As of this morning (16th of June) OCW personel have received news on an unforunate injury to one of their rookie superstars.

According to doctors, wrester Craig Casey has suffered an injury to his ribs, as a result of his performance at sunday's ppv damnation event. The update stated that Casey cannot be cleared to wrestle, and furthermore; that the recovery process will be several weeks.

Upon obtaining this information, OCW booking staff have had no choice other than to pull Casey from several upcoming events. These events include various house shows, and as of this moment, the next two riot tapings.

Medical staff believes Craig can make a speedy recovery, and be fit to return within the month. However, it should be noted that Casey is known for taking lengthy periods of time off of work following major bumps or even minor injuries. In late 2009, Casey took three months off, as a result of a bruised tailbone...an injury that most would recover from within only a couple of weeks.

With news traveling throughout the locker room, many are already questioning the sort of conditioning craig would be in upon returning. A source whom had worked with craig during his return a few months back is upon on of the doubters.

"The guy's a jackass. He pulls some strings around the back whenever he's coming back to get himself some hype, but looks shit as soon as he's expected to perform. When I had to work that tag match with him, the dude was way out of shape. Hell, ring rust aside, he'd showed for the match with a god damned buzz, and pretty much just left his boy out to dry for most of the match."

Another member of OCW's roster had similar criticism of the situation, and like many, are beginning to question Casey's passion, and commitment to the sport.

"Kid's a joke. If he wants to be here, he's gotta be here...simple as that. Don't expect to be rewarded when you're a guy who requests a sabbatical every time he takes a little bump."

Rumors of the possible sabbatical request could not be confirmed, however; ocw reporters did manage to get serveral quotes from top personel within the company.

A source higher up in management claims:

"Yeah, in either case, I can just work around it (casey's absense)...people really shouldn't be too bothered with any of this."

Management indeed isn't obsessing over any of this. In fact, when we questioned one of the bigger names of the brand, his only response was:

"Who the fuck is Craig Casey?"

Back to the update, it is said that the injury was a result of the sledgehammer shot craig took to the mid-section following his match with Wesley Adams Poe. Exact details this injury are fuzzy, but we can confirm that Casey was hospitalized for several hours on the morning of Monday, June 14th.

More updates to come as this story unfolds...
