Why would I watch any segment you're involved in? #Cancelledsanity.

Hit me up when you have a gimmick that Trance didn't run into the ground when you were still cutting yourself with crayola safety scissors kiddo.

I truly feel like the first few months a rookie is in OCW can tell you a lot about if they're here to stay and I'd definitely say Uncrowned seem like they're here to stay. Telos has been getting it in too.

Nate and Tibby were referenced at least a dozen times and I was only responsible for two a piece. You're getting Betelgeused.

Glad to see a couple of the rookies still pushing content out and being active. Not sure how many of the rookie class are on Xbox but I feel like there should still be more rookies contributing judging by the size of the class on the roster page.

but did anyone audit that thot's taxes?

Why play dumb? You're the one who's been editing it for me.

I know people, especially rooks would scoff at it but I've suggested some kind of dues system a while back now. I've been in a lot of efeds in the last 20 years legit, I've rarely seen any that last this long, with consistent work put in. Fedheads always burn out or flake and leave a roster sitting with their thumbs up their ass, and the efeds I was in over the years were working with video content or anything like that. A lot of real work goes into OCW week after week and I'm not saying we should be paying Jay to quit his job and work OCW full time but, we should at least be able to make sure Jay doesn't have to ever come out of pocket for supplying us with a hobby outlet. I also suggested Jay start a collection jar for people (like myself) who would like to see Jay throw money at a web designer.

Don't forget that choosing your spots and minimizing damage is a major part of boxing and MMA. You can't block everything but you want to do your best to block the shots that will do the most damage. That's exactly how the limited reversal system works.

CSGO = Counter-Strike Global Offensive. I understand what you're saying in the context of fighting games, but the fact that you look at WWE as a fighting game, and not a wrestling game, shows how much this franchise has fucking failed the concept of pro wrestling. You can make the argument that the skilled players will rise to the top, and have matches with better parity, and sure that's true, but then we have to listen to all of the top OCW names bitch and moan about how bored they are of feuding with the same people over and over again and justifying retirement or inactivity around that. So is it really worse now? What is the consensus we've reached? It's closed the gap a bit but the cream still rises to the top? That sounds like the perfect solution for the issue of being bored with only being able to have good matches with the same 3 people for the last 8 years.

CSGO, there is what's known as the loss bonus, so as one team is losing consecutive rounds, the amount of money they get at the beginning of the next round increases gradually, allowing them to get a chance back into the round. There are still absolute steam rolls, but it creates a better chance of parity between equally matched teams, leading to more competitive matches that are more entertaining for the viewers. If the money system wasn't designed that way, teams that won the first full buy round would dominate most of a half based on a single round being won, and the losing team would need to get lucky by winning a round with a fraction of the effective gear as their opponent.

Mechanical control is a skill set too though. Compare my win over H2O to my two losses. In that win I was using the mechanics a lot more, rest holds, baited him out to the outside, outside contextual moves, in the subsequent two matches I basically just tried to stand and bang with him and got handled. It's not like I was hiding in that first match I just used way more of the tools available and it benefited me. Coming from a background in games like Counter-Strike, sure someone can just have outright raw skill and have pinpoint accuracy, but if they are not using all of the mechanics to their benefit, jiggle peeking angles, a meticulous knowledge of the different nades, smokes and flashes... their professional career will be very short lived, if occur at all. With my background in traditional esports, having seen some of the best players that gaming has ever known up close in high pressure matches, I always felt that the fact that WWE games were reduced to little more than reversal control and running attacks in the actual online gameplay (away from FPR) was it's major downfall and why it was a joke compared to truly balanced games. I think the points about hit detection are spot on though, and the way the game calculates animations with hit detection, things like that. Fighting Games players who study frame data for move selection would hang themselves watching WWE's hit detection. Then you have the Kass discovered layer of how many of the moves do not do proper damage, how many of the stats are totally broken, shit like that are all completely legitimate complaints. I just don't agree that mastering the mechanics is some display of lesser skill.
