TBH..I think my match with KaanG James was a bit of a cluster fuck,nearly all the weapon shots missed..lol...on another note, in a hardcore match,are you allowed to hit a chair finisher at anypoint during the match? or just as a double red to finish the match?

 

 

The ME is the only match that works on my work comp for sum reason,so i'll watch the others later, but what a ME! I bet it was closer than AA thought it would be,the flappy headed canadian mother canucker kept himself in it with a lot of strong grapple reversals,that was a great way to end the show.

 

I'll comment on more matches later.

Good show here are some of my Sexcellent observations.

 

Leonheart Vs Justin Time.

 

Started out as a bit of a squash match. Leon dominated the several opening minutes. Time managed to find his feet a little and pull it back. Leon goes to hit his ground finisher but Time reverses, a little later on Leon is unsucessfull with a possum pin attempt. Time starts to dominate Leon late in the match. With both Leon and Time now DR Time goes for a finisher but Leon reverses. Leon goes for another ground finisher but Time is able to reverse AGAIN! Leonheart finally hits the finisher and the match is over.

 

Parker Stevens Vs KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG James

 

Parker Stevens started off very strong, James just could not seem to get any momentum going. Whenever James tried to start something Stevens would abruptly stop him. James managed to do abit of damage to Stevens but in the end he could not make over for Pee Stee's early dominance. Pee Stee hits the finisher and a new Hardcore Champion is crowned. *I think Parker Stevens needs to be careful about how many moves he chains together at one point I think he does 5 or 6 moves (strikes also) in a row. This could be seen as flatlining a little.* Good match regardless.

 

Main Event - Smythe DaWonder Vs Double A

 

The man with the worst name in OCW going head to head with the man with the worst genital hygiene. The match starts of very. First Smythe takes control with a couple of big moves and then Double A takes over. Plenty of big moves, lots of submission holds and plenty of chauvinism. Smythie shows that he is no push over in this match. The match is unbelievably close right untill the end. It is Double A, however, that manages to hit his finishing move and get the 1, 2, 3.

 

I thought this was a great show. I am yet to watch some matches yet but I will be sure to watch them this evening.

 

My MOTN goes to Justin Time Vs Leonheart. A very exciting match, a little defensive but good none the less.

 

Edit I have now watched the Kael Vs Syndrome match.

 

Was a good match Syndrome had control all through the coontest and he was able to pick up the win. I must say I wanted Kael to win but wadda ya gonna do. Syndrome needs to be careful about striking out of grapple attempts especially when you hit a finisher afterwards.

I will continue to work on my strike habits, I know they must be bad as everyone always comments... I do try to back off if I make the mistake but I guess not enough. I thoroughly enjoyed my match with Kael at any rate and I believe he like it too.

 

Rest of the show was win I'll keep watching and hone my FPR skills accordingly. At least I managed to pull out the w/ in this debut match as opposed to my other debuts which fortunately never aired.

Triple threat ladder match was very good, spot of the night goes to Air for his sick spear to Cj,that was awesome.

 

Gregory vs Dan Syndrome-good match,nice win for the rookie over a returning icon,although it looked tho he hit his finish off a tyler/MMM to me.

 

Deano vs Poison-I marked for Deano's entrance attire,together with Smythe they have 2 sweet entrances,Smythe for the music,Deano has the whole package..good solid match,still not sure what to make of Poison,cant figure out if he's some sort of Stevie Richards right to censor tribute,good win for Poison,I thought Deano had it won.

 

justin vs Leon-Leon is on a roll at the moment,if i had placed a bet,my money would have been on him,good job shoe stealer.

 

Kage/Versus vs AJ/Blood-Excellent tag match put on by 4 of the best,looked to me like kage could have saved Versus,did he let him tap out to AJ? Hmmm...

 

Already commented on the ME in an earlier post,personally for me,my MOTN goes to Deano and Poison.

Me and Kael did talk about redoing the match but both of us were a bit haphazard on the ol' FPR, tbh I didn't even notice about the end of the match until EVERYONE pointed it out.

That's all we ask. Just remember this if you see your opponent do a grapple while you do a strike. Back-off and wait till he is out of the animation then both re-engage the attack.
