The Heather H2O RPs were amazing. I had the chance to read them since last year and watching them now after everything that happened feels really epic in some ways, because there’s a lot of attention to details and realism. The fact that they went through everything but somehow they reunited themselves tonight was really intriguing and adds another layer on the complexity of both characters which is something you can do only when you are consistent with them regardless of wins and losses, because you can get a story out of every outcome if you are creative enough. Really, really good stuff here.

International

Nice and short match that told a good story and wasn’t excessively long. Weird to see Watts with the Mr Undefeated hoodie since he is not undefeated (he lost to Joopiter if I remember correctly). Either way I felt like it was entertaining and a nice way to showcase one of PS4 rookies who hopefully is going to stick around and being involved more in the future.

Caine Lee

Career defining win for Caine against a Turmoil legend in what was a very interesting storyline that went on a bit unnoticed. Not much else to say other than it’s nice to see more and more PS4 people stepping up their game. The promo package was very well done and so was the signature + finisher combo for the win

The Flojo x Cobra RP was nice and short but it doesn’t really add much to what we’ve seen already from the two. It still served its purpose of keeping both characters on the show though

TY Jehst

Honestly I thought Jehst was going to win this but he didn’t. Congrats to both as the match was overall entertaining and not too long. Ending was a bit meh but that’s not really their fault, I just felt like the final pick up bump after those high impact moves was a bit awkward. Either way good showing for both as TY proves himself as one of the most promising rookies on PS4

TLB vs Code

I was rooting for Code because of that underdog feel but I was expecting TLB to win and he did fairly easily too. The post match scene was too much in my opinion as Code not only lost the match but he had been on the receiving end of many segments throughout the feud. I understand you wanted to have an “Accendi” moment with the flaming table but it could have worked the same with Code putting TLB through it instead and have some sort of mini revenge. The Turmoil attire felt a bit generic to me, Code is an awesome roleplayer and can surely have a better identity overall. Either way I hope he sticks around for the rest of the season. GG to Matteo as well.

Jehst sorta snaps after the match, it was good to see even though I wished TY would have been there for a line or two. Regardless playing the “i went easy on you” was a nice way to write off the L and keeps the story open to new possibilities in the future.

Tag Match

Not much to say about the match itself, it was shorter than average but good overall. The finish was a bit awkward with Doc just standing there as Quartz ran in late (botchamania moment) but it’s a nitpick really. I wasn’t expecting the turn at all. If I had to bet my own money I would have bet on Antonio turning on Doc instead because he has always been kinda the Marty Jannetty of the duo if that makes any sense, obviously just in kayfabe and not ooc (he held the minor title and not the world one, for example and so on), then again he has more babyface feel to him since he can use their history as fuel to tell a redemption story. Obligatory injured knee like 99% of the roster as the knee braces industry thank OCW for the never ending demand. Just kidding. CQC on the other hand has now to find someone else to fight or retire the titles altogether, honestly there are a few people that I could see as a tag team but there’s not much interest apparently. I guess we will see

You can always tell when Spider wins a PPV match because he spams the ppv with RPs just like he did at Summercide and Savage Lands. Still entertaining though.

Moore Empress

I knew the outcome before the stream started so obviously I wasn’t that invested in it but it still managed to entertain me a lot and I feel like it was one of the better matches of the night. I really liked the attention to details with the mid match scene and the bladejob, it was a nice touch who inspired us to replicate it later on as some sort of revenge ( Empress to Ash and Ash to me). Two amazing players playing by kayfabe and not by thirst, both using the cage even at the cost of losing competitive advantage and that helps a lot in the overall quality. Top spot was the missed dive, I don’t know what happened there but it was cool. I admit the finish was a bit confusing live, but probably just to me. It was cleared up immediately after by Ashley and it now makes me want to see a rubber match between the two, possibly for the title

Don’t know what to say about P3 RPs anymore other than they are entertaining and that I only understand 10% because I am a retard who doesn’t read the literature

Wrex Parca

Unexpected match that stole the show. I thought Parca was going to lose fairly quick but he didn’t. This match shows how mastering the kickout minigame automatically makes you a top tier player pretty much as the learning curve is pretty much just that, if we can even call it a learning curve. Either way the match was great, it kept everyone guessing until the very end and proved that Parca can easily become a main eventer in the future since he has already proven he can be a consistent roleplayer. Quartz already talked about the pop up finisher so I don’t want that to become the focus of a match that was otherwise amazing, just don’t do it in the future as imho it is cheesy as fuck (it’s irreversible and looks retarded). Wrex kicking out of that was absolutely justified in my opinion. Go for a tapout or a roll up instead next time. Parca on Ps4 is now a breath of fresh air as Turmoil needed more mid to top tier players to step up and that’s good news. Really happy for the exposure he got this season and I’m looking forward to see more from him.

Cool RP by Dupree who mentioned past legends. Can't say much because I don't know them but still it was an interesting read and helped building the historic feeling of the show

Spider Bobby

This will go down in history as the match who killed OCW (momentarily). I wasn’t really rooting for someone in particular but I felt like unifying the titles, regardless of the winner, was the right thing to do as there were way too many midcard titles on Xbox. I hope Bobby sticks around.

Main Event

With all due respect to KD who is an OCW legend and probably started here when I was in primary school, the entrance was bad. Aside from the Balor face paint, watching the most imposing and fearsome OCW superstar crawling on the floor as if he was possessed was a bit ridiculous. With that out of the way, the match was solid and told a good story, with two players who clearly know each other well and it shows on the overall quality. Some awkward spots up until the 20 minutes mark as the ladder was more of an obstacle than an actual object and with H2O who probably forgot to put his ladder daredevil skill on and that’s why he couldn’t dive (guess). Action really picked up towards the end with the table spot, some cool finishing sequences and the final running finisher to a KD armed with a weapon. Solid match throughout, a bit long, but absolutely a good conclusion to the Inception arch.

I haven't fully digested the webshow or RP content yet, but Valk seems to hit the nail on the head for those. My off the cuff thoughts on what I watched for comms and on VP.

I wanted to do a full review but I realize these days I just don't have the time, so you'll get more off the cuff comments like these. Don't get pissy with me if I skip your content. Remember these are my thoughts and lots of people won't/don't agree with them all the time.

- I thoroughly enjoyed Austin Lee and Solo Caine. I didn't get any vibe that he "lost steam" as I saw several say in Discord. Salami lost a hard fought match in a fun program for the INT title and bounced back in about as big a way as you can. The visuals of the match were very funny but now Caine has another signature W

- Speaking of signature Ws... Sparks shocks the world and the ending popped me. I really dig the rebound off the ropes bingo punch, unique way to hit that move.

- Disappointed that Danny couldn't pull it off in that one, but hey what can you do. Danny did a good job pulling himself up the card and out of the doldrums of turmoil rookie irrelevancy. W or L this was good for him. Fuck Archer

- Blacksmith vs Code was whatever. Code seems like filler at this point, needs something big to bounce him back to the mainframe.

- Ashley and Empress had the one botch, but otherwise was fine. It was necessary for the story later on.

- Lost all interest in Wrex vs Parca after the FPR hulabaloo

- Valk vs Blaine was odd, idk what the deal was with Blaine allowing Valk to be counted out. Doesn't seem like Doom Machine behavior. That being said, I may be looking too far into it and not just enjoying it from a pure kayfizz standpoint, which because of what happened post-counout, was very fun. I popped like crazy on comms

- Spider vs Boob was fun, shocked that Spooder won tbh

- Never had any real doubt that H2O would win but because it ended an otherwise batshit crazy show, you just never really knew.

keep it coming you animals

Thank you for the Review Valk.

I started a review than deleted it Valk solely because after reading Valk's review it echoed a lot of my own views with a few minor differences. So I'm just gonna piggy back off her hardwork. Thank you again Valk for the Review.

I wasn't around for any of the previous interactions with Heather and H20. So, I don't have much of an opinion on this RP other than it was very good and I have very much enjoyed the RPs I have seen from these two so far. As Valk said really, really good stuff.

Mr. Undeated or whatever hoodie was funny the first time. Following the typo in the promo video. But, don't let that be your gimmick. Kinda difficult to push yourself as a serious competitor and walking around promoting Watt's like an idiot that doesn't know how to spell. The match was good but sorry to say I didn't see Watt's winning.

As a side to what jake said as well, I don't know anything about Caine losing steam. I don't see him as longing steam. Honestly, he put on a good show. It wasn't the greatest of matches but, it was a very damn good one. I'll admit this story did go a bit unnoticed to me as I felt it just came out of the blue. But I do love that fact he put in the effort and made a damn good promo package building this fight which helped me get more into the story. Very well done Caine and Lee.

I'm gonna mix the Coba and Flojo RP with the TY vs Jehst because it was very small. This RP served no purpose but, I'm still happy to see it. I rather see a small pointless Rp from Flojo than no RP at all especially after the Queen of OCW tournament match. I would have rathered she did an RP with say Blaine this was still good.

Jehst vs Sparks was a match I was on the fence to see. I figured Jehst would probably wipe the floor with Sparks. But, Sweet baby Jehstus Sparks pulled a win out of his ass. I thought for sure he was about to lose. This was a good match put on between these two. I expected B17 to get involved somehow with a leg pull or something but, for the most part, he stayed out of it. Like Valk said the ending was a bit awkward but, was still a good match.

Not to disrespect either of these two men. But, I honestly gave zero shits about this fight. I know Code doing some RL stuff and I'm really happy for him. I know he doesn't have time for much else but, honestly, this match could have been put onto Turmoil or Riot. TLB should really be putting his time into a more active feud. And once again like Valk stated and I'm sure many others probably stated The Flaming table spot was a bit overkill. TLB is becoming a one-note type of character.

Jehst RP was amazing since I been here this was my seeing this type of reaction from him even with all the Capo feud. I can't say I recall him having this type of response. I do wish Sparks or B17 was present for it to help build that level of heat. Even without still an amazing Rp. Great work.

This was a very good match and an amazing end to a highly intense feud between really the only two tag teams OCW has. Not to discredit B17 and Sparks. But, they have only had one tag match so far would consider them much of a team just yet. If things work out with Elliot and Sparks could make for a decent matchup against CQC not that they are the only tag team in the division. Speaking of OMG geez I expected one of them to turn on the other at some point but, geez I didn't see Doc beating the living hell out of Ant like that. That's Wrex vs Lee blood feud shit. I'm sure most people along with myself expected Ant to turn so Doc turning made for an even bigger surprise.

Now that Valk pointed this out about Spiders RPs I'll have to keep an eye out for this. Other, That I found this enjoyable Spider is a character that even when you should probably take him serious you can't.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the match Between Ashley and I. Honestly we were both just having fun with the match. The missed dive was me not knowing what could and couldn't be done on the cage. I was trying to kick Ashley as she was climbing up but it just ended up making me jump off the cage. In hindsight, I would have done better just letting her pull me off the cage. But, Like I said I haven't done many cage matches so I wasn't sure what could and couldn't be done. So a lot of the match was me just trying shit out. I was surprised by the ending as well when it happened because I kicked out the meter when green and everything but, the game still gave Ashley the Win which I just fucking loved. It was a fun match. We were trying our best to keep it from going over 15 mins so I'm happy it ended with that glitch.

P3 is gonna be P3. Refer to all other P3 reviews either you love it or you hate it.

I have nothing to say about this that Valk hasn't said. It was a damn amazing match and I agree it stole the show. But, honestly, it stole the show for me in a way of performance rather than entertainment. It's the difference between watching two people fight and watching two people tell a story. This wasn't a storytelling fight it was just a fight. You can see moments where Wrex was trying to tell a story with getting a weapon and just leaving the ring to clear his head but eventually just went into Fight mode as for Parca, it was all just fight. The suspense of who would stay down was the only thing that kept me invested.
