Does little Buddy need a hug?
I've done nothing but let Sean go over on me for a month and a half, I've just had my "best friend" flatten me and steal my title and now I'm having my arm wrenched out of my socket with my back turned. If you don't think I'm a downtrodden face in Kayfabe, then I don't know what to tell you.
If we take it the other way, and blur the lines (considering ourselves as the OCW "Fan") then Sean is the face here. He's being carried on a groundswell of support for his schtick - you're all making him a face by refusing to accept him as a heel. That's not caused by what happened at The Clash, that's caused by the fact that he's being held up as a Daniel Bryan character. For better or worst Sean McGee is accidentally our JYD because he's been turned into it by the fact everyone is stealing his shit in "support" (faces and heels)
The reason Sean didn't take the pin at The Clash was to preserve him as a heel - whether you like it or not, kayfabe dictates that any Triple threat match goes Pugh (face) vs Parker (heel) vs Sean (heel), where Pugh is the guy on a mission to regain what he arguably never lost, Sean is the guy who doesn't give a fuck and wants to destroy because he's been wronged, and Parker is the asshole who thinks he holds all the cards and the fans want to see taken down.
Arguably in a Parker vs Sean match, as it stands in Kayfabe right now, neither of them is "the face" the lines are blurred. It's up to Sean and Parker to guide you to exactly who you're supposed to be behind as we approach that match. The way it gets defined is by the actions of both men, so you should let them play out what they're going to do.
The fact of the matter is this. There are aren't enough people trying to be faces, because its cooler to be a heel. So you're gonna get heel vs heel sometimes, that's tough titties...
