I didn't realize how truly egregious that hot tag was until I watched the reply. Mugen, Hollywood, sorry bout that guys! We're learning on the fly and bloopers like that are examples of such, but I'm glad I probably blew that match by leaving him on the ropes after my finisher, cause like KD said, that hot tag could have really affected the outcome there.

There's nothing in the rules that says you can't use a hot tag without being hit with a fin. It was an old rule from 3 years ago, some people here like to live in the past.

 

It falls under the banner of ETHICS opposed to it being a standard FPR violation.

As far as cats breaking "FPR" goes - I recall a similar situation with Hollywood/Scofield when Parker and I faced them. You put it down to inexperience, because tag mathes aren't all that common for most people, so they have to learn a handful of specific rules. I don't personally see an issue, as both dudes are generally cool with FPR/ethics anyway, so we just chalk it up to experience and move on.

Since were on topic of FPR, from and aesthetics point of view it looks like trash when I see the misuse of the ring escape mechanic. So often do I see people get hit with a high impact move and no sell it with a roll out.

I tend to use it if a move throws me towards the ropes, a giant swing, suplex or whatever to try and sell the move a little better. If you time it right, it marries up nicely.

Gonna be weird without Parker being here. When I started Riot he was always a big part of the show and I always loved what he brought to it. Hope Parker is back someday. Dude was here when I started and had always been here and gonna say it again, gonna be weird.
