This weeks show was kind of top heavy, speaking of Between X-Y RP's take note, IE Xander Rane review what you send in. It wasn't bad but when you have an rp that goes inbetween 2 matches that are literally back to back. It takes finagling, I don't like to finagle. Speaking of, A lot of you are getting into the habit of previously done RPS, which is fine but take care where you are on the card. Most can be used anywhere some require trickery. That being said, poor Cobretti can't ever catch a break always getting his ass whipped. The Monster, As far as attires go it was covered as he can attest via the PM I sent him as soon as I saw that. I will reiterate what I said. I was SUPER DISAPPOINTED, in the debut. What I envisioned was dashed away, that being said The Music is better than the first iteration, entrance needs a little work to be darker maybe corbin spotlight, and the attire is being worked on. I actually didnt like the mask in the match at first, but in retrospect with an offense that utilizes the head it works out better. Pretty much what I expected ACE do what ACE do not looking helpless but making people look good. Now as for who the monster is, I got to admit I got worked! Didn't know at all. It was an interesting surprised if I am honest. That being said any sentiment toward The Monster after realizing who he is would be to me be kind of bullshit. I let people's work speak for them. And since his inception Monster has delivered on the RP Front. Gotta love 2k series and that gamertag horseshit oof. More later, but I want to add Suda vs Sean, told a great story Suda working the legs with his smooth as silk thighs, and sean beasting the ever loving fuck out of suda. To that I say again I think Sean has move for move the best fucking moveset on the site. Everything he does looks like it should. One of my favorite spots was when Suda missed his whatever the fuck tope rope move only to land on his feet and roll, soon as he stands up sean snatches him like a baby and press slams him. Written wise this show has stepped it up. While admittedly not over bloated with RPS. The ones that we got to read where very well crafted. I love Monsters work but towards the end he went into Marvel Sub Villain Territory. But knowing that this was posted 2 weeks ago I know his next submissions will still be good albeit a lil toned down. A minor note, with Sean's opener when he came in and tried to speak to be drowned out by the crowd I would have liked if he audibley told them to SHUT UP, suddenly. as opposed to a post action mention. It's the little things I guess. I've come to notice if a show starts off strong it will hold my attention for the rest of the show if a show starts off with a horeshit opening rp I have to fight with myself to trudge on lil by little. I would have liked if Cobretti had an RP. I know your gamer gimmick isn't winning anyone over but win or loss you should still do something. It's the little things. I mean Nathan has painted the numbers for you and kass, but you coulda grabbed the mic and dropped something not even a full RP while you where holding the chair, but like a threat etc, a little bit of a initiative goes a long way in the creative process. Almost missed the champ's RP. But he had one simple and too the point. Take that as a lesson rooks, you don't need to be a mic wizard like Monsta and Carta, you can still convey your thoughts quickly, efficiency and push forward your angle.
