As for my running, I WILL SAY IT AGAIN BECAUSE I'M GETTING PISSED AT THIS POINT. I am hitting minimal running moves in a match. IF I CHOOSE TO HIT THOSE MOVES AT THE END OF THE MATCH, THAT IS MY FUCKING PEROGATIVE.

 

I don't think the issue is that you use too much running, its just when you decide to use it.

 

Its not like you have a budget of how many running moves you do in a match, you kind of do it as and when it suits the flow. The issue is the fact that you are using a fair few running attacks to gain an 'easy' finisher or an 'easy' set up into a finisher.

 

This week you used 2 running moves to set up a finisher, same as last week. Your not breaking FPR but ethically its abit 'meh'.

 

And as far as the run stop tactic goes yes alot of people use it. Smythe uses it too, but he uses it as one of a couple of tactics he personally had. In your match it seemed as if everytime you went on the attack it always began with a run and stop. I know that you have more than that in your Arsenal but it did seem in this match that you used it alot... certainly more than usual.

Fair statement, but NOBODY is questioning Majin, or Fausto for his match tactics...

 

And as far as Ethics go...does every match need to be 50 minutes? Because if I didn't use my run strikes/grapples at the end, I'd never be able to get a finisher off.

 

No offense toward Majin as I've taken his style and implemented it into my own, but it seems like everybody is ignoring the fact that it is his style, yet a microscope is being put onto me for using it. I like the action close, when I get distance, I close the gap.

But seriously I can't honestly say why Majin or Guy's tactics have been put up for question. You deserved to beat Amart no doubt about it you reversed really well but you just took a little bit away from yourself for over using the run stop. I'll check the Ma'jin match and see how the two compare.

first of all, the run-stop is used as a technique to counter the people who play backup all match. if you're gonna call out someone for run-stopping you need to also call out people for backing up all match.

One technique feeds the other. Also brad is right, you call out brad you have to mention guy and majin as well because they do it at times.

 

second neither of these techniques are againts fpr, ethically you should watch how you use them but if someone is playing back up all match againts me... well i'll tell you what i will close the gap on him again one technique feeds the other.

 

as far as Aj goes, i agree the boot does not fit you it is a power move and your entire moveset if more tech/agility sure you can od a few strong moves but a one footed boot that just knocks the crap out of someone who is bigger then you does not fit. edge would not be able to big boot undertaker or batista. so i cant see aj big booting kage or cross. edit brad pointed out edge did the big boot to taker at WM so cant really argue this point anymore.!

 

and bold it think nate hit it on the head, if you bold have an option to pick a move that looks correct or a move that will offer you an advantage you will choose the advantage move instead of what looks right. sure one or 2 moves for "games sake" are ok but you should really re-think why your choosing the moves you pick.

actually guy has been questioned as of late, which is why he's tried to switch it up a bit.

 

I personally have no complaints of your style, but i can see where people may have problems with your timing (not saying i do, because this game sucks anyways and sometimes it seems necessary so the match doesnt drag out)

The running is used to counter the backing up agreed and that makes sense. But I see it being used now in matches where people are not backing off and trying to initiate an attack. It looks slopy and it's cheap. No one is going to go for a big grapple when youve got someone running at you it just doesnt happen. The person running therefore most of the time gets in an easy quick grapple or slap. It just needs to be toned down a bit in my opinion. We got to many people in OCW looking like theyve got ADD.

Not that i agree with brad, because hes my boy. But he is right. I like majin and guy, but if you question his tactics, you better get on those two. I dont see whats wrong with the style, as long as your not running, and clothelining me each time. If you run, stop, then strike or grapple, i can reverse it.

 

But its funny when strikes were going around, Guy Fausto, didnt get shit. When Cross faced Majin, Cross was crucified, and i think like 1 or 2 people mentioned Guys name, and he did the same shit. Even the ME match, he got in the ring, in the tag match, before the pin was made. Like 1 or 2 people mentioned it. But hey, just a friendly observation, by myself.

 

I think the days, of the protecting peopel just because their ME, is over. You best believe, from here on out, ill be calling your ass out, if no one else does.
