Jacob Trance Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Match Reviews folks, including STARS! Iceberg Le'Tuce versus Hazard Le'Tuce's crotch close up entrance has to be the most disgustingly vile thing I have seen, but it fits his gimmick to the tee, as does his music, bravo purple dildo man. Hazard comes out to the ring to somesort of techno indie song. Couple of tyler's early on which were not on purpose and some moonwalking, then later on Le'tuce hits a strike, to which Hazard replies with a quick grapple? Come on. Le'Tuce is forced to tyler as a result and the flow is gone. I quite like some of moves both people have, but Hazard doing that backsuplex neckbreaker toss thing and a hoss scoop slam to Iceberg made me QQ. Oh hai, I'm online. I'm getting a giggle out of Le'Tuce's Koslov stuff as he used to be russian. Iceberg is certainly winning the reversal factor at the moment. Accidental hover chop, leads to Hazard assaulting immediately. OK, NO. NO STALLING NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB on Hoss' please, you're small compared to even me. I really like the Hardy legdrop on Hazard for the record. Flurry of comebacks by the EX guy and both wind up red around the same time, quite interesting that. Nice discuss lariat on Iceberg and Karim is online. Hazard gets a sig and moonwalking and windmill grappling begins. Three punches to the face and then a running elbow to the skull to Hazard, quite a nice little setup. Iceberg strikes with punches, knees and running neckbreakers to fully take control of the match. Iceberg loses his sig in the corner, but loses it, resulting in a punch in the corner and then the corner sig. A tad gay. Finisher time, Hazard evasive rolls and immediately goes for a strike to try and keep Iceberg at bay, however Haz falls flat on his face, then charges with a running move and much moonwalking and random strike attempts. Finisher lost. A few more moves gets us a sig again, punch quick grapple, then a really quick sig ontop of it, followed by a punch to the head and a dirty pin. 2 1/2 out of 5 - The match flowed quite well, but it stuttered whenever someone looked like they might win, the moonwalking and tylering MIGHT be lag, but that's not up to me to decide. Enjoyable match, just some silly moves seen that would only work on EX's. I'm not reviewing my own match, but I will say my german on KD was silly, maybe I could argue that I was that low on his centre of gravity I JUST pulled it off and he had to flip to avoid dying? Nah, silly move. Anyway, the two ref double teams close to the start kind of ruin it for me, and I'm moonwalking away whilst the ref's down. New music for both myself and KD, I like KD with rap, I hate him with Godsmack. I'm not commenting on my own music or attire. :) Parker Stevens versus Carlos Cruz Poor Carlos doesn't even make it to the ring before Parker begins beating him up all the while the Mexican's music plays alas New Jack. ECW REFERENCE. Carlos is showing that this year could be his year with his great timing and reversal skills, he's also still got some of his old spots to boot, but Parker's no slouch himself. Slow start for the face painted felon though with Carlos storming all over the place until a discuss elbow, and what MIGHT have been a dragging grapple from Parker, but it's into a nice slam neckwhip spot. Tyler, back up on cue, return tyler, back up, fiar play from both men. Carlos is getting back in control with a Mexican legsweep, and yet more and more counters. Carlos Cruz is a reversal machine in this match and is absolutely destroying the hardcore legend in the making. Parker fires back with a RUNNING CLOTHESLINE #1#1#1#1!!1'11shift1111. Carlos answers with yet more reversals, even busting out a jawbreaker. Big t-bone suplex from parker to try and get back into it, a running monkey flip? Saying that, Parker's not hossariffic, nice backbraker aswell as parker is definetly focusing on Carlos' back, possibly for an elbow to the spine? Michinoku DRIVIAAAROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Roaring elbow gets reversed though :( Parker's reversing now, and another dragging grapple from Parker, tyler, back up from both men, fair play. Parker again with a dragging grapple? Macho man taunt, didn't see that one coming ;) MEXICAN SURFBOARD! From an actual Mexican! And out comes the hardware!!!!!! Weapons time. Uh oh, chair neck tie stomp and Carlos is in a world of hurt, a tyler is performed with a chair and followed up on. 3 3/4 stars out of 5 - Very dramatic match with Parker getting his ass absolutely handed to him earlier on only for the hardcore man to pull it together later on and make a good comeback and pick up the victory. Match wise this was great, there was a few stutters through the match, but it happens. As for the dragging grapples it most likely was lag, in the event it wasn't it's easily sorted by the perpetrator. Few tylers near the end but overall very enjoyable. :) Poe versus Chris Ryder Chris Ryder back to his old music and with a rather trendy look, I approve, can Chris Ryder as a face work? Only time will tell. Poe's kept the same music for as long as I can remember, his attires far better than it was the last time I saw him to be fair, but I absolutely hate that god damned mask, facepaint or whatever it is. It's vaguely similar to Parker's, I like the tights, just not the face paint to be perfectly honest. I wasn't expecting much from this match due to observations earlier on it, but both men impressed me, and that's all I'm going to say as it's all that's needed. Also: Hearing people talking about the match = Win Ryder dropkicking to get into the ring = win 4 stars out of 5 - Very good job from Poe and Ryder here, perhaps these two working some sort of programme could be beneficial for both of their careers. With the EX division title being on hiatus this could perhaps see more and more Lightweight's versus Heavyweight's, and for the record the score is EX 2 Heavy's 1 at this point of the show. :D Smythe Da Wonder versus Seth Irving I didn't think much of Smythe's attire, but it's similar to what he previously had and I'm sure Da Wonder will use his Epic creative juices (innuendo) on us all. Out comes Seth Irving looking like the lead singer of Metallica, to Metallica. Fucking awesome looking attire from quite possibly the biggest threat to the world champion at this time(non-spoiler). I love his tattoo's, they look very realistic. Here we go with what could very well be an indicator of who is going to be the number one contendor. It's peanut butter reversal time as Seth begins to go to work, and Smythe fires back, back and forth action so far with Seth just getting the edge. Seth with the EAT DA FEET, looks strange, but it can work. So far everyone seems to be reversing well, but I'm noticing a pattern, someone kicks ass but the other person hangs on and claws back tooth and nail. It's quite realistic. Seth looks like a superstar (shameless marking), he really does and the way his entrance is packaged is very well done, Smythe making a comeback though with ye olde Rocky Maiva combo, until Seth dumps him on his head with a german and clicking his heels together in joy. A few dragging grapples in this one too and a couple of tyler's in a row, but so far it's been fun. Franz Ferdinand always makes me smile. I SAY DON'T YOU KNOW, I SAY, NECKBREAKER.(veiled insult towards humour) Smythe Da Wonder looks out at the crowd who look back as he begins to get into control of the match with the snake eyes and a running knee facebuster. The end exchange between these two was fast and furious with a bit of stuttering but it picked up again quickly with a nice capture suplex from Seth, resulting in heel clicking with much joy. Smythe though is managing to hold on, nope, all she wrote. Seth takes it in both a close and entertaining encounter. 4 stars out of 5 - I pretty much said everything about both men. Smythe's attire, not fan of, but bears similarities to last years. Seth's entire package looks great at the moment (no homo). This could be a good year for him, very good job guys. MAIN EVENT Leonheart versus Mr. "Not RD Money" Bentley 4 out of 5 - This match was really only going to go one way, but I really liked the way both men came up with to go for for the ending, and of course the finalé set us up very well. Congrats to both men for an admirable contest and for coming up with something I havn't seen lately in OCW, a DIFFERENT match ending. Show rating overall: 3.75 out of 5 (calculate via average +10 for beefing up to fair level) Trips match omitted due to the drama that ensued.
Iceberg LeTuce Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Match Reviews folks, including STARS! Iceberg Le'Tuce versus Hazard Le'Tuce's crotch close up entrance has to be the most disgustingly vile thing I have seen, but it fits his gimmick to the tee, as does his music. I told all you fuckers that it would work!!!!!! I wont go lying so i will come clean. Some of the tylering i done was not down to lag but down to my horrible timing and moonwalking is just a habbit. I agree with the fact hazmat has some awfull moves and im go glad i hit the fukker with my headbutt at the start(Ill soon be known for it!;)) I'm getting a giggle out of Le'Tuce's Koslov stuff as he used to be russian. Iceberg is certainly winning the reversal factor at the moment. Accidental hover chop, leads to Hazard assaulting immediately. OK, NO. NO STALLING NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB on Hoss' please, you're small compared to even me. I am the fucking reversal mastah!:p I might tone down my character a bit as i dont like the "hoss" look. A tad gay. Yeah i didnt know it was gay to do that so thats why i walked away to let the finisher go away. But i was surprised haz didnt know i was doing this and surprise surprise went for a running grapple(Which im not moaning at btw) Finisher time, Hazard evasive rolls and immediately goes for a strike to try and keep Iceberg at bay, however Haz falls flat on his face, then charges with a running move and much moonwalking and random strike attempts. Haha to Haz for falling on his face :D To be fair i think my fin looked shit online with the bitch at ringside screwing the camera angles :p
Vincent Valmont Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 First thing I'm going to say is that I'm pushing for a 'whole video' OCW show. It can be done, and should atleast be given a fair try. I know it'll limit some things, but I want to see creativity be put to the limits, but onto the PPV. Commentary was at it's best tonight, which is even more of a reason to get a show done completly video. So it's our first anything since our last Riot show back on October 2nd, and like I've said it did it's job for kicking off the 2010 season in the right direction. So I only have one question... when's our next show? Chapter 1: Starting off "Certified Greatness" is none other than the man whos hosting this event, Mr. Bentley. It was nothing too long, and made it's point. Can't kick off the ppv without Mr. Bently getting the first words in. Iceberg Le'Tuce vs The Miz... err I mean Hazard - 2/5 First thing I must say... smackdown arena? I like the look for Le'Tuce, although he sorta reminds me of myself when I used to rock the suspenders. Music fits, the entrance, and the attire fits as well. As for Hazard I would like to suggest changing the music. It just doesn't feel right. Onto the match, and the show opener for a ppv is a manager view? If you want to keep that hoss moveset then go to the gym, Le'Tuce. Moonwalking... tyler... moonwalking... tyler... tyler... moonwalking... well you get the picture by now. Also if you get hit with a strike first, don't try to grapple, and cause another tyler. We're at the 10:00 minute mark where the match so far is even. Both going back, and forth. I agree the Matt Hardy legdrop fits, Hazard. I didn't like how that sig was executed. Does anyone know that you can still toe kick to setup sigs, and fins? Instead of the constant quick grapple setups. Also I don't know about that punch as a finisher for Le'Tuce. Simple because he doesn't look like a hoss, but has a hoss moveset, and I can't see him knocking someone out bigger than him with a punch. 2 stars out of 5 due to the tylers, moonwalking, and those movesets. Chapter 2: Next up we have Chris Ryder coming to the ring. Wasn't you retired? However, I applaud you for going back to your theme from the CCW days. That reason along kept me interested enough to sit through Ryder's face change. Let's see how this plays out as he faces Chris Baxter later tonight. K.D vs Jacob Trance - 2.5/5 Before I get started, K.D has Kang's old theme. It doesn't really bother me, but the theme is still fresh in my head from when Kang used it, but gotta admit that K.D looks better this year. I know someone mentioned that Trance should have attire of the night, and I agree, but this ppv is far from over. Onto the match, and it's another manager view? I agree that german suplex by Trance on K.D was a bit too much. As I watch this match I will admit that atleast these two picked their movesets to fit their characters. For the most part, Trance controlled this entire match. I marked for that flying moonsault. After watching these first two matches, it looks like I'll be taking out my running STO. I'm assuming that neither of you was red in body limb dmg as I didn't see any limping, but I don't know the ruling on that this year as I assume it doesn't matter, but I'm still not going to end my matches unless I see my opponent limping first. 3 stars out of 5. Nothing specatcular, but props for the movesets not sucking, and limiting the tylers. Chapter 3: As much as it pains me to say this, but our OCW Champ is here... Leonheart is seen arriving in a rent-a-limo. I see why that 'bitch' is mean all the time. She looks like Kip Conrads twin brother. I liked the video. I liked it so much that I think only champions, staff, and maybe main event can use certain story designs. Next we cut backstage to the Bloodline lockeroom. Dorien decides to insult K.D after his loss. Baxter doesn't take it too kind to heart, but K.D plays it off calm, and tells Baxter to await for the arrival of their leader, Lil' Wonder. Soon after we see the frustration build from K.D as he begins attacking Dorien. It looks like Bloodline won't be needing the services of Dorien Arnaud anymore. Parker vs Carlos Cruz - 3/5 Just the other day when I was browsing through story designer I said to myself that coming from underneath the ring would fit Parker, and I guess I was right. Personally I think Parker should've played his theme during that brief promo after the attack, but no big deal. It seems that sneak attack fired up the mexican as he started off the match in control, which is hard to do against Parker. This was a hardcore match, but I didn't see any blood. Not too many tylers, and not much moonwalking so props to both men. It didn't take too long before Parker got some type of offensive onslaught, and he does. I also saw, and mark for that Macho Man taunt by Parker. Cruz tries to fight back, and is even the first one to grab a weapon, but that eventually would spell disaster for OCW's mexican as it's never a smart thing to have weapons inside a ring with Parker Stevens... trust me. IOverall the match is the best so far, and deserves to get 3 stars out of 5. Would be 3.5, but not much weapon usage as I would've expected a murdering inside the ring with the return of Parker Stevens. Chapter 4: We have the first altercation backstage of the night between two wrestlers. Very well-written RP. It seems Chris Baxter doesn't believe Ryder, and in which Ryder flips the table, and makes Baxter admit that after all this time he wasn't never a real pirate. Match should be interesting to see with the little buildup it has. Hands down the RP of the night so far goes to Bloom, and Bently. We've learned news that Mr. Bently has a special announcement to make. Is he going to retire again? Is it good news, bad news... who knows? Just gotta keep watching. It's nice to see The Air making an appearence, but it looks like he's not alone. Chapter 5: It looks like OCW's Thrill Seeker makes his return in an unhappy mood. Believing he should've been booked for the show opener of 2010, and even further goes onto telling the fans that he doesn't need them anymore. Does this mean we'll be seeing a new, and improved Judas Hallows? Only time will tell. Another backstage promo video from Leonheart. This time Leon, and Alex are getting interviewed briefly by Stacey Clark. Stacey tried to get a reasoning behind the two pairing up, but Stacy doesn't get the answer she was hoping for. Next we learn that someone attacked Sean Strider in the parking lot before he could even get inside. A piece of paper? Who's going to make 2, and who's behind this? Continue watching, and maybe you'll know. Here comes Ryder again, and this time it seems that he will be needing a new opponent for tonight. Who better to accept than the unpredictable, Wesley Adams Poe. I like the new look for Poe for 2010. Only thing that bugged me about this was it should've ended with Poe's music, not Ryders. Chapter 6: We learn that "The Monster" Mayhem is at ringside for the ppv event. Will he jump over that barricade, and unleash hell? Who is his next target? Why is he sitting at ringside? I assume these questions will be answered sooner or later. Feel sorry for the poor bastard that has to find out. More buildup comes from Trevor McManus for the no holds barred match tonight against me. Right back at ya, Trevor, all I gotta say. Chris Ryder vs Poe - 3/5By this time I'm already tired of hearing Saliva. It's nice to see Poe keep 'Hole in the earth' as his theme. Very nice attire. Definitely up there with Trance for attire of the night. I hear voices in my head... they come to me, they understand, and they're in the match. Was actually enjoyable to hear the reaction from the two. It seems Ryder brings back his old attire to go with the old theme, not too bad of an idea. Another match with a manager view. Poe starts limpin with head damage only after 9 minutes into the match. It's only a matter of time before Ryder finishes him, right? Wrong! Aside from the length being way too long for a singles match, the match itself was good. Both movesets also fit each wrestlers. Poe remained calm, and didn't panic. He kept himself in this by fighting back. The close pinfalls were nice, but this match should've never reached 25 plus minutes. 3 stars for the great match, movesets, Ryder going back to his CCW days, Poe with the interesting attire, and the limit of tylers, but I deducted a whole point just due to the fact that match went on for as long as it did. Chapter 7: It appears that after 25 plus minutes of Ryder vs Poe we're still be treated to more from the two, but this time things get interesting as Poe just snaps after losing, and unleashes a hard hitting arsenal of moves. We'll see how things play themselves out between these two because I think these two will be interesting. My only negative thing about this was the fact that once again Ryder's theme plays for how many times now? Poe's theme should've atleast ended the video since he was the one doing the attacking. More carnage erupts as we cut backstage. It appears whoever took out Strider also took out Chris Baxter, but why? It got me interested so far. Smythe D. Wonder vs Seth Irving - 3.5/5I'm glad Smythe kept the "epic" theme, in which same thing could be said for Irving's theme too. I didn't like the hud names above their heads. Kinda distracting, but nothing to complain about. Match was pretty much as close as you can get in a match. I also applaud as both movesets fit. Irving begins limpin first after that deadly ddt off on the ropes from off the apron, but shortly after the momentum changes a bit, and Irving gets the upperhand which eventually leads to a hard hitting signature move from Irving, and the finish. 3.5 stars out of 5 for the close match, movesets, themes, and for having probably the best fpr match of the night so far. Chapter 8: Just when I thought Bently sealed the deal for RP of the night, he goes and one ups his previous RP. The NA American title makes it's return, and I'm marking, but will the return be permanent? Trevor vs Valmont - No comment. Chapter 9: A strong RP delivered from Leonheart. He breaks down basically what has happened over the course of this year. Dating all the way back since End Games where I whooped that ass. Classic Leon RP. Better than his previous rps earlier in the night. Let's see if Leon can back up that mouth, and survive R.D Money, but I wouldn't be too happy even if you win because I want my title back! Leonheart vs R.D Money - I will not be spoiling this match. It's the main event, and it deserves to be watched. Not read. I will say I was surprised that ??? returned. OCW is heating up very quickly into 2010. Props for everyone that was involved in the main event, and made it what it was. Iceberg LeTuce Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Looks like i am to become a hoss then
Hazard Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 The reason me and Ice playing in Smackdown arena because we did actually played 2 matches as the first one had a rubbish ending because I broken the fpr rule twice by an mistake so the fpr police (Aries) told us to make a rematch instead. I did rehost another single match with the RR arena but then Ice show up and said that I have to rehost again because he wanted to invite Trip to be a person in the corner so he can make sure there is no broken rules this time. That's why I forgot to set the RR arena.

Hazard Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I told you what was wrong and you told me to fuck off. Just throwing that out there. Becuase you were shouting at me on AIM for 15min saying I broken the rules and refuse to do a rematch. All I just wanted to know if that ending accept or not from the fpr police and Aries said no and do a rematch so we did the rematch as they asked us to. Seriously why came on aim and pretend to be Nate as I asked "Are you Nate?" and you replied "Sure". Pretending to be one of the member and as a fpr police is aganist the rules. That's why I told you to fuck off and mind your own business.

You're a fucking moron that cannot understand a joke, I didn't pretend to be anyone, I was mocking your blatant inabiltiy to use your fucking brain. Why would Nate, being Oak-etc suddenly use my AIM? Fuck sake, your lvel of stupidity is rediculous, Aries nor I are full FPR police you dip shit. And you DID break the rules, I watched the match and I told you what you done wrong, you just refused to believe it was wrong because you needed your ratty little win. I talked to you for a long time before you randomly asked "Are you Nate?" So if you're going to try and talk about an incident provide a full account, twatfuckface. To clarify for the 5000000000000th time, Aries and I check out applicants, we then tell you if they have a level deemed acceptable to begin their OCW apprenticeship.
Nick Kage Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 just a quick note as a former FPR guy and being on both ends of the battle here yelling at someone about FPR sucks balls and makes OCWfed less fun and more of a job your not getting paid for. Also being yeld at over a video game makes OCWfed less fun to take part in.. just tossing it out there. "When you're pushed...
