Mr.Richard Blood Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 http://img38.picoodle.com/i58j/stebag/tx3s_5fe_u9939.gif TITLES SUCK! 2
Jacob Trance Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Read all the RPs at work. Some really good stuff, although Arnaud... Remember that post where I offerred to proof read roleplays and what not? You should have taken it buddy. Sure, other people made mistakes, but yours was a minefield. Anyway, Valmont has been putting in a lot of work lately so I hope to see that rewarded, nothing much from Hostile or Dane from what I recall. Roleplay of the night is going to go to Pugh, with Aries at a close second. Valmont you are third,, quality over quantity my friend. Hazard, write something you bastard. Nothing from KD, Jookie or Iceberg.. Don't you people have PPV matches? Matsuuuudaaaaaaaa where are you? Edit: Dane appears briefly later on. 1
Tiberius Dupree Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Haven't read the entire show, but what i have seen is pretty awesome. Some good content in such a short time, everyone should pat themselves on the back! "You either die a hero or live long enough to become Nate Ortiz" - Drago Cesar "Let me make myself clear: you work for me. If I tell you to fight Blaine, you fight Blaine. Hell, if I tell you to fight a lion, you WILL fight a lion and still thank me afterwards for giving you a job." - Mr. Sensation
Tyro Kraven Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 This will be the first riot that i'll watch in 3 years so i dont know most of u guys so bare with me. Guys that do know my reviews of show knows they dont include rp's,i do read them but i dont comment on them, since its not really my forte, not to great of a RP writer. I just review the matches but since i dont know many of the charachter im gonna comment my personal view of my first impressions, things i like about the caws ,good and bad points. Their my opinion in the end,do as you wish with them. Im always avaialble for assistance just pm me if needed . So here goes ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ace Angel: Reminds me a bit of AJ Phoenix, interesting look. Normal, good attire, just one thing bothering me about the CAW, the jawline,it does make you non default face looking, but up close it looks really akward. But in the ring you wont see it so dont mind me,im just nit picking. Cant comment on THeme since there wasnt any. Justin Greene: Nice caw, stands out, fitting attire, fitting entrance, good theme, nothing to add really. Match: It was a good match, nothing that stood out in particular. Fitting movesets from what i saw in the match. There are some things that ive seen in more matches that bothered me, but i will adress that seperatly when i finished watching everything. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hazard : Very nice caw,put some nice work in the atitire i like it,very appealing, fitting music , the only thing i comment o is add is some shine to your caw and maybe some chest hair since, the caw is pretty bearded ( it sounds weird,i know) . Face>Skin> Texture add a bit of shine,it makes caws look that much more realistic. It by default is on -36 put on somewhere between -8 and -8,if you have white skin. Paul Pugh : Good attire, fitting music, but since i now take time to look at the entrance, since i already faced Pugh a few times in DM ,i notice the caw expression looks a bit to happyish/babyface and you kinda give off a babyface radiant instead of an Ego centric one. Match: I didnt like the match, not neccasery cause of my hatred towerds anything involving weaponry in this game. A mayority involves what i will adress after i reviewed the rest. What it comes down to this is the applying of sigs and finishers. I had wtf moments in the match but not the good kind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dorian Armaud: Tip,set your entrance music off :p Very nice caw,has good charisma, just one thing. The boots on the bottom they are yellow,it..kinda looks out of place, since the rest of your doesnt have any. If it is intended take a lighter form of yellow. When you make a color to bright,it looks fake and out of place in the game. It looks like you stepped into a pool of paint instead of having yellow on the bottom of your shoes. Additional advice Note: Your CAF. You kept the speed of the move at 100% im guessing. CAF always need tweaking since most animations are sped up or slowed to the point where it looks someone is either floathing or are decending in a unatural way. Im just putting out advise, making things looks realistic is something i enjoy ^^ So i recreated your CAF, try editing your CAF with this speed settings and it will look allot less self created and more naturally flowing. 1-100, 2-88,3-82,4-107 Jeremiah Johnson: Normal theme, nothing to special. Cant say much about the caw since there was a giant jacket covering everything. Not to mention the jacket looks a bit empty, out of place, not really has any purpose to be there. Since It has nothing on it. Match : Good match, people set up there finishers nicely. The ending is intwined to what botheres me overall, again, ill comment on that later. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ David Jackson: I dunno what to say really. Haha, different then other caws, ill give you that. Yeah that sums it up. Dane Xavier: Dig the pre entrance video, not much to say here also,in a good way for sure with this one, altough ...a certain name popped into my head ....nnnnnnnnate... Match : Wow....now here is a vision changer. When i finished my comments this was my expectation and mental image that i had with both players. David Jackson: Has a decent looking caw for once, lets see if he doesnt have a retarded moveset this time Dane Xavier: Cool looking caw, cool looking intro,he cant do much wrong normally. BUT WOW did that vision change during this match. Holy fucking shit i was rooting for David Jackson at the end. And not just because he was the only one actually wrestling in this match. Xavier you are one cheap and unentertaining guy to see play. Geezus christ you picked David up EVERYTIME even in the beginning when he would have gotten up by himself. You performed exactly 6 strikes in the ENTIRE match and those were on the ground. I dunno at what level tier people regard you, bottom card or mid or whatever but ill tell you this. You got a better picture of caw looks, entrance then most of seen so far but all the effort that you have put in your entrance,in your caw,in your gimmick gets INSTANTLY destroyed the moment you get in the ring. If OCW had no rules at this point in time,im pretty sure there gonna be after this match. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tiberius Dupree : Due to the compress format ill keep in reserve my comments on Aries and Tiberius Dupree. Since it was really hard to see details. Match: Thank you for displaying light at the end of this somewhat grimmy review. Awesome match with the only thing taking away from it being the constant disconnections and probably some lag aswell. TOP notch inring role playing, ill explain what that means. Basic and simple moves at the start and building up to bigger moves in your arsenal. Not to mention...PINNING after these moves, even if there gonna kick out,and even if for instance they messed up you let go, since matches arent suppose to end after lets say a top rope suplex, but you do pin after it. Both guys mix up. One time they pick someone, one time they let him up. Things like that. Very enjoyable match. Also for the first time i was not anoyed at the moments sigs and finishers were used. They were used at creative moments instead of falling out of the sky. Match of the evening: Altough short and connection issues, Aries vs Dupree Markout moment of the night : Aries connects finisher after ground reversal Worsed match of the night : Dane Xavier vs David Jackson Now,that last match is a perfect segway to problems that i had with the first 3 matches. The match with Dupree and Aries had a much higher entertainment value then the other 4 matches. Because there was such so much better role playing going inside the ring. The selection when to do wich moves, when to hit sigs, when to hit finishers , ( sigs are kinda a bitch to hit,but still id rather not hit my sig then doing it out of the blue ) . What bothered me the most that Front located sigs and Finishers were just getting hit out of the blue, just walking up to someone when the defender probably was counting either a strike or a grapple, not a finisher. And altough that is a wtf its a very unappealing wtf. A good display of pretty much everything above was the 2nd match, Pugh vs Hazard. Every finisher and sig looked out of place,no setup, not placed after a reversal no nothing. And the ending of the match felt very bitter,as like i said. You dont expect to get hit by a finisher when your standing next to someone getting up anticipating either a grapple or a strike, not a finisher. So yeah i didnt like how Pugh won that won,it felt very desperate. Wich brings me to point number 2 ! When the connection between player is good enough you can no sell any finisher...wich is a bother...and creates desperate endings and unwanted endings like the 2nd and 3rd match. So i guess that should be adressed or atleast disccussed at some point ^^ 8 http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g58/Undertaker1012/281x211.jpg Finishers: "Where is Tyro?!" (Front,F-U 2) "Faaaceeebusstaaaaaah!!" ( Back, Facebuster 06) Signature moves: Oversell punches (Grapple) Fancy footwork punches (Grapple)
Matsuda Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Matsuuuudaaaaaaaa where are you? Edit: Dane appears briefly later on. Too busy with the old man fight. Didn't have enough time to do both and I wouldn't lower myself to writing something rushed and subpar. Also to Tyro, you will see that matches that are pre plananned are far more entertaining and competitive matches tend to be cheesier in most cases. Just saying...
Seth Morrison Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Djack looks like a Mighty Endorphin Power Ranger. 2 Dane Xavier: cyber bullying is not only illegal, it's pathetic "I swear to go if you call me a Liberal again you RETHUGLICAN, SEE WHAT I DID THERE. This is america, if you want to throw your hard earned sweat money on a videogame gambling site and thus deny you and your family food and shelter THAN BY GOD DAMMIT YOU CAN, BECAUSE THIS IS AMERICA YOU COMMIE SOCIALIST. Now then when Can I expect your next donation? "- Jay Jay Double A is "The Weapon Of Mass Consumption"
Tyro Kraven Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 He kinda reminds me of Stalkar Ishiwade, not expecting anyone to know or care who that is. Point is,its different, and it inst like revolting or plain out of place in a match. I dig it. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g58/Undertaker1012/281x211.jpg Finishers: "Where is Tyro?!" (Front,F-U 2) "Faaaceeebusstaaaaaah!!" ( Back, Facebuster 06) Signature moves: Oversell punches (Grapple) Fancy footwork punches (Grapple)
Useless Dane Xavier Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 BUT WOW did that vision change during this match. Holy fucking shit i was rooting for David Jackson at the end. If OCW had no rules at this point in time,im pretty sure there gonna be after this match. That's a dramatic exaggeration, number one. Number two, I've gotten no complaints from anyone I've faced in DMs, and if they're just keeping a tight lip for the sake of not confronting me then and only then will I be offended. The end of Riot had me cracking up, especially Poling's closing line (see what I did there?). More later. http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g289/jlethridge1/DaneCard.jpg http://wrestlinglol.com/photos/14n34sp.gif
Pugh Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I'd like to point out RE: Tyro's comments that not all matches are gonna be classics. Some people literally just play for the win, and as you've seen from playing me yourself, I can be quite entertaining. I guess it's the luck of the draw - but a lot of guys on this roster are willing to put on a good match rather than go balls to the wall for the W. My match was shocking, but hopefully I did save it with my RP. Anyways, onwards and upwards i guess... So long as I never have to fight Hazard in Extreme Rules again. I'll do a review tomorrow when i've properly watched everything No.
