Illuminati Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 *clears throat* I have faced drago once already, was a good match and without a fifth reversal it could have gone a different way http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i108/TwistedKassidy/Skype%20gifs/Bane.gif~original http://i.imgur.com/Bd14oJd.png 2 http://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/234976199816773632/299960579206938624/image.png http://ocwfed.tv/recapppv/Award2k16/cyberbully2099.png
Dimsmore Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Dimsmore’s Wrestlution Page by Page Review Brought to you by Haus of Hoot BUY A SHIRT!!!!! Page 3 - I know some one else mentioned it. But I wish KD could have done a garden promo. I'm sure it would have been epic. - This is the strangest pairing. How many gimmick changes are we going to see with Sid Harrison?? The Austin Lee Hashtag this is gold though. The Influence? More like Influenza. - Versus vs.... wait can I put that?? How would you write that?? Versus taking on Boob. Versus showing us where he was at on vacation last summer. And now I'm trippin'. Reminds me of Waylon Mercy. Most of you kids won't remember him from the WWF days http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2f/Waylon_Mercy_at_RAH.jpg/220px-Waylon_Mercy_at_RAH.jpg Moths must have got to Boob's shirt before he did. Versus ready to pull out the dime bag already. Interesting dynamic for this match. Two of OCW's better writers going toe to toe. Boob's dropkick accuracy stat must be low. Very much a 50/50 fight so far. Boob feeling froggy, but only a 1.5 count. Yes Versus, I would stand there and make Boob connect with the springboard dropkick. So me that you can connect son. (singing) EVERYBODY DROPKICKS....... Sometimes (end singing) I'm getting the feeling that Boob had a chance to put this match away and he delayed for some reason. For the life of me I don't know what Boob calls his cutter. But Versus kicks out. Stunner!!! it's over. Nice hard fought match. - At first I thought this Dennis thing was going to change the rating of this PPV. But It didn't. Looks like we are having a domestic right in front of our eyes. Madison wearing a Parker shirt. Park, she wants that Euro D!!!!!!!!! - Casey Paine makes her second appearance. She's got tats on tats on tats. I wonder how she would fare against Rags in a handicap match. Probably job them out too. Did she just name herself the OCW Women's champ?? Geez, Casey has mic skills too??? Majin's daughter debuting on Lution, nice. Oh no, not this bytch. Errie Damn Sunshine. This Dog the Bounty Hunter lookin chick. And here comes Anna. Fuckin Betty Ford at Lution. Not sure who Sara Sykes is. Maybe OCW's first Bombshell. Tag Team Bombshell action Playah. Don Imus would have called Betty Ford "Some nappy headed hoes". Anna wanted that ref to pull out the D. She must have just got out of the slammer. Twerking on him like that. There's kids in attendance. DAMN!!! Sykes looked dead after that piledriver. Back and forth match. These Betty Ford chicks don't play. Sykes gets the win off of that superkick. Good surprise match. Dinner Time. More to Come 6 "Nesquehoning penn, is the greatest hometown in the history of hometowns." - Mr.Sensation
Jimmy Henry Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Versus intro was cool. Do you need to be a massive stoner to be in the Inner Circle? Match was cool, ending was great. Saw some of Matsuda's entrances over the weekend, and was not disappointed. Match was 100mph & intense. FPR blurring aside it was a decent match. Will anyone be able to defeat Matsuda? Loved the fire compilation video for Dupree, would have preferred the usual THE FIIIYAAHH theme music. Not so sure about the attire. Liked Matsumoto's entrance. Match was decent. Matsumoto retirement RP was nice. Tobin Frost vs The Monster was a classic. One for the purists. So many good reversals. Just quality wrestling. Really enjoyed it. Cesar vs Crossbones was the opposite, an all out war. Crossbones is dead after that. Drago came out dressed like Raphael the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Some of the cage tosses were undersold, and the match was a bit on the long side, but enjoyable. Like with Matsuda, is anyone defeating Drago? Wait a minute. No Title Changes? Still got the 2 main events to watch - the amount of content is a bit overwhelming (in a good way). 4
Jimmy Henry Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 So I stayed up far too late to watch those last 2 matches. Sheesht. This Mugen's turf now? I enjoyed this match, especially the constant pin attempts. Jay was better than I though he would be. Good match, some nice natural spots, Jay probably dead as well. I'm sharing a ward with him, The Steve & Crossbones. Heavyweight title match was solid, Pugh looking to hold that belt for a while. Be interesting to see who he feuds with next. The nostalgia in the video entrance was a nice touch. All in, really enjoyed my first Lution, happy to have been a part of it. Never expected when I signed up in December, how involved (but also weirdly rewarding) this whole experience would be. To do it right, you gotta spend the time. Struggling to meet deadlines as it is and over the next few months, I ain't gonna have that time, so I'm a flake for a while. Hopefully I'll find the time to be able to come back as an active wrestler. Hide this in black text, because it's a bit preachy: To the rookies newer than me: myself, Dennis & Sophia have been active for about 3-4 months (B17, Jackson & Kass not much longer) and I don't think any of us looked out of place. It's not hard, it's achievable enough if you put the work in. Now is your chance to step up. 9
