Some people literally just play for the win, and as you've seen from playing me yourself, I can be quite entertaining. I guess it's the luck of the draw - but a lot of guys on this roster are willing to put on a good match rather than go balls to the wall for the W. My match was shocking, but hopefully I did save it with my RP. Anyways, onwards and upwards i guess... So long as I never have to fight Hazard in Extreme Rules again. The fpr wasnt that bad, Dane rolling out after Djack stole his fin was kinda lame, but as for reversals and timing it was pretty good. The Haz and Pugh match had all types of hoving and rushing. Haz has the most fucktarted move set. He has groggy moves for heavyweights as chains, and a jaw breaker in groggy? Seth Morrison Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 You know one thing ive noticed between the "new guys" and "older guys" is that most of the time, the guys back in 06, 07, 08 wanted to put on a good show. No slam to the new guys, as ive noticed some of you newer guys, that want to entertain us watchers.. But some of the new guys are flat out going for a "W" and nothing more. You do realize the more people you piss off, the less people will want to work angles with you. There has to be a balance of wanting the "W" and still wanting to put on a good show. I remember sometimes the guys i would be paired up with on Riot would get with me and go over some angles, and such for the match. Even if we werent working on a feud or angle, we still took time to go over preperations, much like they do in real life. Ill even go on to say this.. I am more impressed with the guys that put on good matches, over the guys that only win. If you have a guy that puts on entertaining matches but still loses, i would give him a push, and better storylines than the guy that wins with "ZOMG HE SMOKED HIM" fashion...... One example ill use. I remember doing some matches where my opponent and i would go over to put together some good spots, going outside the ring, and doing some stuff you would really see in the ring, then worrying about the W at a certain time in the match (can be figured out by using a clock or even damage). Those matches are more entertaining. Also, I can take criticism as I've clearly proven over the last two years... I'm still here ain't I? I can accept what Tyro is saying, but do you think I'm going to just lay back and not defend myself when such a brash statement was made? Hell no. I take no offense and mean no offense. But I do agree that Tibby/Aries was MOTN, by far. EDIT: After reviewing the play, the call on the field stands. I did pick up DJack ALMOST every time except for 1 ground grapple. I need to do more ground grapples and just mix it up in general, more strikes as well. NOTED! Pugh Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Something further to add to my defence aswell. I'm not blaming Hazard for our match, as we both were guilty of some FPR glitches. For me certainly, its an isolated incident, as those of you who've DMed with me will testify i'm sure. If you're so offended by my matches, then feel free to swerve them in future, its no skin off my nose. For those of you who stay, I'll continue to improve, and work on my own FPR as well as my in-ring ability. This is the first and only time I'll allow myself to lapse so readily into cheese territory. I made the mistake of playing the match like I was playing a randomer, rather than wanting to entertain you people. No.

But from a standpoint of trying to put on entertaining matches it looks like shit and like you're trying to take advantage of a game mechanic. Not saying nobody in wrestling holds a hold, but they sure don't do it every time they pick someone up. Reversals happen in an entertaining match. 2
