  1. Unfortunately I seem to have missed out on the sale on bottled fountain of youth water. All these other old bastards from the golden era seem to have taken the whole stock :p
  2. Haven't finished the show yet (seen most of the matches except a few I'm having trouble loading and some written content besides the last few pages), will post a full review later but so far have already marked the fuck out a few times... Brief thoughts (minor spoilers in black, highlight if OK with them): -I personally love the idea of Dia de los Muertos (their look, gimmick, execution of said gimmick, entrance, everything, love it.) and look forward to what they have planned for the future. -That 3 way with Baker, Flynn and Sheldon was hard to watch honestly (I personally can't stand the sped up, benny hill looking type matches. I understand the necessity for time constraints but eh). **Congrats to baker on the big win though** and am liking that an old familiar face (Chuuuuurch!) may be making a showing as an indirect result of this match and subsequent alliance. -Ok, so kudos to Carter for throwing me the fuck off guard with the **teabag from heaven** (Screw you at the same time, I was eating). Seeing the Steve and hearing Miseria Cantare again was a huge markout moment for me. Same with V's epic entrance. **You came so close, V, put up a great showing despite the odds being against him from the beginning.** -Loved the mystery opponent for Nate (being extremely dissapointed to see a certain DDT'ing tatted freak couldn't fight due to sickness). Won't spoil it but another markout moment for me. Great match and ending as well. -Valentine vs. Tobin was another good back and forth match, specifically liked the very back and forth ending. The Spinebuster where Tobin's head slams onto the steel steps looked sick. As I said will come back with more full review later, but good job, OCW. Amazing show so far -Really enjoyed women's title 3 way. **Loved the ending as well, made too much sense not to happen. C'mon, would how could Sophia REALLY trust the seed of Majin?** -Holy fuck, that's how you end a PPV. Honestly did NOT see that coming (Although i've only caught up on like the last few weeks and this PPV, still holy SHIT!)
  3. Page 9=Instant markout moment LeTuce vs Amart was badass, as well as Trance/Aries, glad to see the mid tier/ex titles having some good competition going.
  4. BTW Ryder don't take my last post as me shitting on your title win at all, congrats dude, was just pointing out what I thought was an error (the way you worded it was just a bit confusing).
  5. Contrary to Ryder's words, he is NOT, I repeat, NOT the first former EX champ to hold a world title... that is all BTW good to at least see some familiar faces like Chris, Smythe, Cruz and Leon still relevant
  6. Congrats RD, Steve, Majin, and Casey, you guys deserve it. Good to see the HOF expanding and building up well, 5 years running.
  7. Actually you are mistaken as OCW Champ was yours truly at CF07. You stole it on the first riot of 08 when I was screwed then fired . But I see what you're getting at lol
  8. Happy holidays OCW, hope you all have a good one!
  9. I guarantee you if Nate was put in 10 straight 3 ways vs two jobbers/rooks, he would win them all, why? Skill. Believe it or not skill does have some place in 3ways. Last time i checked it taks skill to reverse consistently (like you can in 3ways) and keep yourself from going DR (which is possible in a 3way). It also takes skill oftentimes to set yourself up for a shot to win (not always a random crapshoot). Plus tags can easily be just as luck based as you say three ways are.
  10. Thats kind of a stupid mentality. Hell, if its that way then why even have 3 ways then. Of course its not as big as winning it one on one because there are no questions asked then who was better, but 3ways still hold weight in that the loser got caught with a finisher at the right time from the winner. The winner isn't a fluke if they were actively working the entire match and strategized to pin their opponent at the best time. Plus, the loser didnt reverse the finisher, thus their fault they lost. It would be different if the winner just sat by and waited for the opponents to make each other DR, but if they were in the match being constantly active, and they happen to win, they earned the win. I'm just saying, no need to devalue a guy's title win just because it wasn't one on one.
  11. lol still does. Although 3 ways dont carry as much weight as 1v1's, they shouldn't just be trivialized and seen as insignificant. You still have to work for a win in 3 ways even if targeting sucks. If the win is done in an ethical manner it should still be a plus for the winner instead of an asterisk in their record just because its a 3way. BTW I'll get to the show when I finish
  12. hahahahaha, thats what you get nate. you suck. fucking gold.
  13. lol you have no idea. I'll come back when I'm ready to come back. moving out of home going to a new colege will make things different believe it or not. Why would I stick around if I know I couldn't contribute much anyways? Makes no sense.
  14. One thing i think is that GM's should probably give some input at times to those who are lost or not having any concrete plans. Case in point my last feud w/ Kage, when I had the title, I honestly was more or less lost for who to feud with after beating Malu at S2R 07, and I think it was Vimes who actually got us to start the feud. Me and Kage really didnt have much in terms of history, but it ended up being one of the best feuds of the year. So, in a nutshell, GM's if you see potential in a feud, speak up! It would help those who are at a block for what to do, instead of making them subject to the cliched "Open Challenge" idea since they have nothing else
  15. ah well, at least my future "Class of 08 HOF" plaque isn't on display yet :p
  16. Badass man, congratulations. Ill definitely be getting the album.
  17. Bold wins the thread just for his sig.
  18. if he doesn't want his spot hell i'll take it!
  19. As the greatest submissionist in OCW history I just have to say...... http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk188/Dreamcastor/Funny%20Stuff/Funny_Pictures_593.jpg
  20. So kage is really gone Damn I'm not gonna lie, OCW wont be the same without you man. I gotta thank you for giving me pretty much my best feud while in OCW in late 07, and for what you did for OCW in general. Congratulations for a great run in OCW man, and take it easy.
  21. No, but I do consider my few televised one on one victories over him (asylum and riot ironman match), and if I'm not mistaken I remember RD money beating him, there are some others but I cant remember atm. Trust me, he's had his share of losses like everyone else, just nowhere near quite as many
  22. Um, really? BTW good show overall, curious to see how this OCW title thing works out, the ending left me in WTF. Also, I enjoyed the ME, although I liked their encounter at lution a little more overall (just my opinion), but nice ending and good editing. Congrats Kage for a great OCW career, hopefully you're still around the boards here and there. 7 deadly sins, sweet.
  23. Actually I definitely recall parker being good in 07, he nearly beat Kage once on RIOT in 07.
  24. Trips, as a champion you're supposed to want to make the title mean something (help its legacy), not prove that "no one's worthy". Oh, and by the way, that "gold" you're holding is just a few pixels on a videogame, quit acting like you have to be some kind of god to be a champ.
