Dear Mr. Carter,

 

I, Drake Dauer, would like to offer my sincerest condolences for your loss to the Eternal Villain, Matsuda. The absolute spectacle of a match the two of you out on has inspired me, and as such, I am immediately dropping my name into the list of Ex Division Title contenders.

 

I have nothing but the utmost respect for the athletic capabailities both you and the Champion share, as well as many others in the division. However, I'm sure you'll all find soon enough that I am someone whom you will all come to respect just the same as I do you.

 

Admittedly, I am greener than the grass you walk in, and have no real hopes of immediate gratification during my stay here in OCW. I'm fully prepared to work my way up the ranks here in order to prove myself. However, waiting my turn doesn't necessarily have to mean standing still now does it? As such, I'm challenging you, Nathan Carter, to a match, anytime in the near future. Win or lose, I'm sure we'll have put on a fantastic match and I'll have proven myself to you, the Champion, the fans, and the boss.
