I figure I would go ahead and do a review on this show while I sit here waiting for this big winter ice storm that is supposed to hit my area to start in case it knocks my internet out for a bit. So lets do it.
Opening promo from our acting CEO was good up until the end then it went into the toilet. Bobby Minio makes his in ring debut tonight when he actually made his debut last week and nothing about The Hollywood Heel Michael Hollywood finally making his in ring return, Really Leon? Really?! All in all solid promo but at the end Leon seemed as out of touch with the OCW product as Dixie Carter does with the TNA product.
KD had a good RP but I think I like the angry black man KD more than the calm KD.
I enjoyed the Minio vs Lucky match although I do agree with Trance about the pacing of the match but that will improve with more OCW matches no doubt these guys have a bright future in OCW.
Tibby's Rp with Face was excellent. I am really enjoying this Goldust twitching version of Dupree it's different and really entertaining.
Pugh and Sean did a really good job of setting up their Main Event match in a entertaining way.
I think a feud between Raze and Bedlam could be great. They are both crazy as can be and if you put them both together like on this show then you have some funny stuff and I can't wait to see them face each other in the ring or the looney bin I would watch it either way.
The unification match between Matsuda and Espado was a good match but I would have liked it better if the match had more build to it and was advertised. It was a unification match and should have been treated as a big deal with a important feel instead of feeling like just another match made on the fly.
Solid Rp from Dimsmore and a good match with Irving. Speaking of Irving I thought he was feuding with Valmont but last week nothing from either one of them and this week Irving mentioned Valmont briefly in his Rp but that was it. I know it was said they were going to take this feud slow but at the rate they are going their feud isn't going to pick up any steam until the 2K15 season.
Nice to see another vet do some Rp work with Minio again this week.
A state Fair in Michigan this time of year seems out of place to me but still a nice spot for Cody to get on the show and add a little more heat to the Cerberus relationship. I think a Cody vs Sean feud is money and I hope they pull the trigger on this soon while their is a lot of interest in seeing it happen.
Tobin Frost vs C.M. Trance was good and Trance seems to be on a roll match wise.
Sean vs. Pugh was a good Main Event match and could be a money feud down the road but I would still like to see Sean vs Cody first.
Looks like pugh was double crossed by the A-Team I guess OMG offered them more money but you can bet all of us in C4 will get our revenge OMG be ready to pay for what you have done.
All in all great show I enjoyed it and I'm glad was finally able to make my in ring return on this show.
