The end part of the show really ironicly sums up the vicious cicle of wrestling, tv or video game lol. Some guys who "look the part",may even posses the ability to entertain and fued properly but can't win the matches, to make them a sustainable champion. Some guys who are capable of making a credible defending champion, lack the presence and charisma of a champion, And you have the small few who have both, but get tired eventually from being relied upon everytime and they dont want the burden of being a champion, lol. -------------------------------------------------------- Also, something that i picked up as like an underling theme from the podcast. Caw appearance and charachter image are so much more important then people realise. Like i mentioned in a different post. Your caw basicly determines the minamal and maximum of your potential place on the roster. And its just my personal believe that its just Cody's caw that doesnt look the part. For me "looking the part" is a more powerfull tool then "writing the part". For example, Jay is an excellent writer, BUT under the persona of "Leonheart" that writting gets overwhelmed, over powered in a way by the image that people have of Leonheart. I think this is basicly the same problem that Cody has right now. An "image" is established and i dont think any amount of writing is going to be able overcome that problem.

I leave the discussion on whos Main event to others. In terms of true ex guys, we never had allot of those. Even most Ex characters we did have were Default face gallore or half assed alts. CJ hoppus,Air,DJ Chino,Djack ..all former EX guys but all with the CAW charisma of a peanut. (sorry Ronald ;_;) And i think to have an interesting EX division, you need interesting looking Caws to make it exciting. Its hard to fued within EX division when most guys look either so out of place you can't take them serious, or so damm plain you cant figure out what the hell you should be fueding about. I've held the EX title for almost a year i think and as far as i remember ive only managed to fued with Jookie ( who vanished occasionally for ) and then Suda. Aside from that in general i think people will generaly try and aim for the main title so that is very hard when ur cruiser. 2k 14 is making things harder though, ive noticed how screwy the detection is this. Is very uncool.

Karim didnt fair well withouth the running,lol. How we Euro's played this game in 06 had very little to do with making a match look realistic. Run! Duck, Run duck faint! More running! He was a fun addition to the boards though, crazy trash talker:p

This has more to do with the game itself than it can be blamed on the people playing. Even if people here enjoy OCW, it is highly unlikely that anyone here will play anyone outside OCW. So,getting better trough practice is harder for this game. And even then,this game has so little options and tools to throw people off guard or create diversity,its not very rewarding to "get better". Winning in the end is important. Certainty is never a good thing in wrestling, TV or video games. However you can't blame players for not being willing to spend time to improve their inring skills. My will to play , rp and invest time in OCW is still pretty strong, however my absolute hatred of this PS2 converted,neglected,slow unresponsive piece of shit game is so much stronger.

That guy did everything in his power to purposly piss people off. His matches were horrible, his caw was horrible. Many have offered to make him a better caw,me included. Then he took it and changed it compleetly. Djack is pretty much the only person in OCW history i truely hated..

Want to,really do. But i either sleep or work during EU and US evenings, i wont get matches done.

Dont think there is a difference in u appreciating Leon or not appreciating Leon. If there is a difference, its neglectable and i dont think Leon will notice it.

Speaking of wich, Elder Scrolls online is going to fail i think. Harder then FF14 on launch i think. Dark Souls II and Pillars Of Eternity are the only 2 games im looking forward to this year.

I didnt dig the first Superman movie. I didnt mind the person playing Superman. But the story just didnt make sense to me. I understand that the Superman Origin story has been told enough time, but for him to not start out as a journalist, i found weird. I mean basicly Clark was just minding his own business and Zod and co just put a speaker phone and shouted: uhm we looking for an alien on your planet, hes one of us, bla bla. He had no established reputation as a good guy yet and in the end, i really doubt the people of earth are happy that altough he saved them, him fighting,...basicly destroyed half a city. This Zod story could have been better for a second movie or possible 3rd movie, not the first. I mean i find any interaction between Batman, Wonder Woman or Flash is gonna be very akward.

Yeah i got the game, ill see if i can hop on this weekend. But even playing this game briefly infuriates me. So i probably only play an hour or two :p

Sniff, those were the days *salutes Parker*. It sucks that SvR leaves big bugs in for years and the one bug they should have kept, they fixed rather quickly.(08 i believe) When i could no longer get hair layers trough the mask, i couldnt make Vega anymore ;_; What "killed" my ability to win matches from 07 onward, is basicly the slowing down of the game and the graduate removal of tools to throw people off ( running + duck > running + direction grapple,groggy back grapple, in grapple punches withouth losing the grapple,etc). I was never superb at reversing, i was good at avoid getting grappled and using my lightheavys speed to throw people off. Ill be waiting for the SvR version that i can tolerate again like WWE 12 so i can get back into OCW. Untill then ill just hang around the boards:p

The person in charge of dishing out the pay/points couldnt keep it up. Not to mention our more thicker headed members at that time put Pyro/Fireworks shit in their entrance anyway ( Djack etc ) so it became pointless eventually.

My hatred for D-jack is almost equal to that of Corey Ledesma, so its staying. May everyone who has worked on the SvR games for the last 6 year suffer a horrible and painfull death....and breathe..

Love listening to the desk. Something to play in the background when doing other stuff. It always makes me itch to jump right back in. Its not any constraint on time or passsion for wrestling, i still like it. But yeah like i prob said before,its the game i cant stomach, and dont want to bother people constantly whining about it. Anyhoo, on the topic of who is main event and who's where on , it is think it such a problematic thing with e feds. Its gauged different by everybody. A true main eventer is someone who for the most part will be able to win more than he loses. But also needs something that makes you stand out in terms of looks and presence. And last you need a personality,to create storylines with. For me personally its like this. Your charachters looks,CAW,intro,music determin the minimal and the maximum of potential of where you can end up on the roster. Having an unique charachter can cut your work and effort in half or force you to work twice as hard on rping or winning to overcome that "flaw". And truth be told even than it wont guarantee that you will. To me guys like Mad Michael Morrison CAW and Majin CAW in terms of looks are still two of the most amazing charachters ive seen in the SvR games and in OCW history, but unforuntly just like myself were not to great at winning, or winning when it matters. And last, RPing. Rping, able to build a fued and charachter story determing how well you can capatilize on your caw/OCW Superstar potential. Cant work a main event if you have no personality and just show up and play matches..... << i think that is the gist of it, what makes someone ME is a mixture of those 3 things. Probably is extra hard because we all both compete and view the show aswell. So it for some can become hard to split what you might think of a player with the on show charachter. -----end rant :p

Tyro Kraven is free..altough i do not see a challenge into facing David Jackson in a handicap match..i don't see a good reason to feel that i'm above accepting any chance to appear on the flagship show that is OCW Riot. So if i'm needed,gimme a yell

Preference of the viewer i suppose ^^ You hate overly long entrances, i hate all matches with weapons in it. But on a side note what will does that extra 5 min of watching entrances matter when the average one on one match goes on for like 30 min 0_o .. Infinit kickouts ftw

There is nothing wrong with customizing your entrance as long as it servers your gimmick. Keep it to the point.

I have no problem with the way D Jack looks. Unfortunatly there arent allot of moves that would make it a credible gimmick. Something like The Worm would fit perfectly. Since nobody takes DJack seriously it makes sense for him to look like a comic relief charachter.

I honestly thought it was Mayhem rofl . I was like cool...oor...Parker,wow he changed last time i saw him.
