raise a new question that would be fought over in the months that followed, "Who was willing to go further?" 5 http://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/234976199816773632/299960579206938624/image.png http://ocwfed.tv/recapppv/Award2k16/cyberbully2099.png
