Another solid show. Afterward I worked on a new sig. What you guys think?
-
Oh, my bad, I should have been more specific. What I meant by ironic was... well, not too long ago I read this thread that said you weren't really from NorCal... http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_FtIe5gJs-L8/SBdxybATl9I/AAAAAAAAAJg/MwEI9SdWJjk/s400/p1_cheesehead.jpg

Stay retired, you wouldn't want an ironic end to your career.

I didn't choose to work with Frank, I chose to work with whoever the Hardcore Champ was at the time because no one else was, which is why I am currently involved with Wesley. He won the belt then jobbed it to running sig/fin on Riods and said he has other shit to do, and I haven't seen any of whatever he's got going. I made Frank who he is, I made people mark for him because I put him over, and he blows me and Wes off. But you proved the point that many people have been trying to make to you by saying you didn't chose to work with Valmont. You haven't done anything, so Nate put you in a situation that you could work with since you didn't seem to want to do that yourself. Valmont deserves to be champion. He earned that at Lution in the Future Investment match, he earned it when he defended that Future Investment contract against Anthony Martin, he earned it when he had a real match with Leon that was, in the end, storylined. He earned it when he got screwed at Damnation, and he earned it this week on Riot. You? I've been saying it all along, you earned nothing.

I'll give you credit for the idea of not shaving my head, but that's all I'll give you credit for. I actually was the one that made you look somewhat of a champion if that's even possible, combining my feud with your 3 way feud is what made people realize that there was a World Title. What I was working on with Frank was more credible than anything you did as champ and he still had to be a dick and back out of it, just to join your failure of a 'family'.

Justin Rockstar slaps Trips across the face with his right hand, sending him to the floor. ROCKSTAR: Shutup.
-
I don't know what you're definition of job and curtain jerker is, but I'm pretty sure that's where you sit right now.

Heaton is gay, and wrong.

You're a rook, so it's my pleasure to introduce you to... http://www.gibsontang.com/img/facepalm.jpg

The Rockstar Review "Fresh Air" Parker's return... sorry, new beginning, is bitter sweet for me. I'm glad to have the vet back, he's fun to work with, but I'm going to miss that facepainted psycho. I'll be honest though, I know what it's like to be burned out on a gimmick, so if Parker feels like this was the best move for him to make then I'm happy for him. I'm all about innovation, and marked for the whole breaking kayfabe thing. It's all about doing something no one's ever seen before. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the "new gimmick" if you could call it that, I'll need to give it some time before I can judge whether or not I mark out for it. "Beautiful" Billy Le'Beau is definitely a catchy name though, can't wait what turning over a new leaf does for the former Parker Stevens. Smith = Roid Rage HARDCORE TITLE - "Wonderful" Wesley© vs. Smith: A few good spots in this match, one most notibly is Frank managing to get that chair grapple off when Wesley was running at him. Wesley got his ass kicked in this match, but seeing Frank with a running Sig AND a running Fin is cheesey in my book. So now we have the return of Justin Rockstar. As I said before, like Parker, I was burned out on the Ozzy Osbourne gimmick and needed a breath of fresh air. Rockstar was coming back eventually, but I never planned on it happening this soon. Oh and for those who are wondering why this jobber is using pyro, step into the ring with him and he'll show you why. Plus, he's a rock star, gotta have the pyro! Sasha Starks is back, and it seems that she came out to warn us of Smythe's state of mind yet at the same time she's trying to take care of business. This is a nicely placed RP to set up for Smythe's return. I like Cross's RP, hyping up yet another open challenge. Black says that his opponent goes by the initials MMM?? COuld it be another returning Mad Man? Trevor McManus comes out and talks some smack and for that gets put in a match in the main event where he has to defend his title against Kelvin D'Angelo! Blockbuster announcement, keeps the interest going for the show. I'm psyched about this Main Event. Cross's Open Challenge: The Dean is ready for his open challenge, I'm patiently awaiting "Mad" Michael Morrison's return but... it's... "Money" Mike Mitchell... DAMMIT! I hope Cross crushes this jobber's ass... oh wait, he did. Good! Can't wait to see some real competition for the returning Cross. Raij and his translator cut a promo about a match that I don't remember seeing at Damnation... how odd. KoOCW winner Aries has dropped his Scottish heritage to adopt the English heritage... okay. Craig Casey comes out and talks and talks and talks and talks and talks and talks and talks and talks and talks and talks... Holy shit I don't even think my review will be as long as this kid's RP. EX CHAMPIONSHIP - Battle Royal: Evan Knox has returned! Now kick some ass kid! This actually wasn't that much of a clusterfuck if you ask me. I found it to be a really good EX Battle Royal. Good work guys, I don't like punks quitting out and retiring though. The family has a new member in Smith, wooptedoo. I along with many others think factions aren't a good idea at this time... but this should be noted. Trips = Triple H, Leon = Randy Orton, Smith = Batista. Now all you need to do is convince Regan to come back and you've got Evolution! Anyways... Nate comes out and addresses the State of OCW. I like seeing him talk about matches of the past, trying to restore the drama and insanity that was once OCW. Hopefully things will continue as they have for this show and I really hope this isn't all hype for Summercide. Trance cries to his buddy Aries about what went down in the EX Title match, then Knox comes in and says he's going to be defending the title against the returning Air next week! Another return! So many returns is usually a bad thing, but now that OCW has such few members, it's a great thing seeing so many returns. OCW World Championship: Trips© vs. Kelvin D'Angelo: I was disappointed that this match was storylined, but I'm sure there's a good reason for it. Leon gives The Dean two choices, join or fight. Something may be building here, very interesting. Smythe makes his return as the Alpha-Heel! He talks current events in OCW in a nice RP, but something doesn't quite seem right about the guy. Something else that's very interesting. Now the lackluster crowning of King Aries... Alex Robinson makes some blockbuster matches for next week. Things are shaping up very nicely, This Riot really surprised me in the fact that it was really solid. So solid in fact that it hyped up next weeks Riot. Like I said before... OCW IS BACK!
-
One thing's for sure... OCW IS BACK!
-
Dammit people get your own gimmicks! Stop thinking you're someone else!
-
First segment = CALLED IT!
-
PREDICTIONS: -Coop and a monkey could retain those belts. KoOCW Round One: -Blade over Greg Casey -Ryder over Smith -Guy over Aries -Xcalibur over Trance Round Two: -Ryder over Blade -Guy over Xcalibur FINALS: -Guy over Ryder OCW Title Match: -This is a tough choice, seeing as how the match could go any way. It really depends on whose hottest, but I have to say that Trips will retain in this one.
-
Hey guys, did you know that there was a Riot card?

And you can't escape the stench of a legend!

Guybrush is going to show you why a hobo holds a higher status than a pretty boy in OCW.
-
Oooooooooooooh time for Craig Casey to get a big dose of hobo reality! Great card by the way.
-
I mark out for this post because I can.
-
I have a prediction, and it may be a bit of a stretch, but I think it might be Josiah Cross...

WARNING! If you haven't watched the show... Don't read this review! Dickwad! The Prince of Dawkness Review Yes, the often immitated, never duplicated review by yours truly has returned! I would like to see some feedback to my reviews, what you agree with, what you disagree with... I mean you don't have to, but I don't write these things for nothing! RIOT -PAGE 1- The show kicks off with the newcomer Craig Casey, shooting his mouth off as he does in the shoutbox. I liked this RP, matter of fact, no matter how much I rip the guy, I like what he's bringing to the table. The Good looking Australian gimmick is interesting. I just hope he can back up his words against DJ Chino. DJ Chino vs Craig Casey: Okay, so judging by Craig's intro, I'm really starting to like this guy. Sure, he's like the Australian version of Deano Horse, but that isn't neccessarily a bad thing! On to the match. No matter how short it was, I found it to be enjoyable, a classic Underdog Face vs. "I'm better than you" Heel match. The combination of Casey's techical prowess and heel moves that adds insult to injury makes for a great in-ring showing of character. The flashiness of DJ Chino added to the entertainment of this match, Chino fought his hardest but the result ended in Mr. Casey's debut victory. I give this match 3.5 stars, and that's being nice. KD's up to something, no matter how much he denies it. Your RPs impove every week Kelvin, I would just like to see more detail, set up the venue, tell us what you're wearing, more importantly what Stacy Clark is wearing. JOZZY! My best work is yet to come, but expect more videos like this out of me. -PAGE 2- Frank ain't happy, and the fact that he has to defend the hardcore title that is being held hostage by Jozzy gives him a big disadvantage. Let's see what happens! HARDCORE TITLE - Frank Smith vs. "Wonderful" Wesley: Frank just seemed lost in this match, Jozzy must have really gotten into his head. Nothing seemed to go right for him, and just as he was looking to pull one over on Wesley, Jozzy's head games got the best of him. This wasn't a very hardcore match, but it was still a close one. I like Wesley's style, it seems that he's changed some moves up and has added a bit of a spark to his repertoire. 4 stars. Trevor "Trips" McManus shows up late for his interview, but who cares? He's the champ! A real cocky RP by Mr. McManus as he prepares to face Aries, but you know what they say, if you go in with anything less than confidence, you're bound to lose! -PAGE 3- Someone threatens to commit their own execution if they don't obtain OCW gold, but who? This is something like I've never seen before, creepy, but I sorta like it... Trips vs. Aries: LOL, someone forgot that they were in a match! A match that was amazing mind you. It could have gone either way as both competitors kept a back and forth flow. Trips is on a roll though, he gets the victory with the championship advantage. 4.5 stars. Nate comes out and makes some blockbuster announcements. I'm very curious about the Player Conduct Policy, the rest of the King of OCW competitors, and the new GM of Riot. Looks like things are heating up as we head to... ANIMOSITY -PAGE 1- The Arnaud Brothers claim to be the single most dominating tag team to blah blah blah... They haven't even had a match yet, how can they legitimately claim that? It would be more fitting if they said that they will BECOME the most blahdy blah tag team with the whody whats. Anyways... Xcalibur vs. Vincent Valmont: I found this to be quite an epic match, and I'm not saying that out of bias. I'm quite surprised by the outcome, a big win for Xcalibur, and I'm not saying that out of bias. 4 stars. -PAGE 2- Xcalibur gives a victory speech and proclaims that he will become champion and save OCW from the current Champion. Looks like a rising star in the making to me! Next, Trips prepares to shave Jozzy's head and gets Frank as backup to make sure Jozzy doesn't pull any tricks. Damn, now what am I going to do? There's no way I can get out of this! JOZZY! As I said before, my best work is still to come. Normally, I'm not a big fan of my own work, but I actually like this video that I made. I hope you all enjoyed it. Damian prepares to face Cruz in a gauntlet. Leon holds grudges and Cruz is in bad shape. Damian nor Leon have any remorse for what they're preparing to do to Cruz. Trips comes in pissed off because of what KD and Jozzy did to him. Leon seems to have the situation taken care of, either that or he only cares about his own situation. This RP ties the show together pretty strongly, every segment seems to segway itself smoothly to the next. -PAGE 3- A nice graphic of the King of OCW tournament is shown before the Gauntlet Match kicks off. I'm looking forward to the tournament, we need more tournaments like this in OCW. Gauntlet - Damian Christ vs. Carlos Cruz: If Cruz wins the entire gauntlet, he moves on to turn the Main Event title match at Damnation into a 4 way. He starts the gauntlet against Damian. This was another even match, but I was surprised by the ending. I was sure Cruz would take it and move on to his next opponent but it was not to be, must be having a hard time getting around the ring without shoes. Damian puts him out once again. 3 stars. Leon comes out to congradulate Damian and punt Cruz in the skull to add insult to injury... or injury to insult... I don't know. This segways smoothly to the next match as KD comes out to check on Cruz and challenge Leon to a match. -PAGE 4- Leon vs. K.Dangelo: This was a very nice and smooth match. KD is proving that he can compete with the top dogs as he gave Leon a run for his money. WHAT?? KD no-sold the punt! He's got this match now! But... NO! Leon puts him back down with the LKO and ends it. Another great match 4.2 stars. Leon has KD taken away by security and announces that the King of OCW Tourney is cancelled and that he will be facing Trips for the title at Damnation! He's screwed Valmont and KD out of their title shot! But wait... Nate comes out to save the day! He fires Leon as GM and makes all of his changes void! There is a God, and it's Nate Ortiz! But who will the new GM be as announced next week on Riot? Summary: This was a pretty damn good supershow. A lot of great content and a lot of great matches. As usual, I'd like to see more RPs but this was a solid show. Nate adds to the interest with the three blockbuster announcements that he made on Riot. I'm looking forward to the attractive show next week!
