Smythe D. Wonder Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 It's so crazy watching shows now f you've been here for years... Pugh is OCW's Zack Ryder... pretty much the only guy I mark for when I just see his name... he's like Eddie Allen for me.. he was awesome too... the Writing has gone to a whole new level with the former Amibition guys coming in... Rp's are good now... they aren't funny like the Old schoolers... but everyone can't be a comedian... The ME guys now... Dane, Valmont, Aries, Leon, are straight workhorses... quality content week after week... D-Jack's finally found his footing... I'm happy for him... Jookie is a crowd favourite as well... by default... OCW's best Stoner character and one of our best writers... Tibby has the impossible task of trying to write as a face character... we realized early in OCW that it's pretty much impossible unless your making fun of people... and kicking everyone's ass... He's doing a Nately job so far tho... and the Dimsmore feud is awesome... Suda is on an incredible run... (not so much the matches, hate to say it... but I don't give any respect to the auto-win sub-finish) but his work is top of the line... he might be having the most fun here... and that's what were here for... K.D is the new Adrian Bold... He's playing clean only if he loses... isn't fair.. but I guess he earned the title... I do suggest tho that people partner up and feud a bit more... working with Tyro is pretty awesome so far... bouncing ideas and suggestions off each other is what OCW is about... building and creating... oh yeah... Riot was Awesome that is all... and starting next week I'll be critiquing matches... and i'll be tough... I want to see the in ring shit clean up a bit goign forward!!! 5 Signature 1 - The Alpha Heel Signature 2 - Spear 5 (F) - Stargazer Finisher 1 - Flapjack 2 (F) - The SDW Finisher 2 - Reality check (G) - Dawonderful Dream Finisher 3 (i'm cool enoigh to claim 3 moves) - The Darkside - THe Million Dollar Dream

Jookie Marley Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Get your Markout button ready for this week. I'm going nuclear. You? Maaannnn imma make next weeks riot look like a atom bomb hit it. 3x EX Division Champion 1x Hardcore Champion 1x Light Heavyweight Champion
Pugh Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 You? Maaannnn imma make next weeks riot look like a atom bomb hit it. You wanna throw down pitney? Pugh comes, he steals the show, and he leaves. Thats how it is now, that's how it'll always be! No.
Matsuda Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Suda is on an incredible run... (not so much the matches, hate to say it... but I don't give any respect to the auto-win sub-finish) but his work is top of the line... he might be having the most fun here... and that's what were here for... If you think I've only won matches via sub fins you haven't been watching my matches! If you were you would know that I've only won 3 matches on my "best record in wwe 12" streak with a sub finisher, and I think a number of people would agree that I consistanty put on entertaining matches week in and week out. I'd venture to say my in ring psychology is better than my promos. 1

Luckily, Suda doesn't do boring matches, and if you play him for a show, you'll get what I'm talking about. He's one of the best communicators for spot calling in OCW (as are all of the "ambition rooks") - he wants you to get as much offence on him as he does to you... it's kinda a weird concept, but it makes the match awesome No.
Jookie Marley Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 You wanna throw down pitney? Pugh comes, he steals the show, and he leaves. Thats how it is now, that's how it'll always be! Well shits gon changeee this week 3x EX Division Champion 1x Hardcore Champion 1x Light Heavyweight Champion
Useless Dane Xavier Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 You wanna throw down pitney? Pugh comes, he steals the show, and he leaves. Thats how it is now, that's how it'll always be! That's gimmick infringement upon The Steve. Anyways, I've been dying to say this all day, Valmont touched on it a bit. Let's say, and don't think this is such a crazy idea... let's say our kickout rule is zero kickouts, but the key is you cant hit a finisher until you opponent is damaged (holding a body part). Eh? Eh? You like? I like the idea. Most DM's I've played lately I played to damage before using a finisher, and it was usually one and done. Match looked good IMO and I think it could work for Riots and maybe a kickout limit on PPVs. I mean think about it, aside from main events occasionally, how often do you see people kick out of finishers on TV (not talking about TNA mind you)? Tink aboudit. http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g289/jlethridge1/DaneCard.jpg http://wrestlinglol.com/photos/14n34sp.gif
Pugh Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 That's gimmick infringement upon The Steve. I'm sorry white RD Money, did you say something? I don't like no kick outs, mostly because even though we want "the real" experience, we also want to encourage competition. Lemme give you a hypothetical. Me Vs you. You're bigger than me, you're more powerful, you will fuck me up early. It will take me A LOT longer to damage you. So even if we build up a finisher at the same time, the game decides that you, as a heavyweight, will do damage faster than me, a light heavyweight, can. Meaning that you have the opportunity to win before i can even think about it. Unless I'm completely wrong, and they took size affecting damage away. A kickout rule for Riot/random PPV matches, and a relaxing of the rule for big, feud defining/title matches is my preference No.

Your hypothetical doesn't scream "the real" experience? You kinda contradicted yourself there. Plus, how often do heavyweights face light-heavyweights in OCW? Even if they did, this concept comes down to pure skill. If you're going to reverse the shit out of me and I'm going to just shrug and say "ahhhhdunno" on the sticks, then it'll come off as a underdog story, which is completely "the real" experience. http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g289/jlethridge1/DaneCard.jpg http://wrestlinglol.com/photos/14n34sp.gif
