Biography: Matt Mercer grew up like everyone else... Wanting to be a wrestler. His dream came true pretty early on, working around the indies as a clean cut kid at the ripe age of 18. He hopped from place to place, winning matches and more importantly going over with the fans. He was doing what he finally wanted and it showed by the smile on his face. With his look and athleticism for a big man, his future was brighter than the California sun he'd grown up seeing.

 

One night, working in a place he'd actually started to settle in at, his mind snapped. And so did his opponent's leg. Mercer continued on this mean streak for only a short period of time though, as a cult leader had been watching him. Just like the many opponents before him, Mercer was laid out and kept in the dark. Nobody knew where he was. Not friends, not family, and certainly not the enemies he had made along the way that were surely looking for him.

 

Weeks later, he showed back up in that same promotion under a different name. He was part of this cult-like group and though his anger was still there, it was more controlled. He was focused in the ring, thinking he had found his true purpose. Outside of it though, he was slowly being led astray by Jakub De'Relic.

 

The dark group had found themselves at the top of whatever world they thought they were in. And when the opportunity came along, Mercer tore them down from the inside. He left, joining the likes of De'Relic, Nate Dunn, and Jason Williams, hoping to find a new life in OCW.

Biography: Jason Williams didn't experience a "typical" start in his wrestling career. Son of professional boxer Mikey "Lionheart" Williams and professional footballer Emily Williams, it is fair to say that competition runs through Jason's blood. Despite the legacy of his family, Jason never showed much natural talent for either field, lacking the technical ability for football and the strategic awareness for boxing (though his father tried to encourage this through the most one-sided sparring sessions ever).

 

By 18 years old Jason's relationship with his parents was on thin ice, as he had become resentful of the success and expectations of his parents. He had quit sparring with his father, making it known that he had absolutely no interest in replicating his father's achievements. Moving from his native Manchester for London a few months after turning 18, he spent the next year doing nothing with his life, besides getting drunk and getting into fights that he couldn't win. It was a night like this in Westminster that created a chance-meeting that would change Jason's life. Upon deciding to trash talk the most built man in the pub, the fight was stopped by noted wrestling scout Thomas Jennings. Jennings had been a regular at the pub, and had been impressed by Jason's ability to "bullshit his way through any conversation", as he put it in a 2008 interview with the 'Wrestling Weekly' magazine.

 

Jennings convinced Jason to give professional wrestling a try, and offered him a place in the 1998 Recruit's Class of the 'Stone House' training camp. Williams proved to be something of a natural, his showmanship making him a stand-out member of the class. He graduated as part of the now-famous 'Class of 01', the graduates going on to become highly successful either at home or abroad. After 7 years of honing his craft in various promotions, Jason now finds himself in OCW, alongside colleagues Nate Dunn, Matt Mercer and Jakub De'Relic.

Biography: Unlike most, Nate Dunn didn't start out wanting to be a wrestler, born to an absent father and abusive mother, Kickboxing was always his passion. after leaving home at young age, Nate decided to pursue his love for Kickboxing. First going to a small-time gym in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. exchanging work for training. After making somewhat of a name for himself on the regional scene, he traveled to the Netherlands, to learn the Dutch-style of kickboxing, a style that still shows in his wrestling today.

 

After going 8-0 in professional kickboxing, in his 9th fight, a well-timed oblique kicked shattered his ACL, MCL, and meniscus, after starting to use drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism, Nate decided that a change of pace could be for the best. While loving pro wrestling as a child, Nate did not think he could make a career out of it, eventually he met Aiden Hughes, a journeyman professional wrestler, after several shots, Hughes eventually convinced Nate to give pro wrestling a try, and invited him to his wrestling school.

 

 

After wrestling for crowds of 50 people for months on end, Nate was eventually scouted by "Champions of the Ring " a prestigious pro wrestling company where he met friend/occasional enemy/Rogue Convoy Stablemate Jason Williams, it was there where Nate became their longest reigning and last "Breakout" Champion, after years of winning various championships across various promotions, Nate finds himself in OCW, alongside colleagues Jakub De'Relic, Matt Mercer and Jason Williams.

It's Italian . Short for Giacomo . But yeah , it's pronounced jack. you guys would always butcher it so I went with an easier spelling

Biography:

Bear grew up in ST. Louis, MO. He wrestled and played baseball in High School. He was all state in both, but his heart was never in school. He knew college would never be his calling, so during his Senior year he enlisted in the army. For the next 6 years he served his country as a Combat Medic, two of those years spent in Iraq. His time there was eventful and he still wears a scar under is right eye as a reminder of one fateful night. After his contact was up Bear returned home. He found most of his old friends had moved on. For all the training he had, bills started to come up short. Has a child, one escape for him was Professional Wrestling. He envied the men he watched on TV. Loved the blood and sweat they dedicated, respected it. For two years, he locked himself inside a local gym. He trained, he watched, he listened, and learned. He's been preparing to live his childhood fantasies. Is he too old for sport that isn't kind to the body? Is he ready?
