  1. Use your mind and think about it. Not everything can be straight up literlarly explained. Im about half way done...Cross Examination makes its return.
  2. Well done Bold. Ill have a few more words later. Death Row isn't invited? More importantly I, Josiah Cross? Well we will just have to see about that.
  3. Nice work Crowe! CCW needed someone step and write a review. Keep it up. Regaining health is pretty cheap as well, but I see what youre saying. Quick notes from me. Tyro's entrance is incredible. Damn good. Main event was super close. Came down to the final seconds, either guy could have walked away the winner. Trips has been putting on solid matches, keep up the good work.
  4. A-Jax broke two FPR rules in his match...RETEST! IM PISSED!!! Dude your outlook on rookies sucks. You are way to hard. Are you saying FPR police arent doing their jobs. They arent just getting tested and then accepted...atleast I dont think thats the case. For a first singles match and maybe 5th FPR match total it wasnt horrible. Quit making it out like its absolutely unacceptable. You grow from mistakes. If you are that hard on the god damn rookies open up a Jobber School and train them. Your expectations are way to high. OCW doesnt have a bootcamp to send these guys through FPR practices its one test and read rules. I know what horrific FPR looks like and neither of their matches were that. D-Jack has been here what 3 years had how many matches, dont even compare the two totally different issues. If you expect rookies to have perfect FPR their first singles matches you are oblivious. You didnt even get a chance to land any moves your first 10 matches because you couldnt get a move in. However you got to see how it all works. A-Jax and Mace are both still learning, cut some damn slack and help correct them rather then complaining for retests. A retest isnt going to do anything they passed for a reason. Get them practice and it will be good. I don't care about your opinion, because its so damn negative and makes no progress other then calling someone out...and you use so many... ... ... ... ... its annoying as hell and not even worth reading. For the record I Markout for your effort not your opinion. Effort is respectable your opinions arent. Edit: I went a way for a bit, and realized this was a nice debate we had. Jabs were thrown which I like. We both see how rookies should be delt with different which is respectable, I dont agree with yours you dont agree with mine. But I'm done with it, not going to reply to another comeback post. Ill just leave it with one last thing. There's a reason you and I don't run this place Smythe. With that said IM OUT.
  5. I just think the whole rookie system and the expectations for first matches is flawed. I think Ambition is a great idea but shouldnt be looked at as a Riot or a Turmoil but as like a boot camp/training show. That way people know rookies will make mistakes and we can watch and help them out with it. Also comment how they improve. Then throw guys like Valmont and Baxter at them after a few matches are under their belt. It's only fair to both. Hell Id love to see Death Row beat BDTT on Riot, but they are unexperienced and that is a BIG match...expectation are high...its not fair to both experienced FPR players and Rookies trying to learn. I just think Ambition need to be re-looked at as like a training facility show. I knew bringing in two rookies and making a faction I would fiind myself in this situation but that was one of the main reasons I did, just to go through this whole process again and see things through their eyes and help develop our rookie system.
  6. That is a good point Kage. Maybe we have something where rookies first 3 matches are against other rookies and once theyve played eachother a few times and people get the chance to watch their matches then they are thrown opponents who fully know how FPR works. I dont know thats actually a good question you asked. Added: I think it's equally unfair expecting Rookies to have FPR down in their first matches after only requiering them to read the rules and have one FPR test. It's a lot of pressure put on their sholders to meet the expectations. And to have people like Smythe calling them out like he did for their first matches doesnt help moral I tell you that. Both Mace and A-Jax arent posting anything because they have nothing to say about because they were mistakes...and they can't talk back to people like Smythe who rip them on their first singles matches. I see it both ways as being unfair.
  7. Well said, and I totally agree with you on last part. Had the match been re-done with perfect FPR how is that teaching any of the rookies who watch anything. Not everyone is going to have FPR down to a T in their first matches. You need mistakes to be made and discussed and learned from. If you re-do all these matches on Ambition for FPR breaks... 1. You will get tons of complaints once people find out matches are being re-done. 2. Many are going to be rookies and it's only going to be about winning and losing in their first matches so they will do whatever it takes to win (a lot of FPR breaks). 3. Like VV said, learn from example, the moral of this show and thread is Dont pick up in double orange and dont hit a finisher in double orange either. Lesson learned. Had the match been re-done other rookies most likely wouldnt have taken any notice to the match. More people have been refreshed or taught the rule because of it. And those are pretty much my final words.
  8. Smythe im sorry but you are totally oblivious. I have said SEVERAL times I told them what they did incorrectly. As did you. Im not telling them that picking up before orange/red is right. Or hitting a finisher before orange/red is ethically right. I spent A LOT of time trying to explain all the FPR rules to them...PRACTICE is what they need, and I see Ambition a place to do it. Since not everyone wants to play SvR for fun like you do. In my opinion you should have no input on rookies. You think because you are in the Sensational Alliance...youve won a few matches this month you run the place. Calling Mace and A-Jax out for needing to be re-tested, having incredibly bad FPR...who are you have any say over these things. You are the only one making a big deal about it. They are ROOKIES, it was their first "real" singles match. And if you watch the damn match its a few breaks here and there but nothing incredibly bad other than A-Jax finish which is EASILY corrected. So shut your mouth...your words make no sense. "Dont go telling them its ok..." SHUT THE HELL UP! Read what I god damn type. Give A-Jax and Mace the rookie start you had and I garuntee through the teachings of all these "top guys" their FPR would improve. You say they got it easy with this show...actually you had it easy. So shut your mouth and gets your facts right. Damn Jobbers.
  9. FPR will develop through playing matches. You can't expect them to read and know it all. It's a lot to consume. This is why I like Ambition a lot. It will give these rookies a chance to get experience. I can't play these guys every day and help teach them everything. I mentioned everytying they did wrong to them and they know but practicing FPR is what makes things perfect and being timid rookies they havent asked like others to play matches outside the OCW booked ones. Ive seen much worse FPR matches from rookies, but with the minimal experience they have had I was impressed. Despite the breakages you pointed out, it wasn't unberable to watch. Simple mistakes that are easily corrected through FPR match experience. THATS WHY WEVE GOT AMBITION!
  10. Yeah, forgot he also picked him up. I just had the whole finisher in double orange turning you red in my head. I know in 07 that was ethics, but was changed for running finishers, then pretty much accepted for all. Edit: I talked to VV and he said he was dissapointed with the ending but that he felt it was one of the fairest matches hes had in awhile in OCW. If you watch A-Jax does extremly well with the FPR, sometime to fair backing away after reverses. It was just the ending. I believe that half of the reason for this show will be to critique rookies FPR, you re-do all the matches for breaks...there will be a lot of re-dos. So have them post then critique for the next match. Its not like these matches make or break people. That is my opinion for what Ambition should be about.
  11. We are on the card but I think you ment to post that on the show So is it against FPR or is it Ethics because are rookies expected to know "Ethics" in their first singles matches.
  12. He broke an "Ethics" Rule and the whole match was well played until that point so it wasnt worth re-doing. He knows of his mistake.
  13. That it is...DEATH ROW PEOPLE! GET IT RIGHT. Its listed as Prison Break on Riot so thats where people probably got the idea. RD also called us Prison Break and everyone just follows Greatness so thats probably why.
  14. Yeah true, still called them as bad as rookie Smythe which is...very bad.
  15. That was indeed very surprising. Crazy. But I was mainly just calling out Smythe after he said they sucked just as bad as him when he started out yet both have wins after their second match.
  16. WE ARE DEATH ROW! NOT PRISON BREAK! It was a huge showing by both A-Jax and Mace. Watch their matches people both are damn good. There were a few FPR breaks but I've talked to them about it and they know what not to do next time. But for rookies and only being their 2nd match I was damn impressed. My work has paid off, I've really helped to bring these guys in and work with them so they aren't just the typical rookies with bad FPR and run their mouths like they own the place. Oh and take back your words Smythe. Calling my partners terrible and just like the rookie Smythe. Well they won in their 2nd match so yeah...no more rookie Smythes.
  17. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn good looking card. Some great matches.
  18. Im away right now, but im going to try and get a Cross Examination in. Might be a bit later. WHO THE HELL WAS THAT GOLDEN ROOKIE?! Pun intended! Edit: I got my ass handed to me.
  19. Make yourself or break yourself ha. OCW needed one of these shows, looking forward to it. Some good matches for its debut.
  20. I still got a good year atleast, but when I get the time I will post this crazy dream I had about OCW. Thanks again to those who commented on my R2G video!
  21. Oh I also forgot to mention it was damn good to see a new show is being added for the Rooks. Much needed. Nice work Vimes. Also I see you are giving out a lot of two pointers Smythe...is it possible to make a 3?!
  22. noted, I never watch TNA's anyway...unless im flipping channels and I come upon it.
  23. That is a very strong possibility as I rather make a video like that than write a bunch. And theyd be much more memorable. I'm glad that you guys all liked it, thought it would be a nice way to add to the PPV. Kage mentioned one for every show, I'm actually not ruling that out. If Riot and Turmoil could each get a theme song, being much shorter then PPVs, I could deffinitly see the Cross Examination evolving into video recaps. However the only issue I see is how close Turmoil and Riot are. Right now im only writing about OCW and to do two videos within two days might be much. BUT never say never, definitely something im pondering. If you havent seen the video I posted yet it is on page 7 I believe of this thread GO CHECK IT OUT! Thanks for the positive feedback guys.
  24. Cross Examination (***3/4 out of ****) Wanted to give Road to Glory a 4…but I’m expecting big things from Wrestlelution. One hell of a PPV. Congrats to everyone, job very well done. So I said earlier it would be a special edition of the Cross Examination. One, I didn’t feel like typing out and making everyone read a long thing about the PPV. Two, I wanted to talk about CCW matches as well and I just wouldn’t have had time to do that (Would if I could Mania). Third this was definitely a PPV to remember so I thought what could I do to make it even more memorable. Fourth, having my song chosen as the PPV theme inspired me some. This was definitely a turning point for OCW. We saw many huge surprises, twists and turns, and things are really shaping up and getting interesting headed into the grandest PPV of them all. So…rather than telling the rookies how much they suck, or how much I hate this persons finisher, or how bad some ones CAW looks (ill leave that to you Smythe), Ill simply give you a compilation video that will sure make everyone feel that their time, effort, and work was all worth it. Took me awhile to make this and get it uploaded on youtube (being a bitch) so I hope everyone enjoys it. Few notes, Double A your CAW/music/return was and is badass. Major mark from me. Bold’s shirt was funny. Guy turning on the alliance was a shocker, I thought it could be the end of Versus. Smythe to the Alliance was a shocker, Mania to the Alliance was a shocker, Kage to the Alliance was a shocker. Damn I don’t know what to say this faction appears to be unstoppable. Bauer, two chances, luckiest dude in OCW/CCW, came up short. Well done though, you fought two very tough competitors and held your ground in both matches. Once again, awesome PPV. I’m sure Road to Glory will soon not be forgotten. (Youtube image should load in a bit, hopefully it works, youtube is being a pain in the ass right now) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tnRf2ScDzQ]YouTube - Road to Glory Recap[/ame]
