As much as most people seem to believe it is, my opinion is not gospel. I feel like if you were HoFers, you'd have the instant OH I WANT TO SEE THIS MATCH momentum. Right now, you don't and you'll have to work hard to capture it. Like I say, just an opinion. Hopefully I'm proved wrong.

Thoughts: -Pato does his shit again. No dialogue, just nice writing. Enjoyable. -C4 doesn’t stand for the explosive, first of all. That’s just a happy coincidence. C4, the name, stands for the nothing in particular. We all have a different meaning. The only reference we could take is that it could be about the immediate effect of the explosion, the chaos etc. You’ll see it manifest itself over the coming weeks. Who knows? …and we’re not another heel group. We don’t have a heel group. Hell, we don’t even really have a top heel. Look at the roster for what it is, and it becomes clear where C4 will fit in the grand scheme. -Leon 2.0, while still a douchebag, fits what OCW requires right now. A leader to lead. With Our Hero inside, and Guy Fausto murdered, we need it. I still feel like the balance isn’t quite right between Leon’s own writing and his “proof reader”, but I understand why it is what it is. -Cool match, half expected Gibbs but was still nice to see him. The only issue I have with Gibbs is there’s not enough Mez. The tag division was alive, and now its only 2 teams deep again, so… anyone with alts, tag up. I hope Sid Harrison can beat me, and then obviously Parker going forward… but who knows. The HC title is harder to hold than any title, because EVERYBODY is eligible. Holding that title, to me, shows that you have ability. Maybe Harrison can go one better than me and main event Lution with it. -What started off as the worst idea out of all of them we had turned into perfection. Matsuda isn’t a heel, he’s OCW’s Invader Zim. He’s a cartoon villain and that’s why he’s over and you’re not. I really enjoy working with him when we get the chance. -Matsumoto you cannot be king of the Suplex. YOU ARE NOT THE KING OF THE SUPLEX -I’m not yet sure what Aries angle is, but having him back gives us another good writer, so I can dig it. Like I said earlier, the HC title is the toughest belt to defend due to the hunger of the people you have to defend it against. I dislike the Harrison character still, but maybe he’ll win me over. Maybe. -Espado is OCW’s El Generico only not generic enough. Work on your generic-osity please. -Minio. Wow. Minio. I really enjoy it when we get someone new who can write… I can’t wait to see his character and how he interacts with others on the basis of this RP…. Excited to say the least -Solid match, the running STO is awful, but whatever. -I hate Jessie. -Matsuda did it again. Pato being the calming influence is becoming more and more natural now. I like new Pato. “Arieth” is funny, even if I don’t fully understand the FF7 reference because it’s a pile of steaming bullshit. -Nice to have Hollywood back. Less nice to have Tiberius Dupree on the show, but I can deal with it. Hollywood. Kill. -I hate Jessie -Classic stuff from Mugen, who’s becoming the king of the pre-match hype. No matter who he’s duelling with, his insanity comes off good. DUPREE CAN SUCK A DICK -Cody is good at this game. Very good. I still think he needs the next level feud before he’s “ready” BUT, he’s as good as anyone on the sticks this year. -Valmont/Irving already feels like a “meh” feud. Realistically, right now, both of you need to re-earn your places. If you were two hall of famers, it’d be a different story but you’re not. I think BOTH of you should have had feuds with established roster members first, then worked this feud down the road. To me, its like Trevor Murdock and Ken Shamrock turning up on Raw and expecting people to care that they’re feuding… -WAR WERE DECLARED. -Arnaud dies, so Jim Black is the new Arnaud L -I will kill him. -Glad to see Jay back on a show. Always feels nicer when he writes something. Cool work, funny as always. -I half expected Cody to cry at the end of this promo. Sean has back up – the 38” pythons MUTHAFUCKA. Excited to see the Handi…. Oh -Shenanigans a plenty. Cool match, MUGEN YOU HAVE FAILED US. YOU DIDN’T KILL DUPREE ENOUGH, Sean picking up the win only solidifies his status as top dog (head) in Cerberus. -Tobin better not get mean. I don’t need a mean Tobin on the roster. He’s mean enough when he’s nice. -Commercial especially for you Kent \m/ -Suda holding my belt hostage is further evidence he’s the man at RPs. -Main Event was a good little go. Fully expected a Parker win due to no content from Trance, but he pulled it out. Aries coming to ringside in his dumb and dumber suit (Impact wrestling, month or so ago?) was weird. -Coach Neal made road agent? Did he ever wrestle a match? Jesus.

I'm going to say this because its deserved. As soon as I read the Minio promo I was invested in him. One promo. He's ready made. Well done.

See. Now you're sounding like a whiny bitch. Do a storyline so that you're actually in people's minds when me and Pato are done. The fact you beat three people doesn't make you next in line. You have a shot, sure, but I honestly don't understand this "I'm next" mentality. Work for it!

Because top guys work with top guys. Lets go through history. It took Parker YEARS to get a look in on the World Title picture. Tibby was HUGE for 6-8 months before he got his shot against Aries. It took me nearly a year of working with main event guys to get my first shot. Thats the most recent three, but Aries was in exactly the same boat (But i don't know his history well enough to put timings on there). The crucial part of this. Not one of us asked for it. We were GIVEN it because we'd earned it. Gibbs didn't want to be in the world title hunt as Gibbs, so Pato made sense, since he's a former World Champion. Sean and Tobin are both consistently mentioned when staff talk about challengers. They haven't already, but they deserve it a damn sight more than you do at this juncture. When the time is right, you'll get your shot. Its just not right now, so you'll need to do something in the meantime.

...and thats exactly the case. The guys at the top - you included, are tough to beat. You have to take yourself to the next level by showing an ability to hang with the top people on the game and in RPs. Its that simple.

I firmly believe that HAD you stayed over the summer, you would have had your shot by now. Since you left, you can't expect to waltz into a situation where you're number 1 contender. Since you've been gone, Sean, Gibbs and Tobin all busted their hump and EARNED what you're telling us you're entitled to. Its on you to FORCE your way into the reckoning by having something interesting going on to make people take note. Jay dropped the ball by not dating it, like Tobin said, but your gimmick can't be "Im waiting for my title shot". Say you get your shot... then what? If you win, you're a champion with the "I want to be champion" gimmick. If you lose... you tumble down the card and you're back to square one. Nothing going on AND no title shot. People don't trust in your ability to be interesting. Thats the sticking point here. You need to prove them wrong. The people who are successful are the people who are constantly working with other people. Truth.

You can't have it all roads though. Its somewhere in between competition and story. You need both in order to be successful.

While jay may have forgotten about it, the other staff hadn't. We were just waiting for you to pick up steam again. Now we're in the murky waters of you having it, but not having done anything storyline wise for a while (outside of bullying Leon). Like has been mentioned already here, you can't just be world champ because you win matches, you need the full package. Show us you are.
