Suda in old OCW... After the button mashing subs were gone and auto-win came to OCW we all but banished the submission finisher... It wasn't banned, but nowone had one because it was cheap... So basically having a sub finisher lowers your credibility with me.... Substantially!!! I never like redoing matches... I hardly watch matches that I know are staged... OCW isn't about putting on a TV show... It's about playing the game... Your supposed to get online and record your matches so people see how the match went down when Smythe got online and played whomever... DM's are to practice your spots and work on your wrestling skills on the sticks... If you can land a spot do it... But don't let a guy hit a spot cause it looks good... Hit your spots cause the other guy can't stop you... This is why we need a kickout rule... And maybe a course on ethics... OCW is a place to showcase talents... From video editing to creative writing... But we are here to compete and perform... We record matches to see how each other plays in the heat of competition and to see how the matches go down... And people hold titles because they are monsters on the sticks... Impressive with the showmanship and clutch when the heat is on... We need to bring the pride back... This isn't a casual gaming thread... You have to be the best out there to be the shit in OCW (like me ;) )

It's so crazy watching shows now f you've been here for years... Pugh is OCW's Zack Ryder... pretty much the only guy I mark for when I just see his name... he's like Eddie Allen for me.. he was awesome too... the Writing has gone to a whole new level with the former Amibition guys coming in... Rp's are good now... they aren't funny like the Old schoolers... but everyone can't be a comedian... The ME guys now... Dane, Valmont, Aries, Leon, are straight workhorses... quality content week after week... D-Jack's finally found his footing... I'm happy for him... Jookie is a crowd favourite as well... by default... OCW's best Stoner character and one of our best writers... Tibby has the impossible task of trying to write as a face character... we realized early in OCW that it's pretty much impossible unless your making fun of people... and kicking everyone's ass... He's doing a Nately job so far tho... and the Dimsmore feud is awesome... Suda is on an incredible run... (not so much the matches, hate to say it... but I don't give any respect to the auto-win sub-finish) but his work is top of the line... he might be having the most fun here... and that's what were here for... K.D is the new Adrian Bold... He's playing clean only if he loses... isn't fair.. but I guess he earned the title... I do suggest tho that people partner up and feud a bit more... working with Tyro is pretty awesome so far... bouncing ideas and suggestions off each other is what OCW is about... building and creating... oh yeah... Riot was Awesome that is all... and starting next week I'll be critiquing matches... and i'll be tough... I want to see the in ring shit clean up a bit goign forward!!!

yeah that's why I was thinking they should be fire finishers... the sig will be hit... and the kickout will be at 2 for sure... so everyone will know that it was a fire finisher... and you can only get one by hitting a sig or reversing a finisher... so it works out... I do want to see some kind of rule tho... so matches have a uniform ending to them... as opposed to the almighty sub-finisher solving 90% of the matches (yes I hate because Smythe isn't a sub wrestler)

Maybe the rule should be 2 fire finishers in a row = death... and Valmont is right... if we can't install a simple kickout rule we're doomed...

I haven't watched any of the matches this week... be we also have noted that hitting finishers on guys that aren't hurt is pretty gay... I think there needs to be a decision on that stuff... cause I think rolling out of the ring on a finisher that's hit too early isn't too bad... Maybe we'll have to have a RULING on it... lol

glad you guys are finally starting to take a look at the quality of the matches... some perks are left to the responsibility of the people using them... which is why in the past perks were kept from certain people or banned altogether... I still believe nowone should have Kip Up... but rolling out of the ring on sigs and finishers isn't classy at all... Also we might want to limit the kickout rule to fire finishers... only because we don't know when the "F" finishers are coming at all... would suck to job to a random press of the Y button as opposed to two finishers set up with a Sig and wake-up taunts... and Tyro was right Reese you dropped the ball this week for us with your sickness... loser (kidding)... but communication would have solved that as well...

I'll just throw it out there that doing commentary every week is way too much work for anyone to have to put in... I say we make it a PPV thing... Which would make those matches amazing going forward!!! Show's been awesome so far!!!

Ocw is on a good roll ATM... CG was a great PPV... Lacking the stories to make it over the top great... A lot of matches were clearly RP'ed out... Which was disheartening... But it keep the place going with smooth storylines... OCW's biggest problem is the lack of tiers in terms of skill... We can' t have those deep tourney systems with epic showdown conclusions because matches are won and lost due to lag and timing more than game skill... And there's no fix for it... Pretty much the only fair way to do it is to have everyone have a sub move and everyone races to the second finisher... Lol RD not being at his PPV was sad yet again... But Parker and Leon should heat up to be Lution ME quality... I also see Tibby and Suda on a crash course for Lution as well... I'd mark... D-Jack and Pugh... Mez and KD... And we have the makings of some great Feuds... Smythe is also gonna be a huge Lution draw (as always)!!!

I was gonna say... I stabbed Leon in the back... cause I'm different... but fuck the haters Leon, your character is consistent... Also let it be a lesson to all of you guys to just put in work and it'll be appreciated... my comeback video was nothing special at all... but I made one and people I'm sure weren't impressed with how it looked it's just the fact it was there... thanks for the love guys... Shows are as loaded with content as they've ever been and the content is great... can't wait for CG guys!!!

LOL This is why I love Steve... this is how he talked to me for the first Year I was in OCW... no matter how awesome I rp'ed and how hard I jobbed... We grow to love this place... I took shit from alot of guys for years, I gave it back of course... but it's like an actual Locker room on the forums... you put in your work, take your lumps, work on your in ring style, work on creative writing, learn to type 60 words a minute and plot and scheme with people on how to put a kick ass video together. I love it anyway point is... We've all known Dane for years now... and he's done some greaseball unloyal shit... prior to this amazing run he's having (and yes Dane is borderline amaizng for OCW currently) he was on a ban from the site for a bunch of greaseball shit... from lying about his controller dying to planning to hack the site or something like that... Someone who plans to take something away from people who value it so much for personal reasons is pretty much a Douchbag... and no matter how good he is at programming and editing I'm pretty sure the people with power know that giving him any kind of real access is asking for alot of trouble... Dane also apparently keeps poor company... that could be apart of the problem

I think CCW would be the right course of action... That being said I wouldn't want to go there... Riot is my show!!! And am I the only person who Marked for Leon screwing Pato??? It's like history repeating... Awesome shit... Just need a Pee Stee sighting to make it all complete

OCW looks to be in good spirits and this show was pretty awesome... Not really a fan of Pato jobbing in back to back shows... I do love the Suda angle tho... should it have ended the show? no... but it was sweet... Leon is just being the Icon he is... Smashing rookies, Calling out HOF'ers and using big galutes to his advantage. Such poetry... Reminds me of me!!! goos shit as always. Good to see Valmont kicking ass again. His character needs to be winning to work. Similar to Aries but in different light. Angry black man angle always works... One of my fav characters in WWE is Mark Henry... Mez is pretty much like him... Jookie and KD have come into their own... KD jobbed the hell out of Letuce... I'm a firm believer that Sub-finishers are cheese tho... If i had my way nowone using subs to win should be allowed near a title... especially when they don't use sub moves all match... but lucky for us all I'm not god pages may have been too much for one show but storyline progression is important... and this show looks like it'll be going into a very nice PPV... Good job guys and I can't wait to come back and whoop some asses in my ring!!!!

We must be forgetting who put you over at Lution 6!!! anyway... I have an announcement... OCW season 7 can now be complete... Next week on Riot.. Smythe D. Wonder returns to OCW!!! No more questions on whose RP should end the show... cause it should be mine... no more questions on who looks the best in the ring... cause it'll be me... On the real tho, that ME ending was WTF enough to have ended the show... would have left an awesome cliff hanger going into next week111

I'm assuming the only reason we aren't using our own arena is because community creations is unusable atm... what a show tho... some great moments... but not ZOMFG... which makes it a good building pot for future shows... Matches were shorter but a mash of grapple and reverse keeps them from being interesting just yet... I did see a few spots tho... we'll see how they develop as time passes with the new game and we get unique playing styles for characters... Suggesting a Sub stat of 85 for permission to use sub-finishers... because it does look like an auto-death need opinions on that tho... also I'm going to put my little Authority to good use around here... I am requesting that everyone on the roster sends me an MP3 of their current theme (as well as any old ones you can Muster up) I'd like them emailed to Smythedawonder@gmail.com. The idea is one Zip file for download with all current OCW themes so we no longer have to ask for themes in the future... but again great show can't wait to see what's going to happen next week!!!

Through this we know that he has no intentions of returning to Riot barring a fine from "Our Hero" himself, Mr. Sensation. He tweets. "I saw the promo Riot Card. But "Our Hero" isn't here." Referring to Sensation's own lengthy absence from OCW programming. he also tweets. "I'll see you on saturday, where the hardcore fans are, But the boycott ends after S2R" Which suggests that this is the last week Smythe Dawonder plans to miss Riot tapings and will return to "the house he has built" next week. Time will tell.

I tip my hat to Suda... dude was spotting all over the place... awesome match... Show was great... I love having a second show... makes everything kinda connect around here... commentators were a lil bland this week tho... common AA I know you have greatness in you!!!

OCW insider caught up with the returning superstar Smythe Dawonder at his Toronto Mansion/loft/condo/super awseome place to live to ask him some personal questions. Most importantly why is he only showing up on Asylum and not on Riot. Insider: Smythe thanks for doing the interview. Smythe: You know I always have time for media. It's great to be back and to have you guys back at my door as usual looking for the inside scoop. Insider: I'm gonna cut straight to what the people want to know. Smythe we know you just had a Son with your wife Sasha and your spending alot of time at home with your new family. But people are starting to say that you are "Boycotting" Riot and preferring to work weekends on the new and legendary Asylum program on Saturdays. What's the deal? Smythe: That baby thing was supposed to be a secret. Thanks... I hate you reporter people. But the answer is simple. The Boss is nowhere to be found. So basically unless there's a reason for me to be at Riot, I most likely will take the week off. Insider: Then why are you at Asylum every week? It seems like Treason that you'd abandon the very show that you claim. Smythe: Riot will always be the house that Smythe Dawonder built. When I'm ready to come home it will be mine as it always was. But Asylum never treated me well. But last week I put Aries through a table... and this week!!! Insider: What's happening this week??? Smythe: You'll have to watch to find out.

I singed on with an indie label in search for a major... had a crazy summer... making a name as a hotshot producer... and messing with some pretty hot chicks that want to be the next Amber Rose... meh kinda close... but I can't write a verse to save my life without the energy from this place... think I need to be super-creative all the time... plus you get practice video editing all the time... this place serves so much purpose it's amazing!!!

WHoley Shit... Jay the Finale is amazing!!!! matches look better this way I think... purposeful Tylers are trashy tho... I think the rule was made so we don;t have those accidental tylers resulting in a break of action... but it separates the talented players from the mashers very well tho... hopefully we'll see the division in skill again that we had in the previous games now... I was pretty much unbeatable in 2010... Unless someone kicked out of 3-4 finishers... And guess what Trevor..... Wait for it.... THAT GAME SUCKED!!!! Because your good at a game doesn't make the game good... How could you play in the era of 08 and even 09 and say that this game is good mechanics wise??? Every match is as simple as... Everyone's has their finger pasted on the right trigger... And it's a battle of who's less laggy and who plays cheesier... We see it every week... 2012 needs to bring the left trigger reversal back... I'm sure we can tie the drag to another button...
