Pick Your Poison Handicap - The Believers vs DNS 2 ¾ Seltzers After last week's contest the crowd didn’t have hope for The Believers this was cemented by the fact it was a 3 on 2 handicap title match. Marathon of a match, nice to see Samsin back in ring action.Tag team cohesion from both teams, despite the odds the believers held there own for a majority of the match against insurmountable odds. Main Event - Wrex vs. Tony Everrett - 3 ¾ Seltzers 1st time meeting between the 2 in singles competition. Crowd was thoroughly invested. Underground Fight Club - The Collective vs. DNS - 2 ¾ Seltzers Incredible visceral visual, Crowd enjoyed the chaotic encounter, lots of carnage in the 6 man affair, didn’t overstay its welcome. Aleksander Bolek vs Wrex - 3 ½ Seltzers Boleks open challenge as answered by none other than Wrex. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed the Wrex reveal. Bolek managed to hold his own against Wrex. Both men played to their strengths with Wrex, Brawling and Bolek using his athleticism and precision strikes. Dragana vs. Amy Jade Miller - 3 ¾ Seltzers Crowd really enjoyed it, most assumed Dragana would be a foregone conclusion. AJM controlled the 1st parts of the match gaining an advantage only for Dragana to push the pace and even things up and change the temperature of the match. Lots of back and forth, counter wrestling and a truly “Frenetic” Pace Main Event - N.A. Championship - Viktor Karmine vs. Paul Boulet 3 ¾ Seltzers A long standing grudge match has come to a head. Crowd enjoyed the bout. A lot of old school pacing and movement. With both men trying to slow each other down with submissions. Boulet held his lead for a majority of this match using dastardly and ASStardly tactics, shocking the crowd. Cockbyrne vs. "Pretty" Pierre Cockbyrne - 3 ½ Seltzers - Took us back to the 80s and early 90s flavor of Pro Wrestling. - The crowd seemed to love the new rookies and the old school mentality. 2. Mass Effect vs. The Believers - 2 ½ Seltzers - The rookie team of Mass Effect dominated and defeated Chris Green & Joe Deaver. - The raw power of Mass Effect was too much for The Believers to handle. 3. Amy Jade Miller vs. Harper LeRoux - 3 ¾ Seltzers - Frenetic pace and action-packed. - Both rookies fought fiercely with an even pacing throughout the match. 4. Breaking News: Incident between OCW General Manager EMP AKA Kumiko Tanaka and CEO Mr.Sensation A recent incident between OCW General Manager EMP and CEO Mr.Sensation has come to light, causing tensions to rise within the organization. The incident occurred last Friday, during which heated words were exchanged between the two parties. EMP claims that Mr.Sensation is actively trying to sabotage her career and purposely cut her match from the Summercide event out of spite back on August 26th. Mr.Sensation, on the other hand, has stated that the match was cut due to time constraints on an extensive 11 match card. He has tried to apologize to both EMP and Furiosa, with Furiosa being appreciative and EMP responding belligerently. Further complications arose when EMP's flight out of Puerto Rico was delayed, leading her to once again accuse Mr.Sensation of creating a hostile work environment. In response, Mr.Sensation has pointed out EMP's repeated defacing of OCW property, resulting in deductions from her salary. Witnesses have given conflicting accounts of the incident. One witness claims that EMP lunged at Mr.Sensation and had to be restrained by Shianne Lovelace and OCW COO Drago Cesar. Video/Match wise show was super watchable to me. I don't know if the recent patch had any effect on anything. But the last 2 or 3 maybe shows have "felt" different than Summercide 2023 Everybody kicks out till 3 finisher fracas! Who knows more testing required I guess. As for the Text version of the show I was incredibly annoyed because it felt too chaotic to put everything in any kind of order for large swathes of the show. I'm going to keep saying it but less is more. I don't expect anyone other than me to understand that from a show compiling perspective. And realistically I shouldn't expect anything seeing as how our shows are put together ALA Carte in the sense you submit content I try to put it where it needs to go as opposed to a formatted television program where I am telling whoever is involved , You are Segment 1, you are Segment 9 etc. It's just jarring to read someone in an RP Backstage then, some random other location later in the show. "PREVIOUSLY recorded" can help but it just becomes a crutch where someone will have a early match and a prev recorded segment goes on later.
